I gasped looking at the decors. There's a path which is decorated with yellow LED bulbs. I followed the lights to see where it was guiding me. Viewing the decors in front of me was good enough to make me dizzy. I again gasped looking at the decors.
This time the path was made of marble flooring and candles where lit on either side making it beautiful. There were trees with ample leaves standing on either side majestically, with fairy lanterns enhancing their beauty. I also saw small pots of yarrow flowers and carnation plants making the place even more wonderful.
The minute I stepped on the marble pathway, I heard Viren's voice in the background.
"On this day, 24 years before a little baby girl was born, who was made just for me. When she was born, I was a little jealous that she stole everyone's attention, including my grandparents."
I chuckled hearing this and I continued walking as he was speaking.
"Since I wanted everyone's attention back then I did something stupid. I pinched her once when she was a baby. She cried loudly that everyone came to her room. I tried shushing the baby. But she didn't budge. When I tried to shush her by keeping my palm on her mouth, she immediately grabbed my index finger and calmed down that instant."
I laughed at hearing this. Seriously this guy!
"That day I noticed her well for the first time. She was just like an angel which my mother used to mention. My Pari. My parents always loved her. I had a crush on her at that time. With time, I grew protective and possessive of her. I secretly admired her."
As I was walking, I saw the photos of my childhood being projected. There was one picture, which made me cry. It was the picture of Viren, Sharav, Preeti, and I along with Vinesh dad and Pranita mom.
"But I lost my angel. After seventeen years I saw my Pari again, in an unexpected way. I didn't know it was her at that time. She entered my life and started creating havoc. My heart always beats rapidly whenever I see her. I tried to get away from her. But she's as sweet as nectar of a flower, which attracts bees to them. I couldn't get away from her."
I smiled hearing his words. Now I was impatiently waiting to see him. To run into his arms. To hug him. Kiss the hell out of him.
"At our Paris trip, I came to know that I like her. But my heart made me remember that I liked her way before. She unknowingly became the pill to my wound. My happy pill. But this girl calls me Mr.Hoity-Toity, Pompous and what not!".
Saying this he huffed and I chuckled at his words. I couldn't control my flowing tears. Even though I dabbed them, they kept on flowing like a cascade.
"When I came to know who she really was, I couldn't be happier. But I was kinda angry at her that she chose to hide from me. I came to know everything only after she left me. I died every day without her. She's my breath for me to live."
At this, I was standing near the white screen which kept projecting pictures of me with everyone. There were even pictures of me and Viren. There was one picture, where I was standing shocked. My eyes and mouth in perfect 'O' shape 'cause, he was kissing my cheek from behind, by hugging me. I focussed when I heard his voice again.
"And today she's her bearing all my mood swings. I can't Thank God enough for sending you in my life. Thanks for coming in my life, my Pari, my happy pill."
I kept crying. I don't care how I was looking currently. All that mattered to me was the man who kept on speaking. I was determined to tell him, that I love him.
"To this day and upcoming days. Wish you many more happy returns of the day, My happy pill".
Now I badly needed to see him. I turned around was shocked by the man who had caged my heart with his love. He was standing there in his white shirt and cream color blazer paired with dark blue jeans looking handsome as always.
I was even more shocked when he started singing. Hearing the song, I cried even more. This guy is making me look like a crying mess today. It was Beautiful in White by Shane Filan.
I was mesmerized by his voice. Oh my God, this guy can sing. The moment he performed the song I ran towards him and hugged him by his neck. I showered his face with my kisses.
"Calm down Pari, there's many more to come", saying this he started walking pulling me alongside with him. He made stand where I was standing a few minutes before.
But hearing his next set of words, I started trembling knowing what he's trying to do.

Viren Khanna
Making her stand in front of me, I started saying the words, which I never imagined to tell anyone. But this one is special, 'cause she could make me do all sorts of things. From getting jealous to loving her. Taking a deep breath, I started my speech.
"Pari, I really don't know what to say or how to tell. My feelings towards you are not any mere liking it's more than that. As cheesy as it may sound, but it's the truth. I can't live without you. You were the missing piece of my puzzle life. I wanted to tell you this long before, but the situations were out of handle. But not now. I can't wait anymore, else my traitor heart will murder me", I said and tears were flowing her eyes. But she chuckled on hearing the last sentence tho.
"I never knew I would be this worrying, for someone. I never knew I would cry over some girl. I never knew I would be possessive of someone. I never knew I had a trait hidden in me, the jealousy trait. I never knew I would be saying these words to anyone. Yet I'm here. If this all attached to one feeling called love. Then yes, Ms. Akruti Arora I love you with all my heart.". Hearing this her eyes went wide.
'Wait please don't tell me she doesn't love me', I was literally shaking inside.
She hugged me and cried her heart out. I hugged her back and whispered sweet nothings to her. Then she let go of me and cupped my face. I don't know want came into her that she kissed me. I too kissed her back. We continued kissing that I had raised her from the floor. She let go of me when we were out of breath.
"I wow you too Rey".
I was shocked to hear these words. Here I told her that 'I love her' and she's telling me that she 'freaking likes me'. I started stepping backward. Instantly a frown made way to her face. Here I was planning to propose her for marriage with all our family members and she's saying she just likes me. I was so hurt. I felt my insides twisting in pain.
Then suddenly out of nowhere, all our family members came out of their hiding spot and shouted, "It means I love you, idiot". At first, I couldn't grasp what they were telling. Once I understood, I looked at Pari with my eyes wide. She was nodding her head telling me it was true.
Oh My God, she loves me too. Wait for a second!! That means she said 'I love you' in Paris itself. But didn't she tell me it means 'I like you'? I think she understood my turmoil, so she came and stood in front of me.
"I didn't tell you the real meaning at that time because I didn't wanna scare you. So I chose to change the meaning", she said smiling. I grabbed her by the waist and kissed the hell out of her. After our kiss, she blushed scarlet.
Oh, God! I'm so lucky enough to get her in my life. So it's the best. I think I should execute my last wish. I cleared my throat and Pari looked at me and smiled. Just seeing her smile, made my heart beat faster. We looked around to see our family members grinning at us.
"God, Do it man!", yelled Daksh. "I'm dying out of hunger here". This time Sharav and Sahil too nodded their heads, whilst my sister and elders laughed at them.
"I've never been so sure in my life Pari.", saying this I held her left and went on my knees, and took out the blue velvet box from my pocket. She gasped and covered her mouth with one of her hands.
"So Ms.Akruti Arora are you ready to write a story on our own love with your mystery man. Are you ready to tell our children about our love story, Mrs. Future Akruti Viren Khanna??", I asked her in the most unique way.
'Will you marry me' is a common one, but my girl a bundle of secrets, needs a unique way. So I planned this speech.
"Yes! Yes! I'm ready to tell our children our love story", saying this she also kneeled down and hugged me and cried. I guess still she didn't process the whole thing I told her.
"Wait! What? You're the mystery man!?", She asked me with wide eyes and an open mouth pulling out of the hug. I smiled at her and nodded my head.
"So you knew this all along? Like from when?", She questioned me.
"The moment you entered my cabin for an interview", I replied shrugging.
"Haww... How dare you!", Saying this she started beating me with her small fists.
"Then why do you think I sang 'beautiful in white' ", I asked her.
"Because the first time you saw me, I was wearing white color Patiala suit", she said smiling at me.
"Yes!", I said grinning at her and embraced her in a hug.
"Yes you idiot", Sahil too said. And she pouted looking at him.
And others hooted and shouted in joy. Pulling her out of the hug, I wiped her tears away. I opened the box and pulled the ring out of it.
I held her left hand slid the ring in the ring finger. The ring had a big emerald-cut diamond at the center and two small rectangular diamonds on the adjacent side, whilst the band of the ring had smaller diamonds embedded in them. She was so happy looking at the ring. My grandparents gasped looking at the ring.
"I-It's...", my dadi stammered whilst wiping her tears away, whilst dadu put his arms around dadi's shoulder.
"Yes dadi, it's maa's ring. She wanted her daughter-in-law to have this", I said looking at Akruti. Her eyes again went wide and again started crying. I hugged her and kissed her on top of her head.
'I think she planned to murder her poor eyes today.', I chuckled at my thought.
"I'm so fortunate", I heard her say.
"Nah... I'm the fortunate one", I said and smiled at her. She nodded her head in no.
"Okay we both are fortunate enough", Saying this I again captured her lips for a soul-shattering kiss. I really don't know how many times I kissed her today.
Ahh! Because I lost the count you see!
