"I was planing on doing this every night until you remembered me, and came to me. But you came today, and you were dress for the occasion without knowing my plans, you are definitely my soul mate." He said smiling at me and when he said my, my body tingled with the need to get closer to him, and I felt my body become hot.
His nose flared, his eyes darkened as he approached me like a predator ready to pounce on me any minute, and that made my heart beat a mile a minute. When he was close enough to the point that our bodies were molded together, sending shocks of electricity through my body. I felt tingles on my ear when his breath tickled it teasingly. "I was going to woo you over diner, but I can't hold on anymore, I've been waiting for you for way more than a month. I love you mi amor, and I'm going to show you how much." He said huskily, and I shuddered, knowing full well where this was going, and I couldn't care less, I wanted this, I wanted him.

Epilogue
ââââââââââââââââââ
I woke up with a huge grin on my face, today was the day, and my body was tingling with excitement. I hadn't seen Salvador for a week, he had to go to hell to take care of some things, he didn't tell me what, but I didn't care much to ask, it was his business, not mine.
I took a shower, put some comfortable clothes on, and ate breakfast before heading to Ava's house. I had found out later on that year that she was a demon, and it shocked me because she was so nice, and what I found totally ironic, was the fact that she was Gabriel's mate, and even though she was nice, she avoids him like the plague. But there are a few moments when she gets caught up in the mating pull and ends up kissing him, or in a compromising position when I find them.
The terrorist attack, from when I woke up was just a cover story that the angels drilled in the humans to keep them from knowing about what really happened. The news about me died down, but people still notice me as a hero because they have a tribute about me in the library, city hall, anywhere public really.
Ava is supposed to help me get ready, to make sure I look stunning for my big day. What big day? Well, Salvador proposed to me three months after we were officially going out, and now a year of planning, and the big day was finally here. The way he proposed was so sweet and crazy at the same time, we were having a party at his house, and then Ava kept pestering us to go outside, and so I did.
I was looking outside and saw nothing so I looked at Ava and she pointed to the sky, and then I saw the sign with the words 'Will You Marry Me?' written on it, and next thing I knew, Salvador was coming down from the sky, letting me know that he just skydived. He had landed gracefully and unhooked the parachute and then he got on one knee, opening the black box in his hand. "Will you be with me forever, and keep me on a leash like you always do, forever and ever?" He said smiling at me, and I laughed at his words and shook my head furiously.
That is what led me to be in Ava's house as she and the other nurses helped me get ready for the wedding. I was standing up as Lacey, tied the corset in the back and Marissa put the white pumps on my feet. I loved my dress so much, it was white, the top part was a white corset with a sweat heart top, and there was lace over the silk, with flower sequence in the lace. The dress would look plain to anyone else but on me, it complemented so well.
After Lacey felt like the dress was suffocating me enough, she led me to a chair where Naika would do my hair and Marissa would do my makeup. I was so frustrated because I wanted to see what I looked like while she was doing my hair, but both Naika and Marissa refused to let me see until I was done.
I finally felt something on my shoulder, and the pinch in my hair, let me know that the veil was on, and Marissa had stopped probing my face. I heard collective gasps as I opened my eyes and faced everyone, they gushed over me like I was the cutest puppy they've seen. I just simply rolled my eyes and turned to look at myself in the body-length mirror and I gasped.
I couldn't believe that the ugly duckling, me, had turned into a beautiful swan. My hair was up in a bun with my hair curled and pinned in by diamonds, the veil fit perfectly in the bun. I had light makeup on, that made me almost look innocent, with the pink bush and light pink lip gloss.
I felt hot tears ready to pour out of my eyes, but I fanned my eyes and put my head up to stop the tears from ruining my makeup, and all my friends awed. "Alright, let's go we don't want to be late now do we?" Ava asked as she handed me the white lilies, and we all went into the limo that was waiting for us outside with Gabriel. Since I didn't have a father to walk me down the aisle, I had asked Gabriel if he would do me the honor of doing and he had responded with, 'no, it would be his honor'.
We finally arrived in front of Salvador's house, we had decided that since his house and yard were big enough, we would have the wedding and reception there. I stepped out of the vehicle, squeezing the stems of the flowers as my heartbeat erratically. "It's OK to be nervous, but you don't need to worry because he loves you very much," Gabriel whispered in my ear as he put my hand on his arm.
The music started playing right on queue when everyone was in line. All the bridesmaids went first in pairs with their boyfriends, and for a second I felt bad for taking Ava's partner, and when she saw the look I gave her, she smiled at me reassuringly and then walked. Now it was the little girl from the hospital, Lainey, to throw down the flower petals as she walked, and then it was my turn.
I put the veil over my face and took a deep breath as I took the first step. My heart was beating erratically in my chest as I stared at my soon-to-be husband, that was staring back at me in adoration. I would never get used to that look and now Gabriel was handing me to Salvador.
Salvador took my hand softly to help me get onto the mini stage. And then the priest, well not really a priest since Salvador's the devil, but something along the lines.
"Do you Salvador Lican, take Brooke Lieberman, as your wife and soul mate, for as long as you live?"
"I do." He said as he slid the ring on my finger.
"Do you Brooke Lieberman, take Salvador Lican, as your husband and soul mate, for as long as you live?"
"I do," I said with a goofy grin as I slid the gold band onto his finger.
"By the power invested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife." That was all he had to say before Salvador lifted the veil and looked at me with love as he captured my lips into a heated kiss, and after a minute, someone cleared their throat so we separated.
During the reception, Ava decided that she would give Gabriel a chance, but even though she did, she wouldn't stop being stubborn. After the reception, Salvador and I were ready to take the flight to our honeymoon in Jamaica. Our bags were already in the car since we would be taking Salvador's private jet there.
All I know is during the flight, I just kept smiling like the Cheshire cat, at the fact that this sexy man was going to be mine forever, and something else also crept into my mind. Something so dirty, I don't even think that Clorox could clean it. I was definitely on edge, waiting for the time when we stopped acting all lovey-dovey and then turn into savage animals, from not seeing each other for a week.
I grinned at Salvador and he smirked, knowing full well what was going through my mind, and I knew it took as much self-control as it took me, to not pounce on each other on the plane.
"I love you hubby," I said as I pecked him on the lips.
"I love you to wifey." He pecked my lips, and then came back and captured my lips in a passionate kiss.
My heart swelled from the show of affection and I knew from there on out, I wouldn't be able to live without this man by my side.
