I walked around in my chambers trying to get over the fact that my mate killed my father, Emerald have never gave me a reason to doubt her.

“Maybe you should hear her own side of the story am not sure my mate can hurt anyone Rolfe my wolf said and I banged the wall in anger.

“Good morning Alpha, ma’am Emerald has given birth in the outhouse the pack doctor has asked for your presence” my beta Jayden said as he bowed in respect.

‘She gave birth” I muttured under my breath as my mind went back to the fact that it rained heavily the previous night.

“How is the baby?” I asked with concern laced in my

voice.

Jayden walked with me as we took fast strides towards the out house when we I noticed the pack doctor had a worried expression on her face.

“Good morning Alpha Xavier” she said bowing in respect.

“She gave birth to twins but I am afraid we have a sick one among the both of them. The baby is so weak I don’t understand what exactly is wrong with the baby” she said and I raised my eyebrows in question.

I walked out of the outhouse with the pack doctor I could hear her screams and cries. from a distance but I did not give a da mn.

“I need to be alone” I said and made my way into my chamber.

It is been two days, two days since he took my child away from me, two days since my cries and plea fell on deaf ears No one was ready to hear my side of the story my son and I have been left to rot in the outhouse like a s lave with no rights or privilege to live.

Xavier has not stepped his foot on the outhouse ever since he left and I am not allowed to go out and I have no one to help me.

“For months I have watched him cherish you like a queen but then, the crown of Luna belongs to only one person and that is me” she said and I bit my lower l*p to stop the tears that threatened to leave my eyes.

“Lina I seriously don’t want anything else just please tell me what Xavier has done to our son…I just…..” I trailed and she shook her head in pity.

“Your child died the moment he took him from you that is non of my business by the way, I came here to inform you that the Alpha and I will be getting married soon” she said and my heart squeezed with hurt.

“Getting married” I said softly and she smiled.

“Yes, in the presence of every wolf in the pack and there is nothing anyone can do about it” she said and I gave a nod as my heart burned with hurt.

I held the tears that threatened to escape my eyes Immediately she left, I burst out crying badly.

“He killed my son, Xavier killed my baby ” I said as I cried as if that was not enough he is going to marry Lina of all people in the presence of everyone in the pack. I could hear my wolf whimpering in pain at the things he put us through.

For a few days I stayed indoors making plans on how to leave the outhouse I just want to end it all.

It was late in the night when I left the outhouse with my child in my arms. Immediately I sighted the soldiers on patrol I hid behind the bushes with the sleeping child in my arms wiping my tears I stared at the distance from where I was standing to the boarder. I got to the river before the boarder and thought of drowning myself to death with my baby I had no one to turn to, no father, no mother not even a close friend I could rely on maybe leaving this wicked world with my son will give me the peace I have always

“Don’t do this Emerald” Nala said in my head and I burst out crying the baby in my arms got frightened by the sound and burst out crying in pannick.

“I can’t do this Nala, I just can’t how will I watch him get married to someone else? How do we live in the pack knowing we have no one else” I said and stepped into the rushing

“Stop!” someone said behind me and I turned back, it was a middle-aged man that I have never seen. He is tall, handsome and the way he stood make him look so strong.

“Who are you?” I asked.

“I am your father Emerald I know you are confused but trust me I will explain. everything to you just come out of the water please” he said.

“You have everything to live for my child I have been looking everywhere for you and today I have found you” he said and confusion watched over me.

“I know about the unjust treatment and judgement that the Alpha has given to you

but I am here now let me be of help” he said obviously angry about everything as he walked towards me.

I stared at the middle aged man in front of me as he stretched his hand towards me.

“Come on child ” he beckoned towards me trying to convince me..

“The soldiers are on patrol we should get to a safe place I believe they would notice your absence from the outhouse soon” he said and I gave a nod softly.

I just want to go to a place where no one sees the scars he placed in my heart I will go with you wherever you want to go, I said and the baby snuggled into my arms and I raised up my head in determination to revenge.
