After confirming their respective roles, the three girls each found the most suitable spot in the big villa and quietly waited for the arrival of the suspects.

Felix was the first to arrive.

A handsome man with delicate facial features, he wore a pair of glasses and had a white shirt on, looking rather prim.

Anita brought him into the living room, and the two greeted each other.

Anita retorted, “Don’t you know who she is?”

Felix said, rather embarrassedly, “I drank too much that day and played billiards on the third floor. I was so drunk that I fell asleep. When I woke up in the middle of the night, I found myself in the living room on the first floor. I don’t remember what happened in between, and I had no idea that I had sex with someone.”

Anita looked at him in silence for a long time.

Felix said frankly, “I’m very sorry that this happened, but I will take responsibility for my actions.”

Sophia had mixed feelings. “It was me.”

She did not expect the outcome; the first suspect confessed.

When Felix saw Sophia, he blushed. He stood up and said apologetically, “Miss Sophia, I’m really sorry!”

Felix was a math genius, and Sophia was the top finance student. Although they were studying different majors, as one of the few outstanding students of Rotary University, they knew each other. Moreover, both finance and math majors shared many of their classes together. As their professors prized students, they would often meet each other in the offices of their teachers.

Even then, they were just acquaintances.

Sophia said, “Do you not remember what happened that night?”

Felix shook his head. “If I did, I wouldn’t have waited for you to find me. My parents would never allow me to commit such irresponsible acts.”

Anita and Olivia, who were eavesdropping on the second floor, nodded approvingly. If the baby’s father was Felix, it seemed a little easier to understand.

“Miss Sophia, do you have any plans for this child? Of course, no matter what you choose, I will respect your decision.”

Sophia replied, “I want to give birth to him and raise him together with the father of the child.”

Only Sophia and Felix were left in the lounge.

Felix was a little awkward and nervous. He did not know if Sophia blamed him. After all, she was the victim here.

He braced himself and repeated, “I will take responsibility.”
