Chapter 22- oklahoma

"If it doesn't burn a little what's the point of playing with fire?"

It's been a few days since everything and I've been taking my medication feeling a bit better.

They're laced with lsd that's why obvi.

My grandmas death anniversary is three days from now. 2 years the lady who gave me love, took care of me, and showed me how happy I can be, left me.

It's okay she's with grandpa.

Im flying back to Oklahoma later at 2:30 it's 10:39 and I have everything packed and ready for me and buddy,he's coming along. Although I feel like I'm forgetting something.

After thinking I wave it to the back of my mind. Walking out my bedroom I see the picture of me and Damian.

OH MY GOODNESS I FORGET TO TELL HIM.

Hehehe my bad. I'll just go tell him now I have more than enough time.

I get in my car my bags already in there then rush to his house well, rush to Starbucks then his house.

I can't function without coffee. It's like my other half.

I get to his house and see a few cars here. Oh he has company. That's good he needs friends, everyone does.

My fellas a loner with a girlfriend and a few friends he tolerates. He's jughead Jones.

I hear him yelling and immediately go to the game room

"I told you you're done now get the fuck outta here before I release Rosaline on your ass again" he grits out through clenched teeth and I nearly pee my pants.

Who the heck is he talking to?

Shrugging it off I walk in with a big smile, at him being in boss/detective/gamer boy mode. I'll buy him a shirt with all that.

"Hello whores it is I, queen to all now bow down" I say walking in making myself known. Josh chuckles and bows down as does Jake. My three original boys.

I laugh then look at an angry Damian glaring at the girl in front of him. She turns around smirks at me then pulls Damian in and kisses him.

Oh she's pushed my buttons too far.

Before I can do anything not even a whole second goes by and Damian throws her at the wall. He wipes his mouth again and again looking disgusted with himself.

My poor baby. I look at the girl who appears to be unconscious or just asleep. Don't know.

I gasp loudly and dramatically. He looks up shocked so I'm guessing he hasn't noticed me until now.

As much as I'm upset that he payed no mind to me I need to go on with my prank.

"You're cheating on me?" I say fighting the urge to laugh and hug him. He shakes his head immediately and I refrain from cackling.

."No I swear I promise she just kissed me and I- I- look just ask Josh and-" we look around and they're gone so is the girl.

Yea you better run.

I hug him cutting him off. "I know I was teasing I saw the whole thing I love you so much dude"

he sighs in relief. "You little-" I cut him off kissing him.

He responds back immediately trying to taste every inch of my mouth to forget about the other I'm guessing. I mean I'm not complaining he's a gosh darn good kisser.

I'm running out of breath. How the heck does he hold his breath for this long. I swear I'm about to faint.

I pull away and we're both two panting messes trying to catch our breaths. He goes in for another kiss but I pull away needing to stop and discuss what I came here for.He looks at me confused as to why I don't want to kiss him again.

He grips my chin. "Kiss me back" he grumbles.

"do you have a minute to talk about our lord and savior Jesus Christ" I suddenly gush out silently laughing to myself.

"No" he goes in for another kiss and quickly I think of another thing. "I've been trying to contact you about your cars extended warranty"

"Shut up and kiss me" I give his lips a peck. "Look there's important matter I need to discuss with you"

He sighs and nods for me to go on. "Well I'm uh leaving back home tonight and-"

He cuts me off. "Like hell you are" I gasp. "But I am lookie here fella I have my ticket" I gloat then bring it out showing him.

He glares at it snatches it and rips it into 5 pieces.

I stare at the floor and blink a few times.

Is now a bad time to mention I used a guest account to buy my tickets?

I slowly take my phone out and scroll through my emails silently hoping they sent me the details. my scouting comes to a fail when I find nothing. I only had that.

Then I quickly go on the website and look for any time or day and they're all sold out.

"I needed that why would you rip it" I mumble standing up. he looks up and glares at me "you wanted to leave" Damian grumbles out.

"I wanted to go visit my grandmas grave you idiot. Now I can't an-" I stop talking and stress out different ideas to try and make this work.

Guilt hits his face and he gets up "I'm sorry baby I didn't know-" I put my hands up to stop him.

"No Damian I just- I Umm, I need to go" I grab my bag and coffee speed walking not running out.

I hurry home then begin to find a new ticket or way. I sound crazy but I always have the day to be with her and spend time with her. It's like her spirit is there.

After an hour of searching I found one but I called my aunt and uncle neither answered. I only saved up enough for the first ticket and the money grandma left me, my father stole but aunt Victoria said she found a way to get it. Anywho I have a bit of money but it's not enough for me and buddy.

I sigh and decide to go eat Froot Loops.

They make everything better.

Well until you remember why your bummed out.

Humming to the flying song in high school musical my door is being unlocked.

I speed walk over there a big smile on my face that immediately fades when I see who it is.

I'm not talking to this dude.

"Listen here cupcake I love you but I'm currently upset with you so please Damian, leave"

"Wait Rosaline" he starts but I run away. Yes I actually run this time. I know shocker.

He catches me in his arms. I like it here. No I'm mad. I'm furious. I'm infuriated.

"Let me go you idiot or I'll bite you" he rolls his eyes and I continue to struggle trying to break free. "Baby stop, I'm sorry and I have something to give you as an apology gift" I narrow my eyes I don't want a gift.

"I'll release buddy on you" I warn still attempting to free myself.

Buddy's a beast he will rip anyone apart trust me. He once ripped up my stuffed pig. R.I.P mrs piggy the second.

"Here" he hands me an envelope and I glare at the paper. He puts it close to my face and I refrain from ripping it too.

I sigh and reach to get the envelope then open it. I gasp softly. "Where'd you find them" there's not 1 or 2 but 3 tickets to Oklahoma that leave at 5.

"I'm sorry for not hearing you out and ripping them. I made Josh and Jake help me find them" I safely put them back then turn my body to him and hug him.

In his arms where I should be.

We stay in each others embrace and it's quiet.

"Goodbyes are bittersweet but it's not the end I'll see your face again"  I start singing.

"You will find me, yeah you will find me in places that we've never been"

Damian looks at me amusement in his eyes. "Wait why is there three?" He softly smiles and tucks a hair behind my ear. "I- do you want company?" A big grin takes over my face and I nod rapidly.

"Yes, yea,si, oui I don't know any other" I laugh.

"Okay because my bags are already pack" I shake my head in disbelief and cannot stop myself from falling even more in love.

We lay down on the couch, me on top of him and fall asleep, of course not before I give his shoulder a good big bite.

Tasty.

"Stop fucking bi-" I raise my eyebrows. "You know what nevermind I give up just go to sleep"

I nod my head internally grining.

"Hurry the heck up dude I'm fixing to leave you"

We woke up a few minutes ago at 4:35.  It is 10 minutes later and im trying to get the fella to wake up. It's not going too good.

"If you don't get up there will be no smooches the whole trip" he immediately sits up and smirks.

"We both know you can't go even an hour without smooching my lips" he tells me acting cocky.

I think he's challenging me.I think for a few seconds.

I'm going to win.

"I accept your challenge no kisses on the lips or anywhere for a whole week unless you want to loose" his smirk falls and is replaced with a confused/shock look.

"Wait no I was fu-" I point my finger upward like I'm stating an important matter which I basically am.

"Nope it's deciding Cmon now"

Rolling his eyes he grabs my other bag and I grab buddy then we get in the car. It's nice and peaceful in here so quiet.

"I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes I saw the sign"'

"Yee doggies"

"If I turned into a cow would you still love me"

"Ha, would you still love me if I'm no longer young and beautiful"

I turn in my seat and do the duck face holding my hand in a peace sign while raising my eyebrows and squinting my eyes.

"You look like you need to shit" I gasp. "Well your face looks like poop" he doesn't do or say anything. I point an imaginary gun at him. "Laugh now or I'll murder you and your girlfriend"

"No"

"I'm funny"

"No"

"I'm single"

"No"

"I do have a boyfriend"

"Mhm"

"If you don't start talking to me I'm gonna jump out the car" I'm going to loose my marbles.

Metaphorically. I don't really actually have marbles, I did but I dropped them and lost some then overtime I lost them all. Hehe whoops.

It was upsetting they were cute too.

"Fine I'll talk to myself" I would talk to buddy but he appears to be asleep.

"How has your day been"

"Oh hello Rose my days been amazing what about yours"

"Hello Rosaline thank you for asking well I'm now single, I broke up with him obvi I mean we weren't meant to be and I think we bo-"

"You're not fucking single" Damian grumbles out.

I throw my head back and laugh my loud laugh. "I was kidding if you ever broke up with me I'll be the crazy ex"

"I'll never do that" I narrow my eyes. "Promise" I hold out my pinky. "Promise" I go in to kiss him but remember the challenge. "Oh you little trickster I almost fell for it oooo you almost got me good."

I cannot believe I almost kissed him I mean he challenged me and I go In to win.

We pull into the parking lot and before I can get off

Damian grips my chin turns me to him and gives me a big juicy kiss on the lips. I think my organs are dancing..

"You lost"

"Mhm"

"You couldn't resist huh!" I mean who would be able to resist smooching me. "I just couldn't" i punch his shoulder then happily dance to the airport and we soon get through security.

I lean up cupping my hand and whispering in his ear. "I know the drug lord I'm on a mission to help him escape" he looks at me and his face morphs into a shocked one and he gasp.

"No shit really?" It almost sounds sarcastic."no silly I lied I don't know him but my grandma used to say that was her husband" I tell him wiggling my eyebrows.

He shakes his head and drags me to our seat never once letting my hand go.

It was sad putting buddy in the cage I miss him.

After talking for a bit well mostly me talking, he would just dryly reply up until I threaten to go sit elsewhere and find myself a new flight companion, I fell asleep.

"Baby wake up we're here" I jerk away and wipe my mouth because apparently someone drools in their sleep. I woke up only twice from my nap both times to pee then be on my cellular device for a while.

I rub my eyes trying to get the tiredness away as we walk off the plane hand in hand of course. Taking out my phone I text my cousin to see if she's here.

While Damian gets buddy I watch my phone carefully waiting for her to reply. After a while she text 'here'

Me and her are so close I love my cousins. I giddily grab damians hand and drag him to her car. While I'm heading to the front seat I see someone else in there.

Is that Miranda? I think it is!! Miranda's my other cousin were all so close.

"Oh my god I missed you Rose why haven't you called?"  My cousin michelle asks while hugging me. I love hugs.

"I've been busy" I sigh shaking my head. "I saw you brought Miranda I missed her too now all we need is lilian and our group will be complete" I joke around. In my dads side it was 5 girls and the rest boys. We had our own little squad as we used to say.

"Oh she is we're all going to the little reunion to remember grandma ann she's waiting at the hotel we got for all of us!" My eyes go wide. "This will be just like the old times! it'll be fun" I say excited.

Before I can continue talking I hear a not so subtle clearing of a certain someone's throat. Hehe my bad.

"Michelle this is the weir- Damian my boyfriend" Michelle my lovely cousin smiles at him. "Hi it's nice to meet you, y'all make a lovely couple" so sweet.

I give Damian a look after catching his glare at her. He glances at me then slowly unclenches his jaw.

"Hi" he mumbles starring at the floor. "Sorry he's a shy person but he's a sweetheart trust me" I tell her with a big fat smile.

She awkwardly nods and helps us put our bags in the trunk. I greet Miranda and we talk until we get to the hotel.

"Okay y'all can check in to y'all's hotel room and Rosaline, we're having a sleepover tonight. please come over!" I nod and look at Damian.

"I don't wanna leave him alone I think I'll sta-" he cuts me off.

"go spend time with your family I'll be fine, just come to bed with me" I squeal and run giving him a hug.

"thanks I probably would've snuck out later" I shrug out.

After changing into Damians t shirt and sweats and settling in, I rush to the girls hotel room they're staying in.

"Hello b words I'm here" I hear a happy excited scream and I'm tackled to the floor.

"Omg rosaline we haven't talked in forever I missed you" I hug her back and laugh.

"Okay get off me please" she laughs and stands helping me up.

"Cmon were just settling in Michelle picked the movie" she tells me leading me to couch. I sit and munch on a few pieces of chips.

"What movie is it" Lilian looks at me with a sly smile.

"Ohh you know a good holy movie don't worry" I smile. "Okay what's it called?"

Lillian looks at Miranda. "365 days" that's a weird movie name.

"What's it about" I ask now chewing on popcorn.

"Oh just a romance movie you'll love it" she assures me. I nod and we begin the movie!

I love a good romance movie oh maybe they'll adopt a puppy in it. Every good romance movie needs a puppy.

15 minutes in the movie and I have my hand over my eyes. "This isn't a holy romance movie"

They're all laughing. "Rosaline look how hot he is"

Michelle tells me trying to move my hand.

"The things he does with his mouth shit I'll let him do whatever to me"

I gasp. "Oh heck no I'm doing a long prayer tonight goodbye" I yell and run out the room and to where my idiot is. Quickly opening the door and shutting it I run and jump on the bed.

Damian looks at me confused and worried. "What happened what's wrong?"

My sweetheart.

"Nothing really"

I have to tell him. I need to tell someone. It's funny. No I can't tell him I just saw a naked dude on the tv.

"I just saw a movie called 365 days and he was naked I saw his buttcheeks and he did inappropriate things and Michelle kept going on about how hot he was but don't worry your hotter I mean look at your abs anyways well I ran away." I think incase I forgot something. "Oh and I need to pray....your joining me"

I say all in one breath. Whew that took a lot.

"Did you watch the whole thing?" He asks cautiously.

"Of course not dude only like the beginning 15 minutes I was not going to stay and watch that porn movie." He nods "good"

I cuddle up right next to him. It's been a long day.

"I bet they make a lot of money" I mumble. Easy money. I just have to record sexy time.

"Let's make a sex tape" I gush out while looking up winking at him about 5 times.

"Fuck rosaline" he mumbles and gets up heading to the restroom. "I love you goodnight" after I tell him that I hit that hay.
