Chapter 1036:
âDid you really believe that Eileen is pregnant just because Jaliyah told you so?â Kamila walked over with a dark expression, her gaze locking onto Jessica. âItâs clear youâve been too trusting. And do you really intend to drag our Aston family into this mess? Youâre out of line!â
Getting Jaliyah into trouble was an easy task for Jessica. However, Kamila was determined not to let Jaliyah disgrace the Aston family. Even if others viewed the Aston family as unreasonable, she was adamant that Jaliyah remain uninvolved in the scandal. Noticing Keithâs concerned frown and his effort to restrain his anger, Eileen chose to remain silent.
âWhat do you mean?â Jessica asked, still puzzled. âJaliyah, tell everyone that you told me that Eileenâs pregnant. Didnât you ask me toââ
Kamila interjected sharply, âShut up!â
Jessica was left without words.
âThe bet is just between you and me. It involves no one else,â Eileen said to Jessica. âIf you donât know how to accept defeat, I can teach you.â
Suddenly, an idea struck Jessica, and she exclaimed, âIâm sorry!â She then turned and ran off, shoving Jaliyah in the process. Jaliyah lost her balance and stumbled into Kamila. The two collided with a table. The impact caused the table to topple, spilling wine on them and creating a chaotic mess.
The crowd quickly rushed over, trying to help them to their feet. Eileen whispered to Bryan, âHave someone follow Jessica. Raymond is outside. He knows what to do.â Bryan held Eileenâs wrist and led her away to avoid further trouble.
He walked ahead of Eileen, shielding her through the dense crowd while keeping an eye on Kamila and Jaliyah.

Several people helped Kamila to her feet first and then turned their attention to Jaliyah. Amid the confusion, someone said, âOh, how could we forget that Jaliyah is pregnant? Are you alright, Jaliyah?â
Suddenly, everyone grew anxious again. They helped Jaliyah to a chair and expressed their concern.
Jaliyah, who had been clutching her waist, stopped rubbing it upon hearing the others and quickly reassured them, âIâm fine. I donât feel any pain at all.â
âLetâs ask the doctor to examine her just to be safe,â Eileen suggested, noticing the worry on Keithâs and his sonâs faces. After all, the child Jaliyah was carrying was a member of the Aston family.
However, Jaliyah sprang up and said impatiently, âI donât need your fake concern! I know how I feel. The baby is fine!â With that, she grabbed Kamila, who had just sat down to catch her breath, and said, âAre you okay? Letâs go to the hospital!â
Jaliyah quickly pulled Kamila away. Given Kamilaâs possible injury, she had no strength to protest.
Watching them leave, Eileen frowned, lost in thought. Keith asked Harrell to clear the crowd and then approached to apologize to Eileen. âIâm sorry. I didnât expect that to happen.â
Eileen smiled and said, âItâs fine, just a misunderstanding.â Knowing Eileen was so astute, Keith realized that Eileen had already figured out it wasnât truly a misunderstanding. After a moment of thought, Keith inquired, âDid you know Harrellâs wife before?â
âNo. The first time I saw her was when I bid on the project,â Eileen replied, shaking her head.
