Later Dadu woke me up, we went to the park to catch up some morning exercise and again Dadu was fussing like a child. Daksh messaged me that he reached Delhi safely. After showering, I dressed in a seal color checked two-piece suit with a cream-colored shirt. I wore my formal shoes and headed downstairs.
"Good morning Bhai" Preeti greeted me. I greeted back in response.
"You got dressed up so early. It's just 8.00" Preeti asked me.
"Well I have an interview to conduct so I'll be going early. " I replied to her, and she nodded her head in approval.
"Okay, bhai I'll get going. Today we have a guest lecture in the morning. I don't wanna be late for that. Bye..I'll sees you in the evening. ", I kissed her forehead and she headed out.
"Bhai??", I heard her call me.
"What??"
"Start hunting for my bhabhi from today" she yelled.
"Okay" I replied absentmindedly. After gathering what she said, I groaned out loud, and she laughed out loud and went.
'They teased me to death yesterday with my ' hush-hush' girl '
' Again ' my hush-hush girl ' ' said my mind.
"Just shut up bruh", My heart retorted back. And there you go they started their fight. Someone flicked their finger in front of me and brought me out from my la-la-land.
'Not him'. I facepalmed.
"Dreaming about someone??" asked Dadu in a teasing manner.
"Leave that poor boy alone, will you??." dadi questioned him taking my side.
"Hey you old woman, why are you always supporting your grandson, support your husband sometimes too," said Dadu.
"Well I'll only support the sensible one and not some idiotic old man" dadi responded back and I burst out laughing. I saw Dadu sulking like a kid.
"Always smile and laugh like this Veer." Dadi cupped my face and kissed my forehead. Even Dadu was nodding his head.
"Till you guys are there with me I'll smile and laugh like this" saying I hugged her. And I found that dadu engulfed us in a bear hug.
"If Preeti and Daksh gotta know about this they'll create ruckus", chuckling I removed myself from the hug. We sat together and had our breakfast.
"I'm coming with you to the office," dadu said.
'Not again'
"No, you're not" I replied back.
"Yes"
"No"
"Yes"
"No"
"What happened. Why are you guys fighting ??" Dadi questioned us.
"Dadi he says he'll come with me to office, but if he comes there, he won't allow me to do any work. Also, he'll keep disturbing me. Even Daksh is not here to handle him. You please handle him for this week alone", I asked her showing my best puppy eyes.
"Okay, Veer. I'll handle this old man. You go do your work. Anyways I have some work for him so he'll stay in the house till Daksh returns" replied Dadi.
" What??? That's not fair!!! How dare you old woman???" Said Dadu angrily, but it was so funny that I laughed out loud.
"What's so funny??" asked Dadu.
"It's your face" I replied.
"What's with my face??" He asked totally clueless.
"Your face is so funny when you're angry", I said and again continued laughing. This time dadi too joined.
"Okay shut up", said Dadu annoyed.
Gathering myself after being a laughing mess, I stood up, hugged both of them, and start walking towards the main door. But I heard them chatting in a whispering manner.
"Old man. Get ready we'll go search for our granddaughter-in-law. And we'll buy some jewelry also. What say??" I heard Dadi's voice.
"Wow. Really???? You're becoming intelligent day by day-old woman" Dadu replied back.
' It's gonna really be difficult to handle them. That too in this situation'. Shaking my head I left for the office.
I reached my office at 8.45 and was greeted by my receptionist. She's a cultured girl, not like other women. She was my school junior. Her family members left her to death when they couldn't bear her expenses for studies. When I gotta know this, I helped her out.
But she refused initially. She didn't want anyone's pity. She worked in small shops continued her studies in college and then entered my office for an interview. She always calls me 'Bhai'. She's like Preeti to me. A good, innocent girl. Greeting her back, I left my office.
I entered my cabin and settled myself. Again the hush-hush girl's image popped into my head.
'Get a grip on yourself Veer'
I heard a knock on my door and the person entered after I responded with a 'come in'.
"Veer!", The person called out my name. In case you don't know only my close people call me by 'Veer' or 'Vee'.
It was Haridas Kashyap, Dadu's childhood best friend, and his PA.
"Yea Dadu!!" I replied back.
"Shall we start the interview?"
"Yeah.... let's start". And yeah he's my temporary PA for now.
A girl entered wearing improper cloth. I felt like puking. Don't they have some self-respect and self-esteem? I instantly rejected her. The next candidate came she was the same as before. I kept on rejecting everyone.
One girl crossed all the limits. She started performing vicious acts, rounding my table, she stood in front of me and tried kissing me.
' Seriously wtf does she think'
" Get out," I said.
"What" she replied in a seducing voice. I literally cringed at that voice.
"GET OUT" I shouted and she wiped her fake tears and ran away.
The next candidate entered, and she was dressed in a simple manner. 'Nila'. A different name. I saw her CV. Impressive!
I asked some questions about her life and came to know that she's from Tamilnadu and an orphan. I asked her a few questions and she replied to them without struggling. I'll select her. She's good to be a PA.
'Okay I'll select her as my PA'
I told her that we'll contact her if she's selected. She behaved in the way I expected.
The other one came, but she was not like the previous candidate. She was an attention seeker. I continued the interview because I thought of selecting a PA for Daksh too. He doesn't do his work. Instead, it's me who'll be handling his work.
So he definitely needs a PA. I held my head in both my palms. My thoughts were broken by the knock. I sighed heavily and replied a 'come in'.
"Good morning sir" I heard the girl say, and her voice was angelic tho.
I just nodded my head in response. I lifted my head and saw the girl before me.
What the absolute hell??? Am I dreaming??
I was just staring at her.
'Is she for real. My hush-hush girl is in front of me. I'm totally crazy. That's it. She's not in front of me. Yea. I'm just dreaming'
But suddenly she flicked her fingers before me. I came out of my thoughts.
"Sir??", I heard her voice, it was in an unsure manner.
All I could say was,
"Huh".

So he finally saw her. Again.
