Chapter 260 An Idea Cynthia didn’t care about his cold face at all. She lowered her head and smiled. “I want to tell you not to lend money to David.”

Henry didn’t expect her to be so straightforward. He smiled and looked at her with his arms crossed. “I was able to take over Miller Group with the help of Ivan and Tansy Group. If I don’t lend him money, I’m ungrateful. Do you want me to be an ungrateful person? I’m sorry.”

Cynthia expected his answer, and she took out a check from her bag and pushed it in front of Henry.

Cynthia said, “I want you to break the contract, so I have to give you some compensation.”

Hearing her words, Henry got angry. “Are you threatening me?”

He looked outside the door and saw Lloyd and Bill with anger in their eyes. “Do you think you can force me by bringing two people with you? I’m not afraid of you. I will never let you go.”

As he spoke, he approached Cynthia and said sullenly, “Do you still remember the feeling of being kidnapped? Do you want to experience it again?”

When Cynthia thought of Lily who was kidnapped and died, and Alston who was missing, she got angry. Henry frowned. He didn’t know if what she said was true or not. His grandfather had a close relationship with the Green family.

When Cynthia saw that he was hesitant, she said, “Do you think that if you lend money to get Ivan and Clare out of prison, Tansy Group will be fine? They can help you gain a firm foothold in Jadney City?”
