Zack let me leave early for my break. I decided to do a bit of shopping for clothes for New Year's. I walked into a department store when I bumped into Simone.

She is surrounded by her friends, shopping for clothes. I admire how beautiful she looks. Simone holds a outfit against her body.

"Do you think he'll like this?" Simone asks. "Is it not too extra for the first time meeting?"

"Yes, you look so cute. Plus, who cares what he thinks, as long as you are confident that's all that matters. Now, do you feel confident?" Her friend asks.

"Yes," Simone responds meekly.

"That wasn't confident. Say it, again"

"Yes!" Simone says confidently.

I smile at Simone. I take a quick look at her outfit, so I can pick something similar to match with her on New Year's. I pick up a blue crewneck, white collar shirt, and some khaki pants.

I quickly go back to the shop to see nobody there. I ask Zack to do my hair.
