“You look frightened.” He smiled and kissed her gently. “Josue arrived just in time with his ex-wife’s brother and saved us. But Coen managed to escape. Now, they’re pursuing him with everything they’ve got.”

This incident hadn’t hit the news yet, and many failed arrests like this would be kept a secret.

So, even if Eileen tried to find out more, she wouldn’t be able to.

However, Bryan was telling the truth. Dewitt had arrived just after he had injected the drug.

Coen had made it to the rooftop and escaped by helicopter. Many of his men had been killed on the spot.
