Love In The Mall173 wordsβ€’~1 min read

I had a great time with Timothy on this day. We went out for dinner at a five-star restaurant known as McDonald's as Timothy likes to put it, but I didn't mind because I don't like fancy places.

Timothy walks me to the door. "I had a great time, Si."

I smile. "Me too."

Timothy grabs my hand gently, and I welcome the warmth. He takes a step closer and leans in ninety percent going in for a kiss. I stop Timothy.

"Timothy, I can't kiss you. I don't want to lead you on because I haven't moved on yet," I see Timothy's smile fall. "Until then, hugging and holding hands is better."

"I'll take what I can get. But, we'll stay friends, right?" I nod. His smile reappears.

"Once I move on, you'll be the first to know."

"I better," Timothy says teasingly.

We both hug. "I want you to know this is the best first date ever."

I smile at Tim's comment and nod. "Bye, Timothy."

"Bye. See you tomorrow?"

"Definitely."
