Chapter 746:
Kinsey and Conroy noticed this, and their expressions abruptly shifted. Conroy quickly pulled Quinton, who was standing nearby, to take a seat.
Now, the table was too small for them. Kinsey had to move to the table where Lenny and Eileen were seated. He sat across from Eileen.
In an irritated tone that only Eileen could hear, he said, âDidnât I tell you to leave?â
âIâm trying to save money for you,â Eileen whispered back. âThe money you just gave me will cover our meals for several days. Plus, Lenny has already bought me lunch, so itâd be a waste not to eat.â
Lenny leaned closer abruptly and asked Eileen and Kinsey, âDo you two know each other?â
Kinsey quickly replied, âNo, we donât. And please donât talk too much while eating.â
With that, he started eating.
Seeing this, Lenny quickly stopped talking.
Bryan played along with Eileenâs act. Understanding that Eileen wanted to keep Kinseyâs and Conroyâs identities hidden, he chose to ignore Conroyâs small actions.
Bryan shifted his position to hold Gabriela more comfortably, but this position made it difficult for him to eat.
âMr. Dawson, may I hold her for you?â The young woman set her fork down and asked Bryan tentatively.
âNo, thank you,â Bryan declined immediately.
Despite Bryanâs refusal, the young woman stood up and approached. âItâs fine, I know how to hold a child.â

The woman felt uncomfortable but didnât move.
Eventually, Bryan stood up.
The woman, mistakenly believing Bryan was about to hand Gabriela to her, felt a surge of joy. She extended her hand, but Bryan deftly avoided her reach.
Bryan then walked directly to Eileen and asked, âExcuse me, could you hold the baby for me?â
Eileen coughed, obviously taken aback. She placed her hand on her forehead to hide her astonished expression.
Eileen was shocked by Bryanâs action.
Who would even think of asking someone else to take care of their child while they eat?
To anyone unfamiliar with her relationship with Bryan, it would seem like he had lost his mind.
Obviously, no one present was aware of her relationship with Bryan.
People around them stretched their necks and gaped with wide eyes.
Eileen took a deep breath to compose herself, shot Bryan a covert glare, and then addressed him formally, âSir, I donât think we are acquainted.â
âExactly. Iâm just asking for your help. Will you do it?â Bryan responded earnestly.
