Chapter 21 Her identity

Karanveer's POV

"We need to figure out who did this, Veer."

My head was resting on her lap and she was my ruffling hair, relaxing my tension lying on our bed.

If she wasn't here today...mom would've burned me alive, but she talked to mom and now she is resting with dad in their room.

I closed my eyes and snuggled more towards her stomach. Her tension was justified, but I know how to deal with it.

"Don't worry...get ready for our reception. Remember?"

"Here I am worried for you and you are thinking of our reception? Mom and I thought to cancel it."

What...no! If they do that, we won't be able to find the real culprit behind the fire, and I don't want to disclose my plan to anyone...it would compromise their security.

I can't tell Naina or either of our parents.

If we have a reception, the culprit would come to see my condition. And I know who is that someone.

But I need proof.

Someone destroyed our home security to enter our mansion. It was all same as office's which Naina broke.

Maybe I should ask for her help.

"Hey, police said that someone destroyed our security to get in the mansion. Can you check it?"

"Now?"

I nodded and sat beside her passing my laptop to her.

"Security is same as the office's that you broke."

"Then it would be easy to access it."

She continued typing different programs for a few minutes but after few minutes I sensed tension towards her.

"What happened Naina?"

"This is incredible, the security is awesome."

What is she saying? If it's good then why was she able to hack it? Why it was destroyed then? I am confused.

"Naina... please explain it clearly." I asked her calmly and she started showing me the screen.

"Okay, I broke into your system and hacked in your shares, but I didn't destroy it. But someone destroyed your system temporarily for few minutes inserting a worm to come inside the house and fire the room. This system is so advanced from its time that makes itself indestructible, but I don't know how...I can change it. These equations and programs seems familiar to me. It's like someone built it only to change by me. "

"This is so strange. It's so unpredictable."

I am trying to change this system for last 3 months but every single programmer said the same thing, it's unchangeable, indestructible.

But Naina...she can change it. How?

Maybe it's time for it, she should make a new system immediately. I can't risk my family anymore.

"Naina how fast can you create a new system? Built it quickly, I can't risk our lives anymore."

She cupped my face and kissed my forehead then smiled shyly, blush covering her face.

"Don't worry your highness Angraj, building this program is my first priority. I'll do it ASAP. We're in this together."

My smile barged my worries. She understands me completely, even looking at me. She knows how to calm me down.

I pecked her lips softly and kissed her forehead.

"What's with this name? What's this name you call me...you need to tell me now."

Her eyes went wide open as if I asked her something inappropriate.

"You don't know? It's mythology...your name means someone very nice. Angraj was his title. He was a good flawed man who deserved a lot, but he died unfortunately."

"Tell me more..."

She pushed me on the bed lightly and covered me in blanket.

"Google it, it's a long story. We need to sleep... tomorrow is a long day. Our reception."

She kissed my nose and rested her head on my chest holding me tightly. I chuckled on her antics and held her too.

My Naina...I promise to protect you, whatever it takes.

Because...I love you.

I love you Naina.

And I'll confess it pretty soon.

Third person's POV

Both Abhiman and Meeta were shocked with the fire incident, but when they were reading the file , a ray of hope made a way in their life.

"What is it Abhiman...is Naina the missing piece we were finding all these years?"

An anxious Meeta asked in order to get a pacifying answer.

"Yes Meeta...yes it's her. Naina is his daughter!"

Both were happy but worried too, if this information reaches the hands of Gagan Sanghi, his elder brother...he would go to any extinct to ruin him and Karan.

"We'll protect her Abhiman if only we tell Karan...."

"No we can't tell him now Meeta...this is not the right time to reveal all these secrets we kept from him, it could harm him."

"But one day we have to tell him, and he is going to hate us for keeping them."

"I'm ready to take these risks if it comes to protect our future, our Karan and Naina."

Meeta thought for few minutes and then understood the situation. But she asked the question that bothered her next.

"Did you find Naina's brother and his son?"

"I think I did, and he is safe."

On the other hand in Gagan Sanghi's home office.

Nakul is sitting beside the wooden table and Gagan is resting on his large chair across the table.

"He didn't die in that fucking fire dad! How much time do I need to wait for making Sanghi hotel group mine!"

He screamed hard banging his hand in the table. But an angry look given by his father Gagan ordered him to shut up.

"Karan doesn't know who Naina is, her hacking skills gave us path to worm their system, but not destroy it completely."

"But how dad, that Naina broke into our system and we are trying to do that for years! How come she knows the solution?"

"Because my son... Naina is his daughter. And both Karan and Naina are unaware of it..."

Nakul was beyond shock but he needs answers.

"What! But Vikram uncle is dead...I heard his wife also died.."

"That's bothering me too...I'll figure it out soon."

"And his son ...he is of our use too dad."

Displeasure covered Gagan's face hearing his failure.

"I am unable to find him, but I'll get him soon, son"

"But that Naina is a nuisance dad, she is like fire and Karan ignites her. She is keeping him happy and clam. She is with him...I guess they both love each other..."

A wicked plan was already registered in Gagan's mind, like the same he did years ago.

"My son, Naina is your key to CEO and claiming the position. Get her into your charms and you'll get it easily, or destroy Karan and Naina like I did years ago with Abhiman and his first wife. Got it my son?"

"Yes dad, Naina is mine or no one's."

He got out of the study to claim Naina or destroy to Karan, ambitions were making him blind and his father was preparing him for the unexpected not even thinking about his son's future anymore, just for his stupid desire.
