January the tenth.
Today is Lily's birthday.
Here she is rushing through the shops, with her mother, trying to get a last minute birthday party dress.
Lily had already bought one a few weeks ago, but the last one reached just above her knees and quite frankly, Lily didn't want anyone to see her red swollen knee.
Lily got out of the changing room to show her mother the dress she had on. It was an off shoulder floor length dress that hugged her waist perfectly. Its tulle fabric was amazing and its nude color complimented her skin just perfectly .(picture below).
"Aww, honey. You look absolutely perfect" Her mother said, her voice quivering as she tried her best not to cry.
Her teary eyes scanned over Lily and her heart ached. She held her hand and twirled her around as the dress flared around her like a princess.
"My girl is the prettiest princess ever"
"Thank you, mom"
Lily pulled her mother into a hug upon seeing her saddened face. But she also didn't want her mother to see that she was on the verge of crying just like her.
"Come on, dear, I'll pay for the dress while you change. There's still a lot to be done" Her mother attempted to pull herself together.
Few hours later, everything that needed to be bought was done. Lily's parents were holding a birthday party for her and invited a lot of people, it was her sixteenth birthday afterall.
Lily wasn't allowed to help with the organization of course. So she had some time to kill before she actually had to get ready.
Lily was munching on some snacks when her phone dinged, grabbing her attention.

Get ready, I'll be there in five.
Lily didn't even question him anymore, as usual he won't answer, so she stopped asking.
Today she woke up and all her living room was filled with Daffodils and Lily flowers with lots of different colors.
Of course he brought daffodils.
Not only that but the living room ceiling was almost unseen as lots and lots of floating balloons covered it. The table was full with different types of chocolates and books and Lily couldn't help but gape in astonishment at how amazing Jason is.
He took birthday presents to a whole new level.
Her mother was beaming at her as she handed her a card from Jason.
Happy birthday, love.
I'm the luckiest man alive to have such an amazing, beautiful, stubborn, strong and caring flower as my girlfriend.
Life is so much tolerable with you in it. I owe you lots of my smiles and happiness. I'm so damn grateful for the fate that brought us together.
Everytime my eyes lay on you, my heart skips a beat. You take my breath away, and I can't wait to experience more memories with you.

Lily couldn't hold it together as tears ran down her cheeks. Her emotions were all over the place and she couldn't understand whether she was crying from happiness, nervousness, sadness or ... love.
Now that Jason texted her the overwhelming feeling to see him and hug him took over and she couldn't wait to see him.
A small part of her was nervous, because today... Today she's finally going to confess her secret to Jason.
Jason honked his car upon reaching Lily's house and Lily hurriedly tied her hair in a messy bun as she rushed downstairs.
She opened the door and was greeted by the heavenly sight of Jason in his trademark black attire. His legs were crossed as he leaned on the side of the car, waiting for Lily.
His hair was messily sitting on top of his head and he looked so damn good. His arms were crossed over his chest and his eyes were covered by black shades.
Jason's eyes snapped towards Lily when he heard the front door open and he inhaled a deep breath. Although Lily was wearing gray sweatpants and a plain white shirt with her messy bun, she absolutely looked beautiful to him.
Lily approached him nervously as he checked her out. Her not being able to see his eyes made her even more nervous if possible. She bit her lower lip in shyness and a small coat of redness coated her cheeks.
Jason purposely stayed laying back and waited to see what Lily's going to do.
"Hi" Lily greeted, rocking on her heels.
Jason kept staring silently and enjoyed her squirming under his gaze.
Lily looked up at Jason under her lashes and fiddled with her fingers. She couldn't understand why she's being so shy and nervous around him all of a sudden.
Jason smirked at her as she averted her eyes and licked her lips. Jason finally gave in and muttered a ' fucking adorable' under his breath.
He then pulled her towards his chest for a hug and Lily wrapped her arms around his torso.
"Happy birthday, baby"
"Thank you, Jasey. And thank you for the wonderful gifts you sent this morning. I loved it so much"
"That is nothing in comparison to what I have planned."
"There's more?! Jason, that's already a lot and so expensive. You shouldn't waste all that money on me"
"You deserve so much more and I will try and show you a glimpse of how precious you are. Nothing in this world can do you justice"
Lily had no words to explain how she felt. She felt on the top of the world this moment and she wanted it to last forever.
She hugged Jason tightly and squeezed him to the point he almost couldn't breathe. A stray tear escaped her eye and soon more tears slipped out.
She bit her tongue trying to suppress her hiccups, but she miserably failed. She was so sensitive today and she had every right to be.
Jason abruptly pulled back and cupped her face then removed his sunglasses before tilting her head upwards.
" Lily? Why are you crying, Fiore"
Lily sniffled and couldn't stop the next words from escaping her lips
" I love you".
Jason stiffened in his place and stared between Lily's eyes in shock.
"What?"
Jason couldn't believe his ears. Today was the first time he ever told her that he loved her, but it was through a card so it didn't count.
He might have not said it before, but he made sure he showed it through actions. He just didn't want to rush Lily, but now hearing those three words escaping her lips almost caused him a heart attack.
"I love you, Jasey. You're the best thing that ever happened to me"
"Did you just sa-"
"Yes, Jason. I love you so much"
"Say it again"
"I love you"
"Again"
Lily giggled as Jason wiped her tears and demanded her to repeat herself.
"I LOVE YOU"
Jason scooped Lily in his arm and twirled her around in happiness. A few seconds later he sat her back down and laid his forehead on hers with his eyes closed.
Opening them again he looked right into Lily's eyes and said the words that he was holding back for so long.
"I love you more, Fiore. I love you so very much, that I just want to shout it out loud for the whole word to hear."
"I love you most. You're god's gift to me"
"I love you infinitely".
Lily and Jason stayed wrapped around each other for a few minutes, savoring the moment. They both couldn't contain their excitement and happiness, and couldn't stop expressing their love for each other.
Jason's phone rang disturbing the peaceful silence and Jason groaned in annoyance.
"Yes?... Okay.. yes, mom"
Jason ended the call and sighed, opening the car's front door for Lily to get in.
" I have to go pick something for my mother, but before that I have strict orders to drop you at the salon to get ready. Your mother called me when I reached your house. We're already late and she's waiting for you and I'll probably get lectured for stalling the birthday girl"
"It's okay, Jasey bear, I'll defend you" Lily teased.
Jason was so tempted to kiss her right this second, but he didn't want to do it here. He has to be patient, everything has its own time and place.
"Call me that one more time I'll squish your face into your birthday cake"
"I'd like to see you try... Jasey bear"
"Oh, lotus, don't you know to never mess with the devil"
"You're so cheesy, you teddy bear"
"You're hair will be cheesy by tonight, daffodil"
"You wouldn't dare"
Jason, playfully, smirked at her evilly as he buckled her seat belt and whispered in her ears "watch your back, love".
