Jason's eyes traveled towards the dead man's body laying down on the ground in front of him with blood seeping out of his head. The other two guys had long passed out due to losing a lot of blood.
Lily saved his life.
The gun that Jason gave to Lily slipped out of her hand as she hugged him tightly. Her hands were shaking and her sobbes filled the eerie silence.
Jason looked down at his shirt that was coated with the guy's blood and his hand that was red too.With his other hand he ran his fingers over Lily's hair trying to calm her down.
"Lily, I'm okay and you're okay, baby. Stop crying, love"
"I-i'm sorry I- I don't know I came out a-and he was holding his gun at you. I- I swear I didn't mean to kill him, I was aiming at his back... I told you I don't know how to shoot"
Lily was hyperventilating at this point and Jason's heart broke at her frightened state.
"It's alright, baby. You did good, you saved me and that guy was a bad guy he was gonna hurt me and you, so don't be sad over this piece of shit"
"But I still kille-"
"Hush, baby. You did what's right. Let's get you out of here, I will let my men clean your house before your parents are back. You're staying with me tonight"
"But my parents won't allow it"
"Leave that for me, Fiore, okay?"
"Okay"
"Good girl"

Jason took Lily to the same penthouse he took her too the first time he met her. He stared over at her as she snuggled into the couch, she fell asleep halfway through the movie, poor thing was exhausted.
Tonight's events took a toll on her and Jason wanted to revive the motherfucker and kill him all over again for causing this to her.
Her face was scrunched even in her sleep and her lips were frowning as if she was having nightmares. Jason's thumb unconsciously rubbed the frowning lines from her forehead as he tried to ease her in her sleep.
Her face relaxed immediately in response to his touch and her resting cute face made her look even more angelic if possible.
Jason's eyes betrayed him and watered as his mind screamed at him that she's going to leave him alone soon enough. How will he ever live without her now that he found her and got attached, now that she became his world.
He wasn't lying about marrying her; he will marry her even if this was the last thing he will do in his life. Tomorrow he will make it happen, and no one can stop him.
Jason called Lily's parents earlier and told them that Lily will be staying with his family because it's not too safe for her to stay alone. He lied, he wouldn't take her to his family house, he wants her all for him.
Her parents only allowed it because they were running late and would probably spend the night in some hotel.
Jason got up and walked out to the balcony dialing a number on his phone. Without any introductions Jason directly got into his bossy mood.
"Did you kill the two fuckers?"
"No, sir, one of them died on his own, but the other is awake."
"Good, I want you to get these information out of him in any way. Who sent them, who told them about Lily, who else knows about her and what the fuck do they want with her. Extract every single information you can get out of him by tomorrow, understood?"
"Yes, sir."
Jason ended the call and did something he hadn't done since he met Lily. He grabbed a cigarette and lit it up as he enjoyed the feeling of nicotine running through his lungs and setting his blood on fire before his whole demeanor relaxed.
Blowing the smoke out he tilted his head upwards staring at the clear sky that was sparkling with the bright stars. The night cool breeze of wind messed his hair and kissed his face as the smell of cigarettes engulfed him.
The click of the balcony door broke the quietness and Jason's eyes connected with Lily's as he turned around towards the door. Jason quickly threw the cigarette on the floor and stepped on it then opened his arms for Lily to get in.
Without a single word, Lily stepped into Jason's arms as his heat wrapped around her fragile body and sent a sense of peace into her.
"Why are you smoking, Jasey. I've never seen you smoke before"
"I'm sorry, love. It won't happen again"
"No, Jasey, why were you smoking?"
"I was just a bit stressed that's all , Fiore"
"I'm sorry"
"Why are you sorry, love? It's not your fault"
"It is my fault, if I had had called the police in the first place none of this would've happened"
Jason pulled back so that he could look at her face and grabbed her chin so that she was looking straight into his eyes. Lily's eyes sparkled under the soft moonlight and goosebumps rose over her arms from Jason's intense look .
"Listen very well, baby. None of the shit that happened today is your fault. I don't ever want to hear you saying such thing again, you hear me?"
Lily nodded her head and snuggled back into his chest as her hands traveled under his shirt and rested on his lower back.
"I want to hear you're words, Lily"
"Yes, Jason. I understand"
"Good. I love you, Fiore, more than anything in this world. I wouldn't have forgiven myself if anything bad happened to you today."
"Don't say that, Jasey. I love you way more"
Jason kissed the top of her head and carried her as his hands rested under her butt to support her weight.
"Let's get you back inside and tuck you in bed, yeah?"
"No, let's finish the movie"
"We both know you're going to fall asleep again, love. Let's just sleep"
"Okay"
Jason, for the first time since he met Lily, was going to sleep with her in his arms. His heart was racing in excitement and he prayed that Lily wouldn't hear it.
His arm draped over her and around her back while their legs intertwined. The only sound that could be heard was the soft breaths coming out of Lily as she was falling asleep.
"Lily"
"Yes, Jasey" Lily sleepily responded.
"Let's get married tomorrow"
Lily pulled away from Jason's chest to look at him trying to figure out if he was serious.
"What? Are you serious?"
"Of course I'm serious. I asked you before and it wasn't a joke, Lily, I want to make you my wife. Unless you've changed your mind"
"No, I didn't. How will we make this happen though? Our parents won't accept it and we're still too young"
"Let's not tell anyone, we could go get married by ourselves, I have someone that could make this happen , no one has to know"
"Are you sure about this, Jasey? You know I'm going to -"
"Yes, love, I've never been sure about anything like this before. Tomorrow we will get you a dress and ring and I will make you mine"
"Till death do us apart?"
"No, till heaven reunites us"
"I love you so much, Jasey"
"I love you more, Fiore"
So it was settled tomorrow Lily and Jason were going to get married. They didn't care about what their parents would say, about what the society would say that they're still kids, about what their friends would say.
They didn't care about anyone or anything but their love.
They loved each other so deeply that no one could stand in the way. Jason wanted to make every dream that Lily had true and if that meant marrying her at a young age and trying to make their own house and family then he was more than willing.
He would do anything for her.
If he knew that ripping his heart out would make her better he would've done it without a second thought. If had to give her every single organ in his body in order for her to live he would.
Jason's face lit up with a smile as he thought about tomorrow. Lily would officially be Mrs.King, she will be his and only his and no one would dare to harm her under his protection.
Jason grabbed the necklace that was hidden under his shirt and took it off staring at it then back at Lily. Lily was sound asleep by now, but Jason couldn't get a wink of sleep with her next to him.
His heart was beating so fast that he was scared it would wake up Lily, no matter how silly it sounded.
He wrapped the necklace around her neck and secured it. Now everyone will know that she's his and whoever dares to mess with her will be messing with the whole Empire mafia.
