Chapter 1087:
âWe have guests here,â a servant announced, hurrying into the room. Noticing Bryan reprimanding Eileen, the servant lowered her gaze respectfully.
Eileen gently tapped Bryanâs arm, signaling him to show some respect when others were around. Bryan grunted in response and released her.
âWho are the guests?â Eileen asked, straightening her clothes.
âWhere is my grandmother?â
âSheâs in the living room. Members of the Aston family are here. Your grandmother asked me to check if youâd like to see them,â the servant replied deferentially.
Eileen took a moment to consider the Aston familyâs intentions. âInvite them in. Iâll be there shortly.â She retreated to her room to change into something more fitting before heading to the living room.
Upon arriving, she found Leyla already there, mingling with a group of people who had taken their seats.
As Eileen entered, several pairs of eyes turned toward her, and the atmosphere grew noticeably tense.
Keith rose from his seat with a courteous nod and a smile. âEileen.â
Eileen greeted him, returning his smile. She then turned to the others, her smile polite and friendly as she greeted them. Kamila deliberately ignored the greeting, while Jaliyahâs expression was one of clear disdain.
Keithâs expression darkened instantly. âWhy on earth did I bring you here? Donât you have a clue about what I want you to do?â

Kamila glanced sideways at Jaliyah. With a reluctant sigh, Jaliyah rose from her seat and said, âIâm here to apologize to you, Eileen. I shouldnât have posted that online. If thereâs an issue, we should handle it privately.â
âWhat do you mean?â Eileen arched an eyebrow and continued, âSo you apologized because you regret posting it online, but you still donât think you were wrong. Am I getting that right?â
Keithâs gaze remained fixed on Jaliyah.
Jaliyah squirmed under the scrutiny. âIâve said Iâm sorry. Why are you making such a big deal out of it?â
Jaliyah and Kamila were clearly coerced by Keith to come here and apologize. Neither of them had uttered a genuine apology, while the other stubbornly denied she was in the wrong.
Keithâs brow furrowed deeper, his embarrassment growing with every passing moment. If things continued down this path, the Aston family was headed straight for another storm of chaos. âI wonât take it to heart. Letâs just move on. We can pretend we donât know each other if we cross paths again,â Eileen said with a smile as she walked over and sat beside Leyla.
âWhat do you mean by that?â Jaliyah blinked in surprise. She hadnât anticipated such a response from Eileen. âAre you planning to strike when I least expect it? Did you record my apology on video?â
She cast a wary glance around, suspicion in her eyes. It seemed she thought Eileen might be plotting to use her apology to humiliate her. But there was no camera in sight. Jaliyah approached Eileen, grabbing her with a swift motion.
