After hearing the doctorâs words, Kaylah got to know that Hendry hurt his head.
âHe hurt his head? How is that possible?â
Kaylah checked Hendryâs head and then saw the blood on it.
âDonât worry. It doesnât hurt. I think I just got cut by a piece of glass in the bar.

âWhy didnât you tell me that you were injured? You didnât even want to go to the
hospital. You hurt your head! What if the wound gets infected?â

âDonât worry. I promise Iâll be honest with you forever!â
The doctor near them felt awkward when hearing that.
âWell, weâll figure that out later. You need to have a CT scan now!â
Kaylah insisted that Hendry should stay in the hospital for a few days.
They soon got the result of the CT scan.
Hendry had a slight concussion. Fortunately, he was sent to the hospital in time,
otherwise, his nervous system might have been affected.
Kaylah breathed a sigh of relief when she heard what the doctor said.
Kaylah was grateful that she didnât listen to Hendry and insisted that he should
go to the hospital. Otherwise, Hendryâs condition might get worse.
Kaylah frowned when looking at Hendry, who was wearing a hospital gown and
lying on the bed.
âYou need to have some rest here. You can let Chad help you deal with the
affairs of the company. I gotta go!â
Seeing that Kaylah was about to leave, Hendry immediately sat up, lifted the
quilt, and was about to get out of bed.
âWhat are you doing? The doctor said that you need to take a rest!â
Kaylah rushed forward and forced Hendry to lie on the bed again.
âSo are you going to leave me?â

Hendry was happy when he found Kaylah worried about him. But now he felt
bitter at heart.

of me while I stay in the hospital?â
Hendry didnât intend to let Kaylah look after him from the outset. But now he
realized that she wouldnât want to get close to him again if he didnât create more
chances to stay with her.
Hendry could tell Kaylah was reluctant to stay here when she heard his words.
âI can hire some caregivers for you. I believe they can take very good care of
you!â
Hendryâs friends and acquaintances didnât know what type of relationship
between him and Mila was. Kaylah just wanted to stay out of the way.
