“The yard is covered by CCTV cameras. Please think twice before making any moves,” Eileen said.

She knew Kamila and Jaliyah wanted to stir up trouble. Kamila would get hurt and shift the blame to Eileen. The matter of them apologizing to Eileen would be ignored, and they could even force Eileen to apologize. Kamila felt humiliated and irritated now. The sudden exposure of Jaliyah’s fake pregnancy had left her reeling, and she hadn’t even fully processed it yet.

While she had been trying to come to terms with all of this, Jaliyah had proposed a silly plan, and she had impulsively gone along with it. Now, she had made another mistake.

“Enough!” Keith couldn’t stand it anymore. He approached them and cautioned in a low voice, “Don’t embarrass yourselves further. Go home now!”

Jaliyah was taken aback by Keith’s unusual display of anger, and she wisely chose to remain silent.

Kamila, angry at being rebuked in public, shot back, “If you’re playing peacemaker, you must consider the Aston family’s reputation. Jaliyah’s actions will reflect on our family’s reputation!”

“So, it’s only your reputation that matters, huh? Eileen also has her reputation to consider, you know?” Keith said angrily. “We are in the wrong here! In three days, you two will apologize to Eileen together. That’s final. Now, leave!”

“No way!” Kamila shot Eileen a fierce glance and then declared to Keith, “You expect me to apologize to her? I’d rather die than do that!”

Then, she turned around and stormed off.

Jaliyah glared at Eileen and then ran after Kamila.

“Mr., it’s getting late. We need to head back to the Vazquez Mansion now.” Eileen turned around and got into Bryan’s car.

Keith approached the car, leaned in through the open window, and said, “Eileen, I promise to make things right for you. I apologize for causing you trouble today.”

After a moment’s thought, Eileen lowered the window fully and said, “Forget it. I’m heading back to Onalande soon anyway. Whether they apologize or not is irrelevant. As long as you help me clear up the situation and address the media, that’s sufficient.”

Eileen knew that if she stayed, Kamila would never leave her alone. For Keith’s sake, she decided to leave.

Keith gripped the car handle tightly. “You are leaving? You’ve made up your mind about this? What about your grandma?”

“I’m going to take Grandma with me.” Noticing the intense emotions in Keith’s gaze, Eileen added, “The VQ Group’s affairs have been adequately addressed. We’ll make occasional visits here in the future, but our stays will be brief.”

“So… you won’t live here anymore?” Keith said in a lonely tone.

His relationship with Eileen had become quite awkward now. Going forward, whenever Eileen returned, she wouldn’t be able to invite him to a one-on-one gathering. This meant that he was unlikely to see Eileen in the future.

After a prolonged silence, he exhaled heavily and relaxed his grasp on the door handle. “Alright, you can head back now. In three days, I’ll arrange for a press conference to apologize to you.”
