Nettie turned around to see someone she vaguely recognized.

The girl in front of her had dark, toffee skin, and long black hair that pultruded near to her elbows, and cold, black eyes that seemed to twinkle in Florida's natural sunny glow. Her figure was long and lanky, not really showing an inch of curve, but the fact that she was so tall could make up for it.

"Tea...?" Nettie took in a breath.

"Obviously." Tea smiled and earned an embrace from Nettie, who clutched Tea close to her own body, head barely resting on her chest. Nettie breathed in Tea's scent—it smelled like ocean and sun. The salty smell could be from Nettie's tears, too.

"You're really here, I didn't think... it's weird seeing you here..." Nettie's voice was nothing more than a whimper. Tea muttered something to herself, which Nettie ignored. Nettie's disbelief was only clouded by that of her happiness.

Nettie was finally united with her only friend in the entire world.
