Naina's POV
I was getting ready for the office in the closet but I felt tight grip on my waist.
Veer snaked his arms around me and kissed my exposed neck. This is the daily routine...even my concealer has given up on his hickeys!
Everyday I have to wear some high neck or cover my neck with a scarf, because he never stops doing this.
"Happy two month anniversary Miss Loud."
He kissed me cheek and rested his chin on my shoulder looking us together in the reflection of front mirror.
"Happy two month anniversary my royal husband!"
We shared a brief kiss as he wants to save all of it for our night.
Every night he beings so rough...but with the morning he is always ready to take care of me.
That's the thing I love about him.
"Did you see your gynecologist yesterday?"
"Yeah, she'll send me my reports by tonight."
For the last three days I am not feeling well. I fell nauseous and throw up my breakfast just after consuming it. I've no idea how this morning sickness built up in me. God knows what's happening in my body.
"Give me your wrist."
I gave him my hand and he buckled a silver watch with pink small rhinestone around the simple dial, on my wrist.
"What's this for Veer?"
"It's my mother's watch, dad gave her on their first anniversary. When she left I got it but I always wanted you to have it. Did you like it?"
He gave me an anxious look.
"I love it."
He chuckled and hugged me tightly.
Deep down I know be loves his mother and wants her to come back. He still has her photo in his wallet...and maybe in his heart too.
"Hey...when are mom and dad returning from New York?"
"Maybe till midnight. We'll celebrate with them Naina."
Mom and dad were still in New York for over a month...what is it there that they go there so much?
I'll never come to know.
Karanveer's POV
It's 8 PM now and we are still at the office. Our employees have left which makes me and Naina working in our respective offices.
I can't live without her...she like an addiction to me. Every night we make love and she taught me the real meaning of it.
Previously I thought girls are for our needs, for fun...but she literally changed me.
I don't want leave her right now... but I've to go to airport to fetch parents, it's been so long I last saw them.
I knocked her cabin's door and walked in when she said so. She was working on her laptop vigorously hitting her keyboard.
"Naina.. let's go to the airport, then home it's late."
"I can't, I found some glitches in our security system...I need to fix it right now."
She didn't even bulge her eyes of the screen, she's so dedicated.
"Well I need to go to the airport..."
"Yeah I remember, you go I'll come home by my car. It's parked here."
"Are you sure...you don't feel dizzy or nauseous..."
"No I'm fine...go don't be late."
I got to the door and was abut to shut it...but something came in me not to leave her, I glanced at her but she was engrossed in her work.
"Naina!"
I called her loudly to get her attention which worked.
"I love you Naina."
"I love you Veer."
We exchanged our smiles and proceeded with our work.
I don't know why am I getting mixed feelings for her right now. Should I leave her or not?
Naina's POV
Thank God he left! He already interrupted me and wasted my time. But I feel I want him to come back. I want him now.
I'm having some mixed feelings for him... he'll be alright.
My phone buzzed, it was my gynecologist.
"Hello Mrs Sanghi, your I've your reports about your recent health issues."
"Hi, what does it say? It's isn't anything major right?"
"Yes... it's more than major."
What does she mean? She's scaring me.
"What is it doctor?"
"Congratulations, you're one week pregnant."
I took a moment to process this info... I'm pregnant. A life is growing inside me.
My and Veer's child. This the only happiness I wanted...my complete family. Everyone will be so happy to hear this.
Tears fell from my eyes but I got back in reality when my doctor told me to take care and come for a check up tomorrow.
We hung up...I am going to be a mother. I touched my stomach to fell him/her.
Your mother promises to protect you from anything and you'll the get the best father and family ever, I promise.
I wiped my tears and saw my cabin's door open. Must be Veer... he'll be so delighted to hear this news.
"Hello Bhabi."
What the hell is he doing here? I saw his evil smirk, he gently closed the door.
Third person's POV
Naina hid her phone secretly in her back pocket and tightly held her laptop closing it.
"What are you doing here Nakul?"
He walked closer to her chair and stood near her but Naina managed to get up.
"Naina Sharma...the fucking hacker in our family, whose father calls her the right word. Slut! Who ruined my life. "
She was shocked to see his this side but she wasn't in the mood to hit or something as she was in a vulnerable position now.
A life was growing inside her and she has to take care of her first.
"What do you want Nakul?"
"You!"
He tried to grab her hair but she hit her laptop hard on his head making him unconscious on the floor.
She unlocked the door and carefully ran to the parking lot not straining her energy.
Only a single thought came in her mind.... Karan.
She called him again and again but his phone always responded switched off.
She gulped in fear...what if something happened to him? What would she'll do without him?
"Don't worry Naina...he is in a lot better place now."
She saw him coming towards her slowly...but he wasn't Nakul.
"Father.."
Her spine was sent chills when she saw her own father, Pradeep joined hands with that ambitious Nakul.
Far away Karan was driving his car in a vibrant mood only thinking of her love...Naina, how to make their anniversary better, make her happy.
He was only a few minutes away from the airport...but before he could do anything, a truck collided to his car, crashing it into pieces.
The car was smashed too badly that the car window glass pierced his body like the snow covers the ground in winter...leaving him breathing hard for life.
His body was soaked in his own blood which made no difference in a human or a blood red cloth.
Until his eyes shut close...he was only thinking of his only life... Naina.
Two lives were at stake...one wanted to save the life growing inside her...and the other wanted to see his life for the last time.
