My eyes stung with tears as I saw the red prints on his cheeks, my blood boiled with

rage.

I’m going to make sure Rachel pays for letting my son go through s hit and I’m going to start with one of the things that made her relevant, her career.

“I miss Damien” he said and I tried my best to get a grip over my emotions as I bent towards his level.

“Damien misses you just as much as you miss him champ” I said and he hugged me close.

“Slowly Derrick” Xavier said and I smiled.

“It’s Okay” I said smiling.

“Let me show you around my room” Derrick said and just like that I spent an hour plus listening to my son chatter about his best food, best games and everything he likes.

My heart melted in love to get to know my son better.

“Thanks for coming over Rachel” he said as I got ready to leave later in the day.

“I had fun champ, am hoping you would come over when you get better” I said and he gasped.

“Really? Daddy am I allowed to go over to Rachel’s !” he asked excitedly, Xavier looked. at me wondering if he trusted me enough to send his son to my place.

“Please Xavier…” I trailed and he gave a nod.

“You can go over to Rachel’s place if you heal fast and be of good behavior” I said and he smiled.

“Thank you Daddy” he said and I gave a nod.

We we are still in the sitting room talking when Lina stormed inside angrily like a deranged woman.

“I knew it !” she said on top of her voice.

“Why are you shouting ? Xavier asked in shock.

“You are asking me why I’m shouting? I can’t believe this Xavier how can you be so

shameless to the point of inviting your mistress over to our matrimonial home!” she bursted angrily.

“Excuse me !” I said and Xavier stared at me apologetically.

“I’m sorry…” he muttered under his breath.

“You are sorry? there is absolutely nothing to be sorry about Rachel, have some shame and

stop trying to make yourself relevant by engaging yourself in my marriage. Get out of here!” Lina bursted angrily and I stared at her calmly.

“Lina that is enough !” Xavier bursted and she cried.

“What do you even see in her Xavier, she is too weak and you know she is not one of here. How can you shut me out just because of one mistake” she bursted angrily and I did not expect it when she sliced her long nails through my arm injuring me in the

process.

Jayden and some of the Omega’s present took her away as she threw curses at me telling me she is going to make my life a living hell.

“I will make you regret poking yourself in my relationship!” she said and Xavier walked

over to me.

“I’m so sorry” Xavier apologised worriedly.

“I should take my leave” I said and Derrick stared at me.

“Are you okay Rachel ?” he asked worriedly.

“I’m fine champ, be a good boy okay” I said and Xavier said as he saw me outside.

“Your wife is sick Xavier !” I said and he gave a nod.

“I sincerely apologise, I don’t even know what is running through Lina’s mind. I will make it up to you I promise” he said and I gave a nod.

“I have a doctor who can check the injury and…” he trailed.

Going to the pack doctor meant getting my cover blown.

“I will be fine, it doesn’t hurt that bad” I said and he gave a nod as I got into my car and drove out of his compound.

I got to my father’s mansion and Penny was already back from the office, she wasn’t a fan of working late.

“What’s up? how did the meeting go ?” she asked curiously.

“A lot happened” I said and she gasped.

“A lot like what? don’t tell me you got your cover blown” she said worriedly.

“I did not get my cover blown Penny, stop being negative” I said and she sighed in relief.

“I can’t imagine something that bad taking place babe, I was worried through out the time you spent there” she said and I chuckled.

“Derrick has some similarities with Damien Penny, I had a lot of fun with my so. Things turned bad when Lina entered into the house with her bad energy” I said and Penny shook her head as I told her everything.

“Lina is just the most shameless person I have heard about in my entire life” she said and I chuckled.

“That shamelessness is gonna put her in a lot of trouble because the minute she touched me with her wretched hands, she touched the tail of a lion” I said and she gasped.

“She touched you?” Penny asked in shock.

“Yeah, but I’m a werewolf and our wounds dry out almost immediately, I had to leave before Xavier senses something wrong” I said and she sighed.

“A lot happened” Penny said calmly.

“Yes and I have come to a conclusion that Lina would be the first to pay for her misdeeds” I said and she smiled.

“What is the plan ?” she asked excitedly.

“We start with her career, she won’t know what hit her” I said smirking.

“I like the sound of that she said and we both laughed.

As I wanted to exolato her how we are going to go about our plan, my phone rang showing Xaiver’s name as the caller.

“Hello” I said.

“Hi, have you gotten home” he asked from the other end.

“Yes, I got home not quite long” I said.

“I’m really sorry on behalf of my Lina, I hope you have gotten your injury treated” he asked with concern in his voice.

A wale we ended the call.
