“Eileen, we could expand and set up branches all over the country. Don’t you think?” Bailee said.

Bailee added, “But it’s just a suggestion. It’s fine if you’re not up for it. It would require a lot of time and effort.”

After pondering for a moment, Eileen asked, “Are you two planning a wedding?”

Bailee and Huey stared at her, caught off guard by the sudden change in topic.

“I just believe that every woman dreams of a grand wedding. Something to look back on without any regrets, you know,” Eileen continued, arching her eyebrows. “As for the educational agency, that’s your call. You get to decide how to invest and plan. Consider it my wedding gift to you.”

Every quarter, Bailee would send her a copy of the agency’s financial statements and transfer money to her account. As Eileen spoke, Gabriela, a bundle of energy, started running around, causing a ruckus. Eileen seized the moment to chase after her, ensuring Bailee had no chance to argue.

Huey leaned back in his chair and let out a long sigh. “Listen, we don’t have any grand plans. My studio makes enough to get by. But if you two keep arguing about the educational agency, why don’t you just take it? Eileen is doing this for your benefit.”

Bailee looked at him, words caught in her throat. She was squirming at the suggestion.
