Chapter 27 Wilson Family

Harris hesitated for a while and said, “Someone is secretly cleaning up Lillian’s traces, obstructing the investigation. Currently, I have only found a deep connection between Lillian and the Fels Group.”

“That’s all you got?” Zachary angrily hung up the phone and paced slowly in the corridor.

“It is true that I have found very little information. The chairman of the Fels Group is Ocean Wilson, and he has two sons, with the eldest being Ashton Wilson. Ms. Wilson may share the same surname, but she is not the legitimate daughter of the Wilson family.”

“Has any investigation been conducted on the collateral branches?”

After hanging up the phone, Zachary frowned and walked in the hospital corridor, contemplating.

The Regal Group has been on a downhill slope in recent years, with a corrupt and chaotic company. If it weren’t for their core cinema resources, Zachary would never have cooperated with such a gradually declining company!

Diana, of course, was not a good person, deceived many young girls with dreams of becoming

stars.

The man around Lillian was even worse.

As she spoke, her lips stung, making her very uncomfortable. She couldn’t help but curse Zachary in her heart.

Her snow–white fingers tapped on the car window, and her expression became increasingly impatient.

She must show Zachary a little bit of her anger!

Back home, she lazily slumped on the sofa.

“Aw…” Ashton’s voice, pretending to be terrifying, sounded.

Lillian looked

up and realized that it was Ashton wearing a large shark doll costume, making her

laugh speechlessly.

“Ashton, I’m not a five–year–old child, and neither are you!”

Ashton took off the doll costume’s head, his forehead, and his short hair, already covered in sweat. “Baby, you’ve been gloomy recently.”

Lillian lazily rested on Ashton’s thigh, yawning.

“I’m really fine. You’re just making a fuss.”

“Hmph, you’ve never suffered such a big loss since you were little. If it were someone else, they would have been dead.” Ashton was very unhappy.

“When he was paralyzed, you took care of him without any hesitation. Even a wolf would not bite back as hard as him.”

Lillian touched her still–stinging lips, feeling even worse.

“Don’t mention him!”

“Okay, I won’t mention him anymore.” Ashton quickly appeased her.

She fell asleep on Ashton’s leg, and when she was sound asleep, Ashton carefully carried her to the bed.

The next morning, she changed into a white suit, stepped into three–inch high heels, and energetically rushed to the Regal Group.

Diana was very displeased but still stood in the company lobby with his subordinates, waiting for Lillian to arrive.

“Now that everyone is here, let’s have a meeting.”
