Karanveer's POV
I never thought that one day will come like this when I've to fulfill my ambition by not being selfish, but with love and my selfless family beside me.
Three years ago I came back from London just to claim the CEO position by doing whatever it takes...but then I met Naina, who taught me what it takes to love someone.
And now with everything clear, this madness needs to end. My family can't be sacrificed in their massacre anymore.
Right now...me, Naina, dad, mom and mother, we all are here in the board room waiting for the other members and Gagan uncle and Nakul to come, so that we could end this once and for all.
Deepak is at home as he is almost near in retrieving Naina's footage when she was attacked by Nakul.
Shreya is looking after my son with Deeya.
But I saw Naina beside the window looking nervous. She was rubbing her hands constantly.
"Hey are you okay?" I grabbed her to make her stop but she was still sacred.
"Karan...is my Veer fine. He is protected right?"
What is up with her? Of course he is protected. No one could harm him.
"Yeah...he is okay and fine. You know he's with Shreya so why are you so insecure about him?"
"You've no idea what Nakul did with me that night...what he wanted to do with our son. What if he harms him?"
Well I never asked her what happened that night, but Nakul could never reach my son.
"Don't worry, he can't even touch my Veer's hair. I promise Naina."
I kissed her knuckles and settled on our respective chairs when Nic announced that all members are here.
Nic...son of a bitch, he is the one who fired my house and hit me with truck. He is the only person who was constantly working with Nakul and backstabbing me all this time.
As everyone entered the room all were shocked watching Naina and mother. Even Gagan uncle was panicking seeing mom.
Now let the show begin.
Naina's POV
Everyone was watching me in horror...well I'm use to it now, but I guess Anika aunty was experiencing the same.
The room was filled with whispers but dad stood up and drank his glass of water before starting.
"Gentlemen... I'll make it short. As you see Naina is alive and so is my first wife...so me and my son demand our shares back."
"But how's it possible Abhiman? We've already announced our successor."
One elder member stated, making Nakul smirk towards me and Karan. I held his hand so that he couldn't do anything wrong.
"Yes we did, but that was different... Karan didn't complete the rules then, but now he has. He is married, has a kid and he's going to be thirty next month. Which proves that still the race is on for the worthy CEO. And besides he has majority of shares already."
Everyone went more confused but Gagan uncle lowered his eyes as if accepting his defeat. Nakul clenched his fist tightly to control his anger.
What is happening with them? How come they are not doing anything or saying something?
"To reduce your confusion... Naina is Vikram's daughter. Which makes her the largest shareholder."
Everyone gasped watching me and Nakul started to grind his teeth.
"And Deepak is also his son...which also makes him one of the board member again. You need to give his shares back Nakul."
Karan said smiling to Nakul who was breathing hard in anger and was shocked to hear his name but Gagan uncle grabbed his hand to calm him down. He instantly got rid from his grip and diverted his eyes to dad.
But where is Deepak? What is taking him so much time?
"In order to get your shares back you need to first prove me unworthy of the position... which I'm not."
Nakul boasted but Anika aunty got up and started.
"How can be a person who tried to kill his competitor for the position could become the CEO?"
"I don't know what you're saying...."
"But we know."
Dad said cutting him and signaled me to play both the footage.
First one showed how Nic got in the house and then he cut some wires in the electricity room. Karan was walking close to it so he got burnt.
Second one showed how Nic drove the truck and hit Karan's car like a small child smashes his toy car.
The car turned into pieces leaving Karan lying in the glass shards soaked his own blood.
Mom gulped watching it but gave a death glare to Nakul after wiping her lone tear.
"It doesn't prove that I did something or not. It was Nic who did it...not me. "
"But he did it because you said so.."
I said in irritation. Why the fuck isn't he admitting?
"No...I didn't...what proof do you have that makes me the conspirator? These videos are nothing but you all are trying to frame me...maybe Nic did it because he was unhappy with Karan? You're showing it because you can't prove me unworthy."
He said smirking on Karan and me. Sure this doesn't prove his guilt but I remember that night...if we get that footage, we can prove it.
But Deepak said he'll retrieve it...where the hell is he?
Suddenly the door burst open revealing him.
Thank God! My brother is here!
"Sorry uncle I'm late but I have it."
He gave dad the pen drive and sat beside Karan giving us a warm smile and death glare to a confused Nakul.
"What...what is it? What have you brought Deepak?"
Dad plugged it in and the video started of that night when Nakul came to assault me.

Naina was horrified as Karan's phone was unreachable.
"What have you done with him!" She screamed on his approaching Father.
"Nothing... just what I wanted to do with you...he must be dead by now."
Her eyes filled with tears hearing this and clenched her stomach as if protecting her unborn child but she was pushed on the ground by a kick in her back.
It was Nakul who did that. His forehead was bleeding hard where Naina hit him with her laptop.
She felt pain in her body but had only one thing in her mind...to protect Karan's last memory, his child.
Suddenly Pradeep kicked her on her stomach making her crying and shout in pain.
She couldn't do anything... she felt so weak that time.
Nakul grabbed her hair and made her stand on the ground weakly.
Her tears were begging him to leave...but he mercilessly dragged her like an animal.
"Please leave me Nakul...I'm pregnant! Please leave me.."
He left her immediately in shock.
"This can't be true...that child could ruin me...you need to die Naina.."
He said grabbing her by neck and choking her lightly.
"No... please no..."
Before she could say anything, she felt a bang on her head and fell on the ground unconscious.
It was Pradeep who hit her with a nearby fire extinguisher cylinder.
"What did you do Pradeep!"
"I did what you wanted Nakul...I killed her as you said so."
"Yes I wanted to kill her but first I wanted to kill her emotionally then physically. Now pick her up you moron...we need to make it look like an accident."
Pradeep picked her but Nakul received a call .
"Yes Nic...is Karan finished?"
He smiled as he got a good news. Even Pradeep smiled as their plan had work.
He saw the CCTV with his piercing eyes trying to remove all their committed crime.
"Don't worry Pradeep... I'll take care of the footage."
They both put Naina in the her car and drove away towards the lake.
Third person's POV
The video stopped, making everyone gasp while looking at Nakul. Even Gagan was horrified watching his son in this madness for power.
Karan got up angrily and grabbed Nakul's collar and punched him hard on his face.
"How could you think of killing my son! How dare you touch my wife!"
His voice roared in the whole room making Deepak stand behind Karan so that he could stop him.
"This is the beginning..."
Nakul said while smirking and looking towards Abhiman.
Abhiman was sweating and shaking. He clenched his chest and fell on the ground closing his eyes.
Both Meeta and Anika ran towards him to control his fading breathes.
"What have you done with my father!"
Karan asked controlling his tears as he saw his father dying.
"What my father did with his...I poisoned him. And you'll die too!"
Nakul pushed Karan, got hold of his gun and shot in his direction.
That sound echoed through the room and made Naina skip her heartbeat when she realized what happened.
Deepak pushed Karan throwing him on the ground and took the bullet in his abdomen.
He saw Naina for one last time and fell unconscious on the floor.
Gagan was scared to see his son like this. He got up to get hold of his gun but Nakul pushed him and ran out of the room.
"Go get him Karan!"
Naina screamed making him move and lied down on knees beside Deepak clenching his constant bleeding bullet wound with her hands. She can't loose her family like this.
Anika got up watching the whole scene and started speaking to a terrified Gagan.
"See what your son has done! You destroyed our family Gagan...but your son will kill us all with his own hands. I didn't know your ambition could lead to this one day!"
Gagan saw his own brother begging for one more breath and his once friend Vikram's son lying in his own blood as his daughter was trying to keep him alive with tears on her face.
But before he could do anything... Abhiman shut his eyes and Deepak's breathing slowed.

Anything can happen. Honestly it took me whole one day to write this longest chapter in the story and a good climax.
