On Monday morning, and before the school started, the King's family gathered around the table to have breakfast as always.
They all sat down waiting for Sophia to join them, but the little girl had the urge to pee right before they started eating.
Seriously why do kids do this all the time.
"Did you see what happened to those mother fuckers that dared to mess with us" Brent said proudly.
"Mind your language, Brent" His mother scolded him.
A small smirk threatened to show on Jason's face, but he managed to hide it, not wanting to get caught.
"Yeah I guess karma got to them, the whole gang was killed according to the police" Mason added.
"But who did this though?" Luke asked.
"Who gives a shit? They're dead and out of our hair" Cole butted in.
"Cole!" His mother scolded him for the word choice.
Elizabeth never liked this lifestyle of violence, but she was raised in one and she loved her husband dearly. She got used to these talks and the fact that her kids will grow and die in this world.
Though she didn't want her youngest and only daughter to be involved or included in these talks. She wanted her to enjoy her innocence as much as she could.
She didn't have that in her childhood and she didn't want her daughter to go through the same thing as her.
Sometimes it's a bliss to stay in the dark.
She tried as much as she could to shelter her sons as long as she could but those little monkeys were too smart for their own good.
As they all discussed the incident back and forth between them, their father, Alexander, was watching his rebellious son.
He noticed how Jason kept silent when usually he would leave a comment about these topics. But instead he was quiet and kinda looked proud with that smirk he was trying to hide.
He was one hundred percent sure Jason had a hand in this, but he didn't question him. Although he was really curious to know how he managed to get them all in the warehouse and blow them up.
"Enough with this topic now kids, Sophia will be down soon, no such things in front of her '' Alexander silenced them seconds before Sophia entered the dining room.
"Finally! Thank god the princess finished pissing" Alex exclaimed loudly.
His mother sighed and shook her head at the way these boys speak.
"It's not called p-i-s-i-n-g silly, it's tinkling. Right mommy?" Sophia asked innocently.
"Yes, honey, you're right"
"You spelled it wrong idiot" Elijah flicked her nose.
"Stop it Lijah!" Sophia hissed with annoyance.
"Brat" Will coughed.
Sophia was the most spoiled girl by her brothers and parents. They all loved her dearly and would die for her.
The boys like to tease her and rile her up, but isn't that what siblings are for?
Sophia, who was seated next to Jason, pouted and looked at her parents for help, but they were already talking together about god knows what.
They're used to this all the time.
"Jasey, tell them to stop " Sophia slightly pulled on his shirt and looked up at him with her pleading puppy eyes.
Jason sighed, how could he ever ignore those eyes?
"Shut the fuck up idiots and leave her the fuck alone" Jason warned his three youngest brothers, but made sure his parents don't hear his colorful vocabulary.
Sophia smiled at him happily and motioned for him to come closer.
"I won't tell mommy and daddy that you said a bad word"
Sophia tried to whisper, but in reality what Jason heard was a mix of breathing and unclear words. Somehow he understood what she said and whispered "you're welcome, princess".
Jason was caught off guard when she held both his cheeks and placed a kiss on the one facing her.
"Awww, look at Jasey being all sweet and cute" Alex mocked.
"Shut the fuck up" Jason said, throwing a peace of bread on his face.
Their mother sighed and shook her head "I can't deal with these boys anymore".
Her husband smiled and placed a kiss on her hand "Come on kiddos, school is starting soon"

Lily set inside the cafeteria right next to the window that overlooked the garden where she and Jason would usually sit.
Today was one of those rainy days so obviously she couldn't sit out there. Her eyes followed a drop of rain that was slowly sliding down the window.
"Good morning" Jason grabbed her attention as he slid into the chair in front of her.
"Morning" A smile lit her face.
Throughout the night and the next day after their date, Lily couldn't stop her mind from replaying the date over and over.
It was perfect in every way.
"Why were you looking so grumpy like my grandpa, Fiore?"
"I was not. I just don't like sitting here with all this noises, I prefer sitting outside in the fresh air, surrounded with the calmness of nature"
"How poetic, daffodil" Jason said sarcastically.
"Shut up"
"Tsk tsk, how many times do I have to tell you not to tell me that hmm?"
"I will when you stop being so mean"
"I should punish you"
"I- what?" A confused and kinda flustered look showed up on Lily's face.
"Lily"
"Yes?"
"Stop being so cute"
Lily didn't know how to react, her feelings were all over the place as butterflies went crazy inside her stomach, even her heart.
Blood rushed to Lily's cheeks and she blushed in return.
Jason chuckled at the flustered girl that was sitting in front of him " Fucking adorable"
"Jasonnn"
"What?"
"Stop it" Lily covered her cheeks in an attempt to cool them down.
Jason smirked at her and stood up offering her his hand.
"Where are we going?"
"Outside, let's go on a walk before class starts"
"But it's raining?"
"It's only a soft drizzle now"
"Okay" Lily smiled at him.
Lily seemed to always have a smile around Jason and she didn't mind it a bit. She also loved how Jason has opened up to her more and seems to be more lively than he was when she first met him.
The Jason that she met a couple of weeks ago would never voluntarily offer to go on a walk, let alone a walk under the rain.
A gust of wind blew on their faces the second they got outside and a shiver ran through Lily's body. The light droplets of rain caressed her face and instantly gave her a sense of peace.
You know that breath of fresh air in the rainy sky where the ground just smells like .. soil and rain. It's hard to explain but you get it right? It just gives a calm aura.
Jason watched Lily as she closed her eyes and tilted her head up taking in a long deep breath.
How could someone possibly be this beautiful and look this innocent? He couldn't keep his eyes off of her.
Silence surrounded them as they walked around, but it wasn't an awkward silence, more like comfortable silence as they enjoyed each other's company.
Suddenly the water droplets increased in number as rain started falling heavily soaking them within seconds.
"Shit, run" Jason shouted over the loud sound of rain as he grabbed Lily's hand and pulled her towards the school entrance.
But Lily wasn't having it. She dug her feet to the ground and pulled Jason back.
"What are you doing?"
"We're already wet, let's just enjoy it"
"You'll get sick"
"Maybe. Can we dance?"
Lily asked out of the blue and Jason looked back at her with a mix of shock and confusion.
Lily didn't wait for his answer as she placed her hands around his neck. Jason blinked twice before he finally managed to get himself together.
He wrapped his hands around her waist and pulled her closer to him. Lily was getting more and more comfortable and confident around Jason.
He made her feel beautiful and pretty.
His hands, that she shamelessly admired from time to time, were placed around her waist making her feel like her heart was about to explode.
She felt safe in them.
Lily's head rested on his chest as he moved one of his hands to her upper back and swayed with her. The sight of them wrapped around each other while swaying and with the rain falling on them was a scene out of a movie.
"Lily" Jason lowered his head and whispered into her ears.
"Yes?"
"Will you make the happiest guy ever and be my girlfriend?"
Lily stilled and her head tilted up until she was staring into Jason's eyes that were full with sincerity and adoration. That look was capable of making her faint with all those strong emotions swirling in them.
Jason held his breath as he nervously waited for her answer.
A smile broke up on Lily's face for the umpteenth time today as she couldn't contain her happiness.
"I would love to be your girlfriend"
Jason's face also broke up into a smile as he hugged her and twirled her around. Lily held onto him tightly and laughter escaped her lips in happiness.
Today was another unforgettable day, and this was becoming normal since she met Jason.
