She lived in the little distract over by City Bei Road; it was a pretty decent area. Her husband was a manager at a small clothing factory. The name of the factory was somewhat familiar. Shu Yan thought about it long and hard. Wasnât this one of Zhang Baizongâs factory? Did that mean Zhu Hungâs husband got into this factory through Le?
Lao Hu was good. He didnât only find out the relationship between Le and Zhang Baizong; he also found evidence of Zhu Hungâs husbandâs other shady business. He had purposefully labeled some clothing as defected and Zhu Hungâs little brother was the one to take care of these defected products. Finally, these clothing ended up in Zhu Hungâs shop and sold as high-end menâs clothing.
Now it all made sense. She was wondering how a little manager at a factory was able to buy new house and open up a shop for his wife. Now she knew where the money came from.
Shu Yan didnât read these before nor did she plan on doing so. Her target had always been Le. Problem was, that Zhu Hung person was strange; she insisted on getting herself involved. Well, if thatâs the case, Shu Yan must strike back so she wasnât thought of as a softie.
It was still early in the day so Shu Yan had Ye Jingjing help her brother take a bath while she went downstairs to give Hu Ruixue a call.
âWell, well, well. What made you think of me today?â Hu Ruixue chuckled. She thought Shu Yan would have call her right away after finding out her background but she hasnât heard from Shu Yan until now.
âHave you already taken over your ex-husbandâs factory?â asked Shu Yan directly.
âWe are transitioning it right now. Why? Whatâs up?â asked Hu Ruixue curiously.
âOne of the guys at your factory was placed there by Le. Iâm not sure if you remember his wife. She was the one who said she was blind when Le asked her for help the other day on West City Nan Road.â Shu Yan did not beat around the bush. âI have some evidence of her husband scheming the factory.â
âI see what you are saying now.â Hu Ruixue didnât continue the subject. âThe transition is about to complete and I plan on running it myself afterward. The clothing factory used to manufacture menâs clothing, but I plan on switching it to womenâs clothing. That interests me more. I donât think I have mentioned it before, but I studied art in college and have always been interested in clothing design. Well? Are you interested in working with me on it?â
Shu Yan was baffled by the convoluted way of getting to her point. She thought Hu Ruixue was excitedly sharing with her her newest plans; how did that become the two of them working together?
âWhat do you mean?â
âZhang Baizongâs clothing factory is pretty decent. It has about 20 â 30 workers right now. I plan to expand it some and start my own brand. I have seen the clothes at your shop last time. Build her own brand? Shu Yan found Hu Ruixueâs suggestion very tempting. Sheâd be lying if she said she had no ambition when it came to her own career after she was transmigrated to this era. Having two children with her, however, limited her options.
âI have two children and just this one shop was keeping me busy enough. Iâm afraid I wonât have the time to work with you on a factory. Besides, you donât need to work with me. Besides, she didnât have the capital to join force with Hu Ruixue either.
