Chapter 45- big reveal.

"The butterfly's he used to give me turned into little feet."

I wake up a tad bit uncomfortable but today's the gender reveal a really important day, I even missed school for this. The good thing is Damian can finally stop bothering poor gen and Ethan. Yep they're the ones planning everything it took 3 whole months but everything's ready.

I thought they would never finish planning I mean I'm already 6 months what's the hold up am I right.

I get up as fast as I can and walk to the restroom to brush my teeth. "Rosaline" Damian yells out. I groan and make a face at the door. "Yes?" Immediately he marches in with his hands crossed.

"I made food downstairs you want me to bring it up?" He questions feeling my belly. I scowl at him but slowly nod. For the past 2 weeks it's been hectic and we haven't been able to do the devils tangle and he's just been looking so good It makes me furious.

I walk downstairs carefully with Damian trailing just behind me playing with the ends of my hair.

I pour a glass of orange juice and place it next to my pancakes then grab my Nutella jar and sit happily. Once I start munching Damian sits right next to me a small smile on his face. My eyebrows furrow as I look at him.

"What?" I question licking off the Nutella from my spoon. He shakes his head and takes a drink of my orange juice. "You have chocolate all over your lips" he chuckles. I grab a napkin to wipe my mouth but instead he grips my chin and turns me to him.

His lips capture mine and his tongue glides against my bottom lip then goes in. After a few seconds Damian slowly pulls away giving my lips one last smooch and leaving me scowling.

"You're making me horny" I mumble moving the egg around with my fork. Damian shrugs "fuck me then" he chides smirking and walking to the fridge. I take a breath then turn towards him "Excuse me" I ask glaring at his head. Damians eyes go wide and he looks to my stomach. "My bad- frick" he mumbles.

I nod in approval then finish up my food and help him wash our dishes. Once we're done we head to the couch to watch a bit of television before we have to get ready. "You know for my bachelorette party I'm gonna have strippers" I speak my thoughts up to Damian who's currently invested on the show I put on.

"Who?" He questions glancing between me and the tv. I chuckle and tap his shoulder "you, I'm hiring you to be my personal stripper" I'll even get him a pole. He rolls his eyes then calls buddy and benji over to lay with us but only benji comes.

Buddy's been acting strangely when I call he doesn't come he's always hiding behind the couch or something. I get up and go find him in a corner just starring at me.

Slowly I scoot towards him and lay his head on my lap. "What's wrong?" I whisper petting his head. Buddy whines a little then stands and walks slowly to the couch, once he's on he licks Damians cheek.

I head back over and get comfortable alongside buddy. "We need to take him to the vet Dude my poor doggy probably ate something bad" I tell Damian. I look to his face and he's just starring at buddy with his eyebrows furrowed then nods.

Well okay then.

We watch a few episodes of friends then end up watching twilight. Again my favorite movie.

Damian loves it too I'm sure he's just a tad embarrassed to admit. I shove a cookie in my mouth and suddenly crave a pickle. "I'll be back" I tell Damian then pause the show. Once I'm in the kitchen I grab the pickles then speed walk to the couch.

"We should probably get ready they'll expect us in about an hour" he reminds me turning off the tv. I nod and put up the snacks then head up to shower.

After I've finished I slip on my cute blue outfit and some sandals then wait for Damian downstairs. The theme is dress what you think the gender is and I think- i think I just like the color blue.

Damian is fixated on a boy, he's so sure last week he hired someone to fix the nursery as a dinosaur theme. It was cute but still I was a tad bit annoyed.

"You ready?" Damian interrupts my thoughts and I nod with a smile resting on my face taking in his bright blue shirt.

"Where's the dogs?" I ask looking around. After my shower I didn't see much of them. "genesis came for them" my eyebrows furrow and he turns back to me. "Did you know she had a key?" He questions. I grin evilly "nope" yes. In fact I gave it to her.

He throws a blanket on my head covering me up and hugs me wrapping it around then gives my opened neck a few kisses before removing the blanket leaving my hair all messy.

He's pushing my buttons.

"I love you" he tells me looking into my eyes. I scowl and fix my hair. "I don't like you dude I just fixed my hair" I grumbles combing it down through my fingers. "You look hot" he shrugs off. "You look horrible" I'm fibbing he looks extra handsome.

"As long as you love me" he smirks. I turn my head slightly acting confuzzled "who said I did?" If buddy was here he'll surely be laughing.

"Cut the bull let's go" I chuckle and interlace our hands swinging them while walking to his truck.

We get to my aunts house and I shoot gen a text telling her we've arrived. I wait a few seconds before receiving a thumbs up telling us to head in.

As soon as I walk in I'm met with boy or girl on the wall then a table with blue and pink cookies Hershey's with the she part colored in pink and on others the he in blue.

Overall it looks fricking awesome. I find gen and hug her. "Thank you for this" I point in a circle around the room and keep the tears at bay. "Anything for you and my favorite niece" she winks.

Out of no where Damian comes in and thanks her while shoving a blue cookie in his mouth. "Dude at least eat first" I scold him then drag him to the kitchen. We get pasta and eat it all up going back for seconds.

There's more food but I really only want pasta and Damian hates trying new things. He's weird.

"Hi mija look how much she's growing in there" my uncle comes up to me and points to my stomach. I chuckle and nod my head up and down like a bobble head. "Yea she's getting real big" i tell him rubbing my belly.

"He" a specific someone mumbles out pretending to be picking at his food. My uncle chuckles before telling me he's going to find my aunt and he'll see us later.

Damian and I say hi to a few people and finally meet up with our friends.

"Bestie oh my fuck you've gotten so much bigger since I last saw you" josh yells from across the room running towards me. I put my finger to my lip telling him to shush and he uses his hand to wave me off.

"Hey I've missed your presence" I tell him giving him a side hug. "I mean who wouldn't- but any who that's not important we need to discuss serious matters" he whispers the last part and grabs my wrist.

I look over to Damian and he's mouthing 'kick him' then glaring at my friend. Josh sees him and flips him off before giving my cheek a kiss. Immediately after he runs out in the small crowd while Damian chases him.

I shake my head chuckling at the two and walk over to Sam, Ethan, Jake and aiden. "Hey frickers" I greet.

They all say a quick hello and continue their conversation on a case while I listen in. "But how the fuck is it possible that no one saw a suspicious car parked on the side of the rode carrying a body it was daylight" Ethan grumbles shaking his head.

"Yea and there was no fingerprint, no fallen hair, no sweat for fucks sake it's hot out there with the distance the body was buried to where the car was parked he had to have sweated" Jake chimes in.

"What happened?" I ask them. Jake turns to me and shakes his head. "Someone killed a little boy last week and now they've got ahold of a new kid we think it's the same guy" he mumbles.

Poor baby.

"I hope he's okay" I mumble back. "Well this is a party no more sad talk let's find out what my niece/nephew is" aiden breaks the silence and drags us outside.

I take a stand in the middle right next to Damian and smile at my friends, aunt and uncle along with a few of their friends they invited. I personally invited diego but he was away working on a project or something.

Gen comes up next to me and positions me in front of a white poster then hands me a cannon thing doing the same with Damian.

"When I say go pop them" she tells us. Gen looks behind the poster and yells a quick go. I pop it and am met with blue confetti at the same time as 2 familiar puppy's jump through the poster each dyed blue while benji holds a "we're getting a little brother" sign.

Tears fall from my eyes and I run to Damian wrapping my arms around his neck. Everyone's cheering around us while I'm just caught in the moment of being in my loves arms. "He's gonna be strong like his dad" Damian chuckles.

I nod and smile wiping at my eyes. "Yes he is" I agree.

We go hand in hand to our friends and give them a hug. My aunts friends give us a quick "congratulations" before leaving.

"So your first baby's gonna be a boy are you excited?" My aunt questions as we clean up the kitchen together. "I'm a little nervous but happy, it's like a new adventure you know?" She smiles and gives me a hug.

"What's this for?" I ask. She breaths in and a few tears fall from her eyes. "Your like the daughter I never had Rose" she tells me holding my hand. "I'm just so happy to be going on this journey with you" she continues.

I smile and sniffle a little. "And I'm so lucky to have you with me, ever since grandma died I hadn't really had a mother figure in 4 years until I came here with you so thank you" I sincerely tell her. My aunt gives my head a kiss and looks behind me.

"You should get going I'll finish up here" I nod and turn around to Damian holding his hand out. I interlace our hands once again and we walk out.

"The dogs are in the truck waiting" he tells me. I nod slowly and get in the passenger side with a bit of help from Damian. Why the heck did he get a tall truck.

"We should get a mom car you'll look so hot in it" I tease. Damian sarcastically chuckles "yea sure why not" he agrees.

We talk a bit more before pulling in. I look behind me and see buddy and benji fast asleep until I open the door they both fully wake up and rush to get out.

We head inside and change then get into bed with me laying my head on Damians chest and him playing with the ends of my hair.

"Now that we know the gender what names do you like?" I wonder out loud to him. He goes in thought thinking for a second then looks back down at me "I'd be happy with anything you choose" I shrug and look to benji who's fast asleep on the edge of the bed.

"Where's buddy?" I sit up and see him in a corner he makes eye contact with me then looks away and curls into a ball.

I frown and pat the spot next to me. "Come here buddy" I call out. Buddy ignores me but his tail wags ever so slightly. "He's probably hot he'll come later" Damian tells me. I lay back down reluctantly and sigh.

"Okay Goodnight" I murmur. He gives my lips a kiss before murmuring a Goodnight back.
