Chapter 105 Mikayla found Jerome quite amusing.

He should’ve stayed with Kylie after escorting her, but instead he came back to her.

“Jerome, don’t you ever get tired of doing this?” Mikayla asked.

“Do you want to start a fight this early in the morning?”

Mikayla ignored him and got out of bed.

“You leaked the news about our divorce, didn’t you? All this to make a profit from Ansoft. I really underestimated you.”

Although she wasn’t the one that leaked the news, she tried to make it look like she did.

So Jerome was partially right about it.

“You seem upset? What’s the matter? Weren’t we about to get divorced? Are you regreting it?”

Jerome glanced at her coldly.

“Are you hearing what you said? I just can’t stand watching you use your identity as Mrs. Miller to get attention for yourself.”

After saying that, Jerome walked to the bathroom. His expression was solemn.

Betty laughed. “I’m calling to tell you that Ansoft’s new product have gone beyond our expectation. People are giving us good reviews, and businesses are looking to collaborate with us.”

Before she went to sleep, people online were still mocking her for getting drunk.

But she managed to divert everyone’s attention to the bottle of wine in her hand instead.

She asked Betty, “Are you at Ansoft? I’ll come to look for you now.”

Then, she went to the room next door to freshen up.

She put on a simple make up, took her purse, and headed downstairs.

Jerome had already dressed up and was sitting at the dining table.

“Madam, you’re awake. How are you feeling?” Amy asked out of concern.

Thinking that Amy was asking about her getting drunk, Mikayla assured her, “Don’t worry, I’m fine.”

“That’s good. I’ve made some soup for both of you. You could easily use an extra serving. After all, it was a rough night for you.”
