The head of security tried to listen to what was going on inside. He couldn’t hear a thing owing to the impeccable sound proof design. In addition, the mansions here were designed in a way to make it very difficult to climb up to the second floor.

“Who are you?” came fjs’s angry voice from upstairs following by some fighting noises. Hu Ruiyang finally couldn't help but rushed inside and Shu Yan followed behind him.

They saw that Hu Ruixue was lying in bed, topless. Luckily she still have her pants her. Shu Yan quickly took her jacket off and placed it over her.

“Ruixue, it’s alright now. We are here to save you.”

Hu Ruixue’s parted some and tears streamed down her cheeks. She wasn’t able to say a word.

“What’s going on?” Shu Yan was anxious when she saw that.

Hu Ruiyang, who was beating up Ji Fansheng, heard Shu Yan. He gave him one more kick before he walked over and picked up Hu Ruixue. “I’ll take her to the hospital.”

“I’ll go with you.” She turned to say to Feng Zeyu after taking a few steps, “Gauge yourself. Don’t kill the man.”

“Don’t worry. I know what I am doing.” Feng Zeyu nodded.

Hu Ruixue started losing consciousness on their way to the hospital. Her body temperature was abnormally high and Shu Yan was so worried that she was about to start crying.

“Ruixue, Ruixue, open your eyes. Don’t fall asleep just yet. We are almost at the hospital.” Shu Yan grabbed her hand tightly and tears rolled down her cheeks.

Crackling sound could be heard coming from Hu Ruiyang’s fists. He only wished he could go back and kill Ji Fansheng.

The hospital was already expecting them. As soon as they arrived, they immediately brought Hu Ruixue inside for checkup. The laboratory result came out quickly and the doctor came over with the report.

“We received the lab result already. Miss Hu had been injected with a new form of drugs. It is also a form of hallucinogen. Users would feel weak and their temperature would go up. Their brain would be in an excited state.”

Hu Ruiyang’s eyes reddened and his voice hoarse. “Will there be any sequelae?”

“Luckily, Miss Hu did not have a very large dose. There will not be any sequelae but she would feel weak for a day or so.” The doctor reassured them that they did not need to be too worried. They had already given Hu Ruixue some medications and she should wake up that evening.

Mother and Father Hu rushed over when they heard the news. This was Shu Yan’s first time seeing them. She didn’t think they would meet under such circumstances.

“How’s Xiao Xue?” asked Mother Hu nervously.

“The doctor said she is fine now and will be waking up shortly,” said Shu Yan quickly.

Mother Hu wiped away her tears and held Shu Yan’s hand. “Thank you so much. I didn’t even know that something had happened to Xiao Xue had you not called me. Here I thought he was a decent guy. It was lucky that Xiao Xue didn’t listen to me. If they were together, I’d be the culprit of pushing Xiao Xue into that situation.”

“You shouldn’t think that, Aunty. You only had Xiao Xue’s best interest in mind. Besides, Ji Fansheng hid it too well. Who knew he was capable of such a thing?” Even she started thinking that he may not be half bad.
