Chapter 32- cheats.

"Chemistry between people is the strangest science of all."

I cheated. Whoops my bad hehe. Let's just say gen is not going to be a happy fella. Last week we declared to eat healthy and become healthy people. Of course that only lasted me 1 day. I ate a big ol burger and do I regret it? Heck no.

Now I'm on my way to Damians work to tell him of my sin. I fibbed and told gen I have been super duper healthy. Do I regret it? Heck yes.

"Love, I'm here" I announce walking in. I wave and say hi to a few of my friends then take a seat in my chair. He smooches my lips and I put down my coffee then put on my game face. I need to tell someone of my actions. "There's something I need to tell you" I begin then clear my throat.

"So I cheated this morning and I feel horrible" I deadpan. Jake gasp and even the pen in his hand falls. I look to Damian and his eyes are looking between both of mine. "What?" He Mumbles glancing up from a file. It was only a frickin burger gosh darn it, I'll just run it off later.

"Are you calling me fat?" Now it's my turn to be shocked. "What did you do" he grumbles getting up. I stand too. Where are we going? "What do you mean what? I cheated with gen" I explain.

"Oh my fuck so she cheated on Ethan too" Jake exlaims. "What the heck, who cheated?" I ask looking between both of them. Was it ethan? He's about to get a fist full of face. Or is it a fi- Nevermind I don't have time. Damian groans. "Tell me what you did?" He slowly says nodding at me, annoyance in his voice.

"I told you I cheated with gen, I was supposed to be eating healthy but I didn't and lied to her about it" I explain."I cheated with our deal" I continue. Jake burst out laughing and walks out. Damian rolls his eyes and sits. "Why'd you stand I thought we were leaving?" I make my way back to my seat and sit too.

"I thought yo- nevermind" he cuts himself off. I wave it off ignoring and roll around in my chair. "So anywho don't tell her what I did okay?" If he does I'm dead meat man. "Or I'm taking you down with me" I warn in all seriousness.

If we're being honest I have a 65 percent suspicion she cheated as well.

"Hi bitches what are we doing" gen comes in with a drink. What kind of drink is it? I'm going to catch her. "Hey can I have some water?" I ask innocently. Her eyes flood with nervousness. "Oh no I added lemon and apple cider it's not that good" she mumbles. I don't buy it.

"Oh extra healthy good Cmon I'm thirsty" I dramatically sigh and reach my hand out. From the corner of my eye I see Jake smirk. "Why don't you take a sip of your coffee there?" He teases with a smile pointing to it. Gulp. "It's not mine it's Damians" I respond quickly shoving the coffee in his chest.

He scrunches his nose and looks at it like I poisoned it. "Dude, drink it!" I whisper. He shakes his head. "You're making me look bad right now" I scold.

Cmon dude take one for the team. It's just a drink.

"No" my eyes narrow and I mouth 'drink it' to him. He rolls his eyes and takes a sip.

"See it's not mine" I smile in victory. Ha losers. "Oh yea then why does it have your name on the cup, and lipgloss stain" Jake points out.I'm going to have to eliminate him. I turn to it and gasp, a hand to my heart. "Damian you wear lipgloss? And why did you use my name silly?" I look from the corner of my eyes checking if they're buying it. They're not.

"You cheated!" Gen accuses a finger in my face. I bite it hehe. Once I let go I suck in a breath. "How dare you accuse me?" It's true but how dare she? "Admit it" she demands putting her drink down. I take my chance and take a sip. Dr Pepper. A smile makes its way into my face. Heck yea I caught her.

My eyes widen and I let out an evil cackle. "We both did so there is no need to be upset" I tell her trying to contain the peace. "I heard from a bird you cheated first I just came to get a confession" gen tells me taking her drink back. I look to the fella. Oh I'm coming for him. "You frickin idiot how dare you betray me" I pretend to be hurt.

"Rosaline I was kid-" I cut him off. "Nope don't talk to me I'm too hurt Damian kick him out" I demand dramatically 'crying'. I hear Damian get up and my eyes pop. I see him shove Jake towards the door. Holy moly I was joking. "Damian I was kidding I'm not hurt, she was bound to find out!" I tell him

He stops and shrugs then goes back to his seat. I should hire him as my bodyguard. Gen and Jake leave to go try a new cafe and I stay behind because well I'm positive the fella will miss my company too much. Who wouldn't?

I spin around in my chair dying of boredom. "Your hand looks heavy can I hold it for you?" I ask Damian making my voice deep.  "Are you from Tennessee cause your the only ten I see."

"Did it hurt?"

"Huh?"

"Did it hurt when you fell from heaven"

"Did you drink soda?-"

"Because you look so-da-liscous"

"Can you pass me an inhaler...because you just took my breath away"

I throw my head back and laugh at my jokes while Damian opens a drawer. I wonder what he's doing. Ehh don't care. I feel in my wallet and grin when I find something.

"I'm glad I remembered to bring my library card because I'm definitely checking you out" I say then pull out my library card while cackling.

"Do you have a name? Or can I-"

I'm interrupted when something gets shoved in my mouth. It's sweet and hard. "finally" Damian sighs. Excuse me.

"Hey what is this?" He doesn't reply so I take it out my mouth. A jolly rancher! I tap on his shoulder. "Love, what if I was allergic? Hmm I could've died" I explain still sucking on the sweet.

"Well that would've been a tragedy" sarcasm clear in his voice. He even slapped both his hands on his face acting shocked.

"So what are you working on?" He ignores me and I roll my eyes making my way to the small couch in his office. I take out the blanket I have because this fricking dude likes to have his office like Antarctica.

I then lay down and get comfy then drift off.

I jerk up. My legs are cold. I look down and my blanket is on the floor. How'd it get there? Also this couch is not very comfy I should've napped on the floor gosh darn it.

Yawning I get up and stretch. I check the time on my cellular device. 4:38 fabulous.

"Damian" I sing song his name walking over to him. Once I get there my eyes widen. It's only been an hour since my nap how'd it get so messy?

"What happened dude I just helped you organize" I scold pretty upset. I mean Cmon we just went through everything and cleaned up I even got him a cute desk organizer. "I can't find him why the fuck can I find him" he angrily yells.

I did nothing nor do I know who the him is.

"Who?"

"Oliver richmund fucking bastard kidnaps kids and he just took a 9 year old boy I need to find out where he's keeping them" he explains. I nod and give him a hug because well I believe we both need one.

As I'm enjoying his arms around me the door burst open and in comes ethan. "Sorry to interrupt uh we have a lead on Oliver but we have to leave now" he informs us. I nod and unwrap my hands from Damians neck slowly.

"I'll be back" he whispers down to me. I nod giving him a reassuring smile. "Take your time I'll be waiting okay?"

"I love you"

"I love you too" he gives my lips a kiss.

"In the meantime I'm going to teach buddy how to bite your butt"

He ignores the last bit grabs his coat and leaves. I decide to leave too mainly because I don't want to be around strangers... policeman to be exact I mean who the heck do they think they are telling me 'slow down'? Their egos need to slow down.

As I'm pulling into my home i spot benji running in the front. Gosh fricken cheeseballs I didn't close the door right. I groan and get off then after a few minutes of me running around, I catch him. I'm out of breath. I need to exercise more.

"Benji you could've gotten ran over dude"

I don't really think he cares. Once I'm inside I sit on the couch with buddy and benji eventually getting bored of being on my phone. "You know what we should go on an adventure!"

I grab their leashes and walk out. I decide to take them to a nearby dog park. Buddy and benji love going there. Obviously we get to Starbucks first and get 2 puppuccinos and well my coffee.

When we get to the dog park I look at my phone but have no new messages. I'm only a tad bit worried but it's okay they're probably busy chasing that olive oil guy.

"So I was on the couch and I did not even realize I fell asleep until I woke up I mean I don't even remember my dream!" Benji and buddy look at me while I talk.

Once I find a bench I sit and let their leashes go. I also take out their toys and throw them. Benji and buddy play around with it and I watch.

About 30 minutes go by and they come sit beside be starring around. It's nice outside. Running to pick up their toys I put them up and we begin our journey home.

I check my phone and there is still no new messages. Oh well. I shoot him and gen a text then drive home singing some good ol tunes.

Getting home I quickly shower and change into comfortable clothing. I should make food.. so I do just that. Mac and cheese the very best delicious meal. Obviously I don't get full so I order myself a large pizza.

Setting up the tv to watch a show or something I sit and wait for my pizza. Why is this dude taking so long? oh no what if he dropped my pizza and had to go back inside to rema-

The door bell rings and I run to the door a grin on my face. "Rosaline?" I nod and take the pizza handing him a 20 dollar bill. "Thank you so very much keep the change!" He gives me a your welcome then leaves. I should've asked for his company. Nahh. Now that I have my snack I can get to binging.

As I'm feeding Benji a piece of pizza I get tired and feel my eyes get heavy so I go up to bed and fall asleep.

I'm soon woken up by someone coming out the restroom. Ignoring it I try going back to sleep then feel the bed dip bedside me. A smile makes its way onto my face and I turn. "Hello" I whisper to not wake the doggies.

"Hi" he whispers back to me a smile on his face.

"Did y'all catch the Olive Garden guy" I ask my eyes now closed. I'm sleepy.

"Mhmm we did"

"And you found the kids?" I open my eyes back up to see his reaction. I smile.

"All of them"

That's quite relieving. "That's good I'm happy for you and them" I lay my head on Damians chest and get comfortable.

He gives my forehead a kiss and closes his eyes. I soon hit the hay after hearing his peaceful snoring.my poor love was tired.
