Chapter 1054:
At the villaâs entrance, Gianna was locked in a fierce dispute with a stranger, her face reddened by frustration.
Eileenâs curiosity got the better of her, and she lowered the car window.
âI had no plan of selling this villa before!â Gianna exclaimed. âYou managed to acquire the property at a steal, yet youâre still crying to negotiate an even better deal on the remaining items!â
âMaâam, the total value of these furnishings is substantial,â the man shot back. âYouâre well aware of the terms outlined in the contract. Yet, youâve removed all the items, which is a clear violation of the contract.â
âNonsense!â Gianna countered. âI bought all these furnishings myselfâ¦â
âThen why did you remove the items secretly in the dead of night? If you continue to press the issue, Iâll have no choice but to involve the authorities. Donât you know that Iâve already made the agreed-upon payment?â the man said.
Eileen rolled the car window up, a sly smile spreading across her face as she watched Giannaâs angry expression.
While the villa had been sold for a sizable sum, it was not enough to match Giannaâs and Jessicaâs lavish spending habits.
What was more, there was still the issue of Conroyâs unpaid debts to deal with.
From now on, Gianna and Jessica were bound to suffer.
But there were more pressing issues to deal with, so Eileen shifted her focus to the information Raymond had gathered on Miranda.
Feel the magic at gαâηÏνððsâ¤cοð¶ According to the information, Jaliyah and Miranda had been friends since childhood. So bribing Miranda was out of the question. The only thing they could do now was trick Miranda.
Eileen took out her phone to call Raymond and instructed him to deploy his men to the airport. Just thirty minutes later, Bryan arrived at the parking lot of the airport. After getting out of the car, he leaned against it, a cigarette dangling from his lips. As Eileen stepped out of the car, he asked, âAre you sure about this plan? Youâre really going there alone?â
âWithout a doubt. Our people are already there,â Eileen responded confidently.
Bryan loosened his tie and finished his cigarette. He then threw the butt into the trash can and walked into the airport with Eileen.
âI wonât interfere,â he assured her when he saw Eileen frown. He knew she wanted to do this alone.
Eileen waited until Bryan selected a strategic spot in a second-floor café with a view of the waiting area. Then she made her way towards Miranda.
Eileen and her bodyguards bought coffee for everyone in the café, using the gesture to ask everyone to leave and clear the area.
In a matter of minutes, the space was empty, leaving only Miranda, visibly anxious, and Eileen.
Miranda glanced at her watch more and more frequently, anxiously counting down the moments until her planned escape.
Suddenly, Eileen sat across from Miranda, her fingers drumming a staccato beat on the table. Each tap resonated like a drumbeat in Mirandaâs chest, leaving her gasping for air.
