Chapter 892:
Gabrielaâs little hand patted Bryanâs cheek.
âDaddy, Mommyâs so pretty!â she exclaimed, pointing at Eileen.
âShe is,â Bryan agreed, âBut I canât get close to her.â
Gabrielaâs eyes widened in confusion. She was too young to understand Bryanâs frustration.
âHey, Gabriela,â Bryan said, deciding to try a different tactic. While Leyla was occupied with the guests, he found a quiet corner.
âYou havenât slept in Mommyâs room for days. How about you sleep in my room tonight?â
Gabrielaâs chubby arm rested on Bryanâs shoulder. She happily agreed, âOkay, Daddy!â
Even though Gabriela was excited, it didnât make Bryan feel happy.
âWhat about your Mommy, Gabriela? Wouldnât you like to sleep in the same room as her too? Youâll have to convince Mommy to come sleep with both of us. Then, weâll all sleep in the same room. Wouldnât that be great?â
âI only want to sleep in Daddyâs room!â Gabriela declared, causing Bryanâs veins to throb in his temples.
âSweety, Iâm happy you love me so much. But youâve got to love Mommy too. Convince Mommy to stay in my room with you, alright?â
Gabriela wasnât having it.
âNope! I only want Daddy!â
Bryan was left speechless.

âThe wedding ceremony is about to begin,â the emcee announced.
The emcee gave a brief welcome before inviting the bride and groom to come to the stage.
Conroy was shoved onto the stage by a group of burly bodyguards. He looked disheveled, the boutonniere on his suit almost falling off.
Gianna was also shoved onto the stage. She was still in yesterdayâs clothes, her corsage half-destroyed. She had been sleeping in the living room recently. Her clothes were rumpled, her expression dark. She looked nothing like a happy bride.
The crowd gasped.
âWhatâs going on? They couldnât even bother to get her a wedding dress?â
âSomethingâs definitely not rightâ¦â
The whispers grew louder.
Looking at the bodyguards, Conroy and Gianna had no choice but to walk forward until they stood before Leyla.
Leylaâs eyes were like daggers.
âKneel!â she commanded, her voice booming.
Conroy almost obeyed on instinct, but Gianna grabbed his arm to stop him.
âMom, come on,â she pleaded. âWeâre family. Donât humiliate us like this.â
âFamily?â Leyla scoffed. She stood up from her wheelchair, moving past the stunned couple. She turned to address the crowd. âGianna and Conroy are part of the Vazquez family. One is an adopted daughter, the other, the husband of my own daughter. But I think theyâve forfeited their place in the Vazquez family. Today, I officially remove them from the family. From now on, they will have nothing to do with the Vazquez family! Theyâre monsters! They cheated on my daughter and had a child, a daughter only a few years younger than Eileen. Itâs disgusting!â
âWhat is happening here?â
