Chapter 20: Not an only kid

She's The Daughter Of A GodWords: 1919

A week past since I found out who my father is. I haven't really spent much time with Loki. It was awkward between us. My adoptive father, Tony explained to me that I was no longer going to be the only kid at Avengers tower.

A boy named Peter Parker was going to spend some time here. Shockingly, I have a cousin. No, two cousins. Thor has kids that we didn't know about. A girl who is a mutant was also going to be here.

The Avengers have gotten new team members. Wanda Maximoff, Steve's friend, Sam Wilson, and Vison.

Anyways, I was in my bedroom, waiting for the new kids. I was reading the third book of the Percy Jackson series. I had finished the second book yesterday.

I heard a knock on my door. I opened it to see Loki standing there. "The kids have arrived", he said. I followed him to the living room. Four kids were in the living room with Thor. He introduced me to my cousins, Jack and Luke. He introduced me to Peter and Artemisia.

I offered to share a room with Artemisia. She seemed like she was cool. The boys were going to share a room. I read my book for a while before I talked to Artemisia. "So what do you do for fun?" I asked.

"I like to read", she said.

"Same", I said. We had a lot in common. We both like Percy Jackson and we like to prank people. I think we're going to be good friends.

We could hear the boys running toward our room. "Oh boy", Artemisia says.

"I have an idea", I said.

The boys barged into our room only to see that no one was in there. Or so they thought.

Me and Artemisia popped out of our hiding spots and attacked the boys with a pillow fight. They ran out of our room in fear.

"Why did we think this was a good idea", My cousin, Jack asks Luke and Peter.

"I don't know", My cousin, Luke responded.

"Good da, mates", I said in my best Australian accent. I closed the door. Me and Artemisia fell to the floor, laughing our heads off. Yeah, we're going to be best friends.
