Chapter 7: Chapter 7~I accept you ….but..

Arabella’s POV~

I rollover onto my back amd stretch out. Pointing my toes to stretch my calves and roll to hop out of bed. Only to hop on someone. I look into his eyes and say “why are you in my bed? And he answers with a question “Are you my mate?” I said “Are you here to reject me now?”

He said “Goddess No! I am here to accept you” I put my hand over his mouth and said “before you do, I have to tell you my story.” He nodded.

I said “when I was born, my mother had to leave that night. Zeus had found her and to punish her, locked her in her realm. She can visit here…but no longer than 15 minutes. Or Zeus shocks her back with a lightning bolt. She says it hurts. Bad! Every summer, I spent two weeks with her. She’s really the best mom. It’s the only place I was ever happy. When I was younger, I stayed at the orphanage.. I mean, my father couldn’t have a half-goddess, half-wolf hanging around..could he!? I am the bastard child after all! My half-brother Ezekiel is a twatwaffle. And my biggest bully…he and his friends beat me up..tormented me…locked me up. It was horrid. When my father was murdered.. I was sent to boarding school…and I thought it would be a blessing! It wasn’t. It was worse. They beat me..locked me in closets..shoved me down stairs and closed me in lockers. I just kept keeping my head down and taking double courses so I could get my degrees and no one would torment me again. My mom was my only solace. And she was safe. When I was ten, she told me who my mate is..and why he is my mate. That we would have a rough start but mates work through everything. And then my lesson was to study my mate.. learn about the Umbral wolf. Watch his mannerisms and learn the foods he likes..his favorite habits. So I did. For 8 years. I watched and I learned…and I hurt…and got angry..frustrated..I suffered with my self-esteem..and I couldn’t even blame you! You don’t follow the Moon Goddess Doctrine. You don’t believe in fated mates. And you didn’t fall in love with me..so you didn’t have to wait..” by this time I’m crying and he just held me.

He stretched us out on the bed and he held me. He said “you fell in love with me?” I said “yeah…I guess I did. That’s all you took away from all that?” He said “No..but it was the most important one! Your mom couldn’t help? With what was happening..you being hurt?”

I said “no. She can’t interfere with her wolves. It is one of Zeus’s most absolute laws. Even if I died..well..bad example, I’m immortal.”

He looked down and said “we will be together forever?” Then he grinned and pulled me to him in a kiss…I backed away “..we have been together forever. Our wolves are the first wolves. Eros can explain………. I want today.. before you accept me, I want the other two gone.. you know what two..and I want to compete in the sparring competitions! After that, we will accept each other.”

He smiled and said deal…I said “deal! Now scoot so I can get ready.” He smacked my ass andHe stopped at the door and said “Will you stop hiding your scent and our sparks?” I smiled and nodded…and let loose. He breathed in deep and grinned like a boy!

I walked into breakfast and saw Sebastian scenting me in and he grinned at me and winked. I smiled back and sat beside Callista and asked “what are your plans when this is over?” She said “I was hoping to be with you. Things aren’t good at my home. Most of the time I don’t exist. Unless some chore isn’t done or something gets broken then everyone remembers me.”

I said “so you really want to stay with me?” She nods..I say “even if it’s in a castle?”

Her eyes got bigger…I said “don’t squeal and don’t tell… Sebastian is my True Mate. I am the daughter of the Moon Goddess and an Alpha”.. She slapped her hands over her mouth and started bouncing in her seat.

Sebastian links me..laughing.. “I take it you told her..she’s taking it well..” I looked at him and giggled. I told him “my mom said to release the scents that she took when everyone turned from her doctrine.”

He linked back “let’s wait until dinner…It will be great to watch people find each other.” I agreed!! It would be fun!

We got out to the training field…I was all feeling myself! My mate was going to accept me. I have a best friend..and she’s staying with me! Yeah! I’m feeling myself.

I stepped up to the front of the crowd of girls and…saying loud enough for the guys to hear …… “y’all saw what happened yesterday…so I can either knock all y’all out and declare I am the winner, Orrrrr…y’all can quit now and I won’t knock you out” And Candace bitch slapped me!

I spun and punched her in the temple and she dropped like a stone. I said Next!!! And nobody moved. I turned and looked at the guys..they were too busy laughing… I said “what do I do?” And Sebastian said “Life with you will never be boring!” I smiled and said “Yeah…but what do I do about the women.?”

He linked dismiss them. You are the Queen Luna! I turned back to the women and said “sparring competition is over! You all have free time until after Lunch. The King has some business to attend to.”He looked at me..surprised..then started laughing…smacking my ass as I walked past him

I walked into the kitchen. I’m in the mood for baking. I introduce myself…and tell the ladies I would take care of dessert for lunch and dinner today. Callista said she would help, but mostly she wore everything. I made baklava, apple tarts and a whipped chocolate mousse lasagna.

A woman steps into the kitchen and says “what do you think you’re doing?” I said “baking. Captain Obvious.” She snarled “He belongs to me! My father has it Arranged!! My dad said so!” I looked at her…said “whooaaaa there chica! You’re gonna pop a blood vessel! Who are you now?” She spits “I am Celia Somers! I am the Queen!! I am the one he fucks every night! He has been promised to me!”

I look up to see Sebastian and the guys… and say… “nope! Pretty sure..the other night he said Suck it Candace! And she did! Then he slammed her head into the headboard all night…and your name ain’t Candace.” I spun and walked to the garden….

Sebastian followed me out and said he was so sorry. I stopped him and said. I accept you……… but…
