Chapter 772:
In fact, Julio had no intention of coercing Eileen into speaking; he had raised his voice only because he had been too eager for the answer. Bryan, however, didnât care about his reasons. He believed Julio had no right to direct his frustration at Eileen.
After some time, Julio composed himself. âMr. Dawson, I apologize for my rashness. This is a personal matter, and I will deal with it on my own.â
âBest of luck, Mr. Ferguson. For work-related issues, please coordinate with Eileen online. And avoid private meetings unless absolutely necessary. She has a lot on her plate,â Bryan said as he stood, his hand gently sliding down Eileenâs arm to hold her hand.
As they were about to leave, Gabriela dashed over, her arms stretched wide for a hug.
Bryan stooped to lift Gabriela into his arms, one hand still holding Eileenâs, the other cradling the child. He gave Julio a brief nod.
âIf you need any assistance, feel free to reach out to Raymond. Heâll be able to help.â
Raymond stood there, momentarily at a loss for words. Bryan refused to let Julio bother his wife, but he was more than willing to let Julio bother his assistant?
âCertainly, Mr. Ferguson. Iâve given you my card before. Feel free to reach out if you need anything,â Raymond replied. He offered a respectful smile and a slight nod before exiting the suite with Bryan.
Once outside, Bryan directed Raymond to manage all of Julioâs requests and ensure that Eileen was not disturbed.
âRest assured, Mr. Dawson, Iâll ensure Mr. Fergusonâs needs are completely satisfied,â Raymond said, his smile strained but his attitude respectful.

Eileen, with Gabriela in her arms, followed Bryan as they made their way to the VQ Group.
They arrived slightly later than usual, and the parking lot was quiet when they pulled in.
After getting out of the passenger seat, Eileen went to the back of the car to unfasten Gabriela from her car seat. She then spoke quietly to Bryan about Dalores and Julio.
Jessica watched the scene unfold with a scowl. She muttered to herself, âWhatâs the deal here? Sheâs just a nanny, but sheâs riding in the front while the child is left alone in the back? Conroy said I could do whatever it takes to deal with her. Letâs see how youâll handle this, you shameless womanâ¦â
She then entered the elevator, seething with anger.
At noon, Eileen and Bryan, with Gabriela in tow, enjoyed a meal at the canteen and intended to rest in Bryanâs office afterward. However, as they were heading back, Jessica intercepted them, saying, âMr. Dawson, I need to speak with Eileen. You and your daughter go ahead and get some rest. Iâll make sure Eileenâs back before the afternoon work begins.â
âAlright,â Eileen responded before Bryan had a chance to object.
Bryan still reminded Jessica, âMiss Marshall, please ensure she returns safely in the afternoon.â
âCertainly,â Jessica replied.
She then led Eileen to the administrative department, where it was quiet. Most people were resting during their lunch break. âThe cleaning lady is absent today. Youâll need to handle the cleaning here. Everyone else is busy with their tasks, and we canât afford any delays. Since youâre the least occupied, youâre the ideal choice.â Jessica gestured toward the broom and bucket tucked away in the corner.
Eileen pressed her lips together and surveyed the room. A few people feigned sleep, clearly not wanting to get involved. After all, Jessica wielded an authoritative presence in the company.
