Chapter 40- my bad.

I woke up this morning bright and early to walk buddy and benji. It's been quite some time since the party and carter hasn't talked to me very much. Although he does owe me a coffee.

"Look guys I just think it'll be so cool if I swam with sharks" I tell my doggy's while unlocking the door. Buddy immediately runs to drink water then rushes up the stairs probably to go snuggle up with Damian. They've gotten pretty darn close and I won't lie it's infuriating. I'm only a tad bit jelly.

I glance to benji and he's taking his time drinking his water. I plop down next to him and stroke his fur. He sits down and we stay on the floor for a few seconds. Now I love buddy he's been there and comforted me every time but benji here is so cute and loves me more. He follows me everywhere and I quite enjoy the company.

"Rosaline" I hear my name being yelled and chuckle. He just really misses me. Standing up I sigh smiling and speed walk upstairs. Benji runs past me and jumps on the bed while I stand at the edge.

"Yes?" I question amusedly. Damian glares at me openening his arms, I walk towards him and as soon as I get within arms reach he pulls me on top of him. "Where'd you go?" He grumbles kissing the top of my head.

He starts playing with my hair and it starts to make me sleepy. He knows what he's doing. "To walk the dogs" I mumble out closing my eyes. He humms

A few seconds later he stops messing with my hair and suddenly I'm not tired anymore. Odd.

I sit up and look behind me. He's so cute he's sound asleep with buddy next to him. What shall I do?

I'm going to pull a fun prank on someone but who?

After a lot of consideration I decide to prank Gen. It'll be so much fun. I text josh to get here quietly, fast and to not tell a soul where he's going oh and go bring a blonde wig.

I go downstairs like a ninja and skillfully open the door holding up a finger telling josh to be quiet. He looks at me weirdly and furrows his eyebrows, a confuzzled look on his face.

"What are we doing and who are we pranking" josh evilly chuckles and holds up the wig. I grab it and point up stairs. "So I'm going to put this b word on and lay down next to Damian then you're going to snap a photograph and send it to gen" I explain whispering.

Josh smiles evilly and nods. "Then we can leave and pretend you were never here so that she think he cheated" he adds happily agreeing to help. I quietly cackle and put the wig on.

Josh helps and I look in the mirror. It looks real maybe I should dye my hair blond. Or red. Or purple. Or Damians favorite color baby blue. I know it secretly is baby blue he's just a bit ashamed to admit.

We go back upstairs and I start to head over to the bed but josh stops me. "Wait put this on" he whispers shoving Damians shirt at me. I grin and pull the shirt on top of my current outfit tank top and shorts.

I lay down on my stomach and throw a leg on top of Damians and he subconsciously wraps his arm around my waist pulling me closer. I wait a few seconds and josh taps my shoulder telling me he's got it.

Removing his arm I look to the photo and think it's real, I almost slap the fella. We're such good pranksters. I grab Josh's hand and we run out the room and downstairs then out the door. Once we're out we burst out in laughter.

"let me just send this to gen first" josh tells me after we calm down then we wait for her to reply which doesn't take too long.

"What the actual fuck Rosaline's hair is not blond and if she had dyed it she would have told me"

"You know what I'm coming over and beating the shit out of him how dare be hurt my best friend "

Our eyes go wide. "Should we tell her?" I ask josh feeling a bit nervous. He smiles and shakes his head grabbing my hand.

"Where are we going?" I suspiciously ask josh as he leads us up the stairs. "To hide in a closet" josh replies like if it's the obvious thing. Shrugging I follow in and he leaves it just a bit cracked open so that we can both peek out.

We wait a while and once we're about to come out the door downstairs is flung open and angry stomps are heard. Glancing up at josh he's full on smiling! I'm a bit anxious about this.

I quickly run out the closet and meet gen just outside the door putting a finger to my lips. "Firstly I'm sorry but you've been pranked" I tell gen giggling at her confuzzled face. It morphs from anger to confused to realization then to a small smile. "You really got me did you do this alone?" She questions knowing I probably couldn't have.

Before I can answer we hear something being thrown in the room then josh runs out the room and downstairs fast. " bestie your man is in there being angry so I gotta go this was fun" he yells out from downstairs.

I look to gen and she chuckles shaking her head. "I should go too" she tells me. I give her a hug and something purple catches my eye. "Why did you have a taser?" I ask her.

She sheepishly smiles and shrugs. "To teach a lesson I don't need it you want it?" She asks handing it to me. I look at it and nod it's just very pretty. Gen gives me her taser and I happily skip back into my bedroom and find Damian up with the blonde wig.

He can pull off blonde.

"The fuck is this doing here?" He mumbles out glaring at it. I make the 'I don't know face' and plop down on the bed sighing in relief. It's been a fun morning.

"Let's go to the aquarium" i blab out wanting to go see some fishes. Damian turns to look at me with no expression.

"no" he deadpans walking away. I groan and stand on top of the bed then crack my knuckles and put on my intimidate face. "Yes" I say back just as serious.

"You look like you need to shit" he smirks. I'm gonna wipe that little smirk right off with my fist. "Dude I just want to go have an adventure with the man I love now please change and be downstairs in 5 minutes" i look at him narrowing my eyes.

Damian huffs and goes into the restroom. Chuckling to myself I go to leave but then remember the sweat from this morning since benji likes to make me run a bit when he chases things and grab clothes to take a shower.

It'll be just fine. I bet the wirdo won't even care if I take a super duper fast shower.

I'm a very happy person now. My love is not. "Listen here fella I told you it was an accident" I tell him once again apologetically and sigh. He narrows his eyes at me. "It hurt" he mumbles.

I got out the shower after taking 'fricking forever' then once we went to the aquarium I found out I'm supposed to put a reservation and buy tickets online or something. That was going to be a long wait so we left and instead got some Starbucks.

Then someone decided to show off her new taser and accidentally tased the man next to me. Once again I have no idea who that someone was. A big mystery.

"Well um at least it's pretty" I try making the situation better. It's not working. I turn it on to show him again and accidentally almost tase myself. Hehe whoops.

"Give me that shit" he grumbles taking it from me. Damian securely places it in his jacket and away from me. I huff and sit back in my seat crossing my arms. Im going to buy myself another one.

"You're not getting or buying anymore of these" he scolds driving us to a nearby ihop to have some good pancakes.  We'll see about that.

Secretly i hide my phone and text gen. I tell her to get me another since the grump took mine and she sends me a thumbs up. Muahaha I'm going to have a collection.

"What are you doing?" He questions curiously. I shrug and begin to get off. He continues starring and i internally cackle. "Gens getting me another" I tease. I'm poking the bear and he just might poke back.

"You don't need it" he retorts. We begin walking in and damian interlaces our hands. "Yes I do what if a killer comes and kidnaps me? I'll need it to defend myself " I pause and look at him. "But now that I don't have one they're easily going to take me" I tell him exaggerating a little.

"I thought you said you're a professional boxing fighter" he tells me opening the door for me then smirks.  I nod frantically "oh I am" I assure him.

He chuckles lightly then shrugs "So then you'll fight them" I almost groan and punch him right then and there but refrain only because I want food and hate ordering on my own.

We sit down and order our pancakes well, I do. Damian just glares at the menu and ignores the waiter. I thank the waiter extra nicely and once he leaves I Put my serious face on then get back on the topic. "What if there's too many?" I retort back narrowing my eyes. He narrows his eyes back. "Then they'll take you"

I think for a moment and grin. "And you'll miss me when I'm gone love, you'll think back and say 'why didn't I just give her the taser" I tell him making my voice deep at the end. He rolls his eyes. "No I'll think 'I wonder how long till they get tired of her shit and bring her back" he sarcastically tells me.

I shake my head. "They won't bring me back because I'll make them food" I tell Damian matter of factly. I'll be extra nice and they'll keep me then I'll make new friends. Good plan.

He snorts and half smiles. "You're food taste like shit" I gasp and hold my heart. "Dude that's rude" i breathe in. "I'm never making you anything again" I continue.

His eyes go wide. " i was teasing. Don't say that." He mumbles crossing his arms. I throw my head back and laugh very loudly. "Nope you'll never taste my chicken Alfredo again" I sink back in my seat and evilly smile.

Damian kicks my foot under the booth and I immediately sit up giving his a good big kick. We continue this until I get tired and stomp on his foot then lift my legs up so he can't touch me.

"I'm sorry" he mutters out under his breath looking into my eyes. I softly smile back in return. "It's okay I'm sorry too"

We eat our meal and decide to go to the park to have a little fun family day with buddy and benji. They were very excited to go once we put the leashes on. Buddy practically ran out the door.

"Isn't this nice?" I look up to Damian and see him already looking down. Sometimes he makes my heart beat a little faster.

Sometimes.

"I love you" he murmurs. I bite the inside of my cheek. "I love you too" he gives my lips a good smooch and I think of an idea.

"Let's watch the sunset" his face falls and he scowls. I check the time 7 o clock. It should go down in a bit. He sighs and follows me to a tree and we sit in front of it. Damian opens his legs and pulls me in front of him to sit. Buddy and benji come too, one laying on my lap the other beside Damian.

I watch the sunset and there's nothing too special about it. Although it is pretty anywho I close my eyes and lean back enjoying the moment.

"Say you'll remember me, Standin' in a nice dress

Starin' at the sunset, babe. Red lips and rosy cheeks"I start singing.

Damian grips my chin and tilts it up bringing his lips down. I'll never get used to this.

"You ready?" He asks holding out his hand. I smile. "Mhmm" I softly reply grabbing onto his hand then standing up. We head back into the truck and drive home after a wonderful evening.

We should do this more often. It was very relaxing and I think we both needed this. I know he's been stressing over a case and I've been stressing over homework.

It was peaceful.

"Damian" I whisper shout.

"Dude" I shake him a bit and wiggle my body that he is currently on top of.

"Hmm" he groans holding onto my waist tighter. I currently have a hoodie and some booty shorts on.

It's fricking hot in this joint and this idiot won't leave me alone. "Get off me" I whine trying my best to shove him off me but to my luck he doesn't budge.

"No" he grumbles wiggling his head on my lower stomach to get more comfy.

I huff once more then sit up as best I can and take off the black hoodie I stole from the creep under me. When I'm done I sigh in relief and lay back down.

Damian noticed my lack of clothing and furrows his eyebrows now more awake. He scans my body and lazily smiles to himself before burying his head between my boobies and even kissing the top of one.

"Get off me you creep" I shriek smacking his head.

He chuckles and i feel the vibration on my boobies. I won't lie I don't mind this one bit. Don't tell Damian, he'll get a bigger head.

I hum and run my fingers through his hair, glancing to my side. I look at the nightlight I have that Damian bought me because well, I'm scared of the dark.

It's a cute little butterfly night light that's pretty bright. I never told him I was scared, I would always leave the closet light on and I guess he assumed I didn't like the dark. He was right, I don't!

I hear my loves light snoring and after Letting out a big sigh I kiss his head and throw my leg over him then eventually go to sleep.
