Lily took the whole week off to rest and get better. Jason would visit her daily after school, he even skipped school sometimes.
They would spend the whole time together watching movies or talking or baking something. Lily's parents didn't fail to notice how happy Jason seemed to make her.
Lily did tell her parents about Jason asking her to be his girlfriend, when they returned from the hospital. They were okay with it as long as Lily was happy.
Right now Jason was over at Lily's house and they were sprawled on the bed, having a Disney movies marathon. Tangled was playing, but Jason wasn't focused on it.
His head was tilted sideways as he watched Lily who was too engrossed in the movie to notice. How can someone be this perfect? And she's all mine.
That thought got him smiling like he just won the lottery.
But Jason couldn't help that feeling of guilt and worry. How would Lily react if she knew his whole family was in the mafia? Will she hate him?
His smile turned into a frown as quick as that thought came to his mind.
Lily laughed at the some scene of Maximus and Flynn then looked over at Jason only to find him staring at her and lost in his own mind.
"Jason, are you okay?"
"Huh, yeah I'm fine"
"Why are you frowning? Are you bored? We can change the movie if you want or maybe do something else"
"No no , I was just thinking of something. It's all good"
"Are you sure?"
"Positive"
"Should we order some food? I'm so hungry"
"Better yet let's go get food. You haven't been outside since a couple of days, some fresh air would be nice for you"
"That's perfect! I'll go get dressed"
As Lily picked her clothes and went into the bathroom to get ready, Jason opened his phone and answered some of his texts.
Soon enough they were buckled in and headed towards Maxdonald's to grab a bite. The car ride was full with comfortable silence, but that changed as Lily connected her phone and 'Meddle about' by Chase Atlantic burst through the speakers.
Lily was full on singing and shaking her head with a big smile on her face. She looked over at Jason who was laughing at her whilst she played her imaginary guitar.
"WE ONLY MET EACH OTHER JUST THE OTHER DAY, BUT YOU ALREADY GET ME FEELING SOME TYPE OF WAY!"
Lily sang out loud in her also imaginary microphone while pointing at Jason then she placed her hand in front of his mouth motioning for him to continue.
"If I could figure it out, I'd take you back to my house so we can meddle about" Jason sang , not as loud as Lily, but the wink he added at the end was more than enough.

With a full tummy and ice cream in hand, Jason and Lily strolled down the park as they enjoyed the peaceful night.
"Let's stargaze" Lily stopped in her tracks after finishing the ice cream and layed down on her back.
Jason, who was still standing up, hovered over Lily as he stared down at her laying figure. Lily looked back at him with confusion, waiting for him to join her.
"Jasey, as much as I like looking at your beautiful face, you're blocking the star view"
Jason shaked his head upon hearing this and sighed before giving in and laying beside Lily. They were laying down in the middle of the park on the green grass.
Jason accidentally sat on a few strands of Lily's hair and she hissed in pain.
"Sorry"
"You're lucky you just fed me or else I would've bitten your cheeks"
"Face cheeks or ass cheeks"
"Butt cheeks , duh" Jason's smirk dropped as he looked at her beautiful side profile with amusement dancing in his eyes.
"You're so naughty, Fiore"
"I was just kidding"
"Mhm yeah I'm sure you were"
"Pfft, now stop staring at my double chin and look up" Lily said, titling Jason's head so that he was now looking at the clear night sky.
"Nah I was staring at you big nose"
"If that's your concept of big than I have some bad news for you, buddy"
"Oh yeah? Wanna bet?"
"No thanks" Lily chuckled nervously and Jason smirked at that.
The sky was sparkling with billions of stars and Lily turned her gaze to Jason who was already looking at her.
"It's called star gazing not Lily gazing"
"What can I do you're a way better view"
Lily was thankful for the darkness or else Jason would've seen her red cheeks. She can't help it, she blushes easily and her pale skin doesn't help.
"You know I've never seen a shooting star"
Lily sat straight when she heard that and looked down at Jason with shock. Jason couldn't understand why she reacted that way, a lot of people didn't see one, right?
"Are you serious? Not even once"
"Nope"
"That's sad"
"Why? A lot of people didn't see one"
"I know, but it's such a nice thing to see. You obviously don't stare up at the sky a lot, because personally I have seen it so many times"
"Yeah I don't usually get to star gaze , miss sky lover"
"How do you know that I love the sky" Lily asked while she layed back down.
"That's too obvious, you're obsessed with stars and clouds and sunsets. Every time you see a beautiful sunset or moon or whatever your eyes beams with happiness. And also the amount of pictures you take of the sky is insane"
"Aren't you observant?"
"Only when it comes to you"
Lily scooted closer to Jason and hugged him as he placed an arm under her head and placed a kiss on her forehead.
"You're my favorite person, Jasey"
Jason's chest was filled with joy and happiness. He wrapped his other arm around her and placed another kiss on top of Lily's head.
"You're my favorite person too, Fiore"
"Lily " Jason said after a few minutes of silence.
"Hm?" Lily replied as she was slowly drifting into sleep.
"I have to tell you something... I - My family owns The Empire Mafia."
Jason waited for Lily to jump away from him or be sad or anything, but she just stayed quiet.
"Lily? Say something"
And still no reply.
"Lily?" Jason questioned and looked down at her only to find her fast asleep.
Jason shook his head in amusement, he couldn't understand how she could just fall asleep this fast anywhere and anytime.
He got a deja vu from the day they met. She just fell asleep around a stranger in the middle of nowhere. That's definitely a bad habit they need to work on fixing.
"Lil, Fiore, lotus, daffodil .. wake up you sleepy head"
Jason tried to wake Lily up for the past five minutes, but to no avail. She was such a heavy sleeper.
Finally, he gave up on getting her to wake up and stood up, carrying her as usual and headed towards the car. He placed her in the front seat and buckled her up before going to his seat and starting the car.
As Jason was driving Lily back home, Lily suddenly woke up and screamed out loud. Jason got started and the car swerved a bit, but Jason managed to control it.
He stopped the car on the side of the road and turned around towards Lily calming her down.
"Shh Lily it's okay, you're okay. You're with me , Jason"
"Jason" Lily whispered with one of her hands placed on her heart.
"Yes, what happened?"
"I'm sorry"
"It's okay, don't apologize"
"I just, I don't know. I woke up and thought there's an earthquake" (A/N: Us all the day , every day ð)
"Go back to sleep"
"How did I even end up here?"
"You, daffodil have a bad habit of falling asleep without being aware of your surroundings"
"I fell asleep, again?"
"Yup"
"And you carried me?"
"No I dragged you by your legs"
" Such a sunshine you are"
"Mhm"
"You know what I dreamed of?"
"What did you dream of?"
"I dreamt that you said you're in the mafia and some action things happened" Lily chuckled at that and Jason gulped.
"That's because I actually did"
"Don't be silly, Jasey"
"I'm not"
"Yeah yeah, now shush I want to sleep"
Lily smiled at his silliness. Jason in the mafia? There's no way. Although he would be a great fit, did you see how he looks and his cold personality?
He's always glaring at everything and anyone, except her of course, he always wore black. He was rich and always seemed to get into fights and get away with it.
Jason looked back at Lily who was snuggled to the chair with a soft smile on her face. She didn't believe him. How would he tell her about this again ? He was dreading just the thought of it.
