ETHAN'S POV (surprise surprise)
She was really crying. Oh God, it still hurts to see her cry. I know I'm a jerk but I really do care about her. I'm mean because of her brother because best friend or not when it comes to Emma he just don't care about anyone else.
"Does it matter that I'm crying? You don't care about me, do you? Even if you are responsible for making me cry" she asked. I wanted to say yes princess I do but I just can't so instead I shook my head and more tears started coming out of her eyes. She pushed me away after mummering "l hate you" and left me standing there shocked. At that moment I also hated myself but there was nothing I can do.
Someone tapped my shoulder and I turned around to find Rose. Oh God not her. It's not that I hate her but I also don't like her either. I've been with her for like 2 months and let's just say we've done physical stuff but other than that it was just an act for me so no one will find out about my crush on my Best friends little sister. And so Zach will not push me away from Emma, she doesn't like me but atleast I can see her everyday.
"What are you doing here baby?" Rose asked I just shrugged not wanting to reply. I knew I was using her but she was doing the same because we are not mates and we agreed to date until we find our mates. Also I was not using her in any sexual way because we both agreeded mutually before getting physical with eachother. I didn't know what was gonna happen between me and Rose or Emma, when I found my mate which will be tomorrow because tomorrow I'll turn 18.
**Next Day( Ethan's birthday)**
Emma's P.O.V
Today I woke up early because I didn't want Rose, Ethan or anyone else to barge in my room specially not him because today is his birthday and I don't want to ruin it for him or me. And yes I remember his birthday because we used to be best friends. I got ready and decided to go for something simple which was a light blue skinny jeans and a t-shirt and black hoodie. I got down stairs to see Rose who was excited because she wanted to be his mate and our future luna.
We were unfortunately giving a lift to that asshole because of some stupid problem with his car. When we reached his house or the pack house he was already waiting for us. Rose and Zach both wished him but I didn't bother to wish him after what he did yesterday.
I don't know what was wrong but I can feel him staring me and when I looked over him he will just turn his face in other direction. I also noticed his hand on Rose thigh but soon he removed it and didn't even looked at her.
ETHAN'S POV
As soon as I enter the car a sweet smell hit me and my wolf howled and started screaming the word MATE that's when I realised my mate is present in the car. I put a hand on Rose's thigh but I didn't feel any thing. Wait this mean Emma is.......oh god. I look over her she was wearing a black hoodie and jeans and still manage to look so freaking beautiful. My wolf wanted to take over but I controlled him.
When we reached to school a large crowd of girls was already waiting there before I can do any thing, Emma just stormed out of the car without saying a word to anyone. I jumped out of the car and followed her, the hallway was empty so I caught her wrist and tingles started running to my whole body from where I touched her.
I took her to empty class room and close the door behind us. I knew she also felt the same because of the shocked look on her face. "Emma your my mate" I said I was so fucking happy about her being my mate my wolf was asking me kiss her but before I can say any thing she started crying. I guess she didn't feel the same about me.
**Emma's P.O.V**
Someone caught my wrist when I was walking in the almost empty hallway and tingles started running through my body and my wolf was purring with joy . I was taken to an empty class room and when I turned I found Ethan who said I'm his mate. I knew it by the way my wolf was reacting but I didn't want him to be my mate after what happen. I wanted a guy who really care about me and love me not a jerk who was already dating my best friend. "No no no......this can't happen" I said when tears started streaming out of my eyes I just can't lose Rose because of this jerk.
I ran out of the class room,and texted my friends I was skipping school because I wasn't feeling well. And I left the school and went to the forest where I can run freely in my wolf form. My wolf has beautiful golden brown coloured fur and I love it. I change into my wolf behind the trees took my clothes and started running, away from Ethan, away from my problem, away from this life.
I reach my favourite spot our lake near an empty cabin which was found by me and Ethan when we were kids only we knew about it and no one else so when ever we felt sad we can spend some time there. I sat there thinking about my life.
After some time I went back home to find Rose waiting for me in my room. "Where were you Emma if you would have been one minute late I would have killed you, now come on take a shower we have to get ready" she said . "For what?" I asked and she said "Ethans party how can you forget about it" I didn't want to go there but I promised her and now I can't back off . Oh moon goddess why did you do this to me. But then I decided to put a brave face and got ready.
Rose was wearing a red dress which was sleeve less and showed every curve of her body but also was not too revealing with matching lipstick and heels. I decided to wear my black dress which ended my mid thigh was strapless and applied liner, mascara and my lip gloss also with my black strappy sandals and for the first time I thought I belong with my friends.
We went to the party where we meet Clara, Mark and Anne. They were also looking good. After some drinks my favourite song came up and I started dancing with Mark and that's when I saw him. He was looking like a Greek god. My wolf was getting mad and was losing control.
When he looked at me he was smirking while checking me out but suddenly a frown appeared on his face. Suddenly I saw Rose by his side and that's when I realised he's not mine because even if he's my mate he hasn't declared it and that's when I decided I've nothing to do with him .
**Ethan's P.O.V** ( I know there are many pov's in this part, sry can't help myself)
When I saw her I was so turned on, but when I saw he was dancing with Mark my future beta I wanted to rip his head off but I can't let my wolf take over and before I can do anything Rose was by my side. I haven't told anyone about Emma being my mate so everyone was clueless.
When the party was in full swing I saw Emma going to one of the bathroom and she was alone cause all of her friends were dancing I thought it was the correct moment and followed her.
When I went inside she was reapplying her lip stick or something but stopped when she saw me and asked "what are you doing here Ethan?" I laughed because I knew she was drunk and was trying to hide it so I said "This is my house, my party so I think I should ask what are you doing here?" I asked moving closer to her so she was trapped between the counter and me.
By her scent my wolf was going crazy and I wanted to take her on that counter but before I could do anything she wrapped her arms around my neck and moaned which drived me crazy and said "ooh my godd Ethann yoou smell soo goodd".
And before she can say any thing else I sat her on the counter my one hand on her thigh where her dress ended other around her neck and kissed her. At first she was surprised but she surprised me by kissing me back and God she was amazing and even after drinking she tasted like cherry and vodka which was a seriously good combination.
I keep kissing her and I swear she was the best kisser. But after some time we pulled away and she said "Good nightt Ethann" she kept her head on my shoulder and feel asleep.
I carried her outside told Zach that she was asleep in the bathroom but skipped our kiss because I don't want to die on my birthday and told him I'll take her to my room because we can't leave her in any guest room on a party night which he agreed to. After that I took her my bedroom and.....

Hey snowflakes, yup I'm writing on Christmas Eve just because its been 6 days since last update and I told ya I'll update once a week but I was so busy with school and stuff ya know. But now that I have updated pleasee vote, comment and share as much as you canâ¨.
