Lina refused to leave Jax’s place and according to the family, all they heard was her cry even at night. At this point I don’t know if I should confront her myself and try to get the truth out of her, I was impatient now due to how fast things were happening.

“You should talk to her, we can’t risk everything now” Jax said and I gave a nod as I made my way into the room.

“I told you clearly that I want to be left alone!” she bursted angrily and stopped talking when my eyes met hers.

“What are you doing here Rachel?” she asked weakly and I walked close to the bed..

“Can I seat ?” I asked and she gestured towards the couch.

“How do you feel now?” I asked and she stared at me quietly..

“Sad and stup id” she said and I stared at her.

“You could have died Lina, right now I don’t even know the right words to use” I said and she sighed.

“I loved Jayden and supported him for years” she said as her voice broke down at the edge.

“I was too blinded to see how terrible my relationship with Jayden was” she said as she cried badly.

“Do you want to talk about it ?” I asked, and I could truly see the pain in her eyes.

“It’s okay if you don’t want to talk about it though” I said and she shook her head.

“I want to, I just want to get this burden off my chest because right now all I feel in my heart is great pain” she said crying.

“It all began when I lost my parents all Cause of Carlos. At that time I was still very young and I didn’t know what to do, Jayden offered to help me we became quiet close and eventually started dating behind close doors. No one knew about it because he wanted to keep it a secret, Jayden and Xavier were best friends that time…” she trailed calmly.

“Things started getting really serious between us that he opened up and told me about. his agenda in the red blood pack, at that point I had gone too far to start thinking of changing my mind” she continued

“Hey hey, it’s okay” I said and she stared at me.

“I know you are up to something Rachel but, I will advice you dig deep into the matter. Make sure what you are doing is for the right reasons or you will end up in regreting” said and her words hit me.

“Thanks for the piece of advice” I said and she give a nod.

“Jayden will pay for what he has sone to you Lina, it all depends on wether or not you are ready to make him pay” I said and she held my hand tight.

“I want to make him pay Rachel, he deserves to pay for all he put me through” she said as she cried.

“We should tell Xavier” she said immediately.

“We will not be telling Xavier anything” I said and she stared at me speechlessly.

“Why? he deserves to know” she said and I shook my head negatively.

“Jayden has not eyes on you Lina, you can’t just go to Xavier and try confessing everything. If that happens, you are signing a death wish yourself” I said and she hugged herself close sadly.

“What should I do then? I have been here for days, am pretty sure Jayden is already suspecting me” she said and I gave a nod positively.

“That is true, but that does not mean you should give him a reasons to be. Don’t make his suspicion right.” I said and she listened to me attentively.

“All you have to do now is go over to Jayden and leave no room for doubt. The game gets tougher when the victim have no idea of his attackers next move” I said and that seem to have caught her attention.

“Rachel, I can’t just go back and pretend like he didn’t hurt me. It is way too painful” she said crying.

“You want to back out and fight him without wisdom?” I asked and she shook her head immediately.

“Then do the needful and stop acting up” I said and she gave a nod.

“Thanks Rachel, I can’t believe you are doing this for me after everything I put you through” she said and I smiled.

“Women supporting women” I said and shook her hands. It was stu pid of her to believe I trusted her, I know what I just did could come back to bite me because she is still very much in love with Jayden. But then, thinking of it I believe it was worth the risk.

Having someone from our side on Jayden’s life, especially someone he trusts is the main deal.

“How was it?”Jax asked immediately I walked over to him and I stared at him calmly without saying a word.

“Rachel” he called and I give a nod.

“I talked her into it, I believe she will be going back to his place soon. Let’s just hope everything goes according to the plan” I said and he gave a nod as I walked out of the place..

There is more to the truth I know, the fact that I don’t know how to get my the entire truth was making my head bang with headache.

This just brought me to the fact that, everyone and everything around me was a suspect including my own father.

I needed to be very careful, if Dad and Penny could f uck each other behind my back for years that means anything is possible anyone can stab me in the back. I would get to the bottom of the entire truth no matter how long it takes.

Rachel had been acting different lately, she is always busy and when she is with me she space out a lot, I think she have a lot on her mind. Sometimes it makes me wonder if she is in some kind of trouble or something.

“Dad is everything okay?” Derrick asked curiously and Damien stared at me too…

“Everything is okay, daddy just has a lot on his mind” I said and the boys rushed over to

me.

“Do you want to talk about it Xavier?” Damien asked and I just stared at him. speechlessly.

“I believe I can handle it” I said and they smiled.

“You are the Alpha daddy, you take care of the entire pack including us” Derrick said and that made me emotional.

We talked about random stuff and that is when Rachel made her way into the house.

Jayden walked into Lina’s penthouse and stared at her in shock, he had been coming over for days with the fear that she is died. Even her number was no longer reachable, but here she is lying peaceful on the bed and looking okay.
