(Warning, there is a bit of a steamy part in the book)
"Shyla I can't do this. Why is his dad going to be here?" I asked as she is doing my hair for me. I was starting to freak out more. Blake's dad was going to be here and the last time he saw me, he called me a worthless mutt. I wonder what new names he has come up with to call me. Whore, Slut, maybe he'll even say that I'm trying to trap Blake with the twins and that the twins aren't even Blake's. Which if he is blind I would understand that, but the twins look a lot like Blake.
"Soph, just relax. I know what is going through your mind. Blake, Katherine and I will be here every step of the way. We will be there to put him on his place when he tries to be rude to you. You have done nothing to him and he has no reason to treat you any different." she said reassuringly and she braided a piece of my hair.
I hope he treats me better. What if he tells Blake to leave me again? What if he has turned Katherine against me as well?
This is going to be a long day. I sighed and just listened to the music that was playing. Blake was still downstairs making lunch. The twins are with him in the kitchen, their feeding time is coming up. This whole thing with Nevaeh has me so stressed out, I am so afraid that I'll do something wrong and then in the long run it affects her health completely.
Shyla quickly finished up my hair, I did my makeup while she was doing my hair. It just goes easier this way. After Shyla was done with my hair I quickly got dressed and went downstairs to start feeding the twins.
When I reached the bottom of the stairs Blake was in the rocking chair feeding Nevaeh, he didn't even look stressed, as if he has been doing this since forever. He is already an amazing father and the twins aren't even two months old yet.
God I love this man so much that it actually hurts. I walked over to him kissing his cheek quickly and then grabbed Nova from his bassinet. I grabbed his bottle from the bottle warmer and started feeding him.
"You look absolutely breathtaking" Blake said looking at me. I blushed a deep crimson and looked down at Nova. This little man looked so serious as he focused on sucking his bottle. I giggled and looked at Blake who was looking at Nevaeh focused with the same look that Nova has on his face. Like father like son.
I smiled and shook my head. Blake must have noticed this" What are you smiling about?" he asked with confusion written on his face. I burst out laughing.
"I just realized that Nova really is your son" I said burping him.
"You only realized that now? Are you sure you are feeling ok?" Blake asks chuckling. I just scrunched my nose playfully at him and threw him with one of Nova's soft toys that was next to me.
"No you clown, when you both are super focused you have this serious look on your faces. It's the cutest thing ever." I say laughing even more.
When I looked up at him he had blood red cheeks. Wow. The Big strong Alpha from The Blood Rage Pack blushing like a little school girl talking to her crush. I blew him a kiss and focused back on Nova. Blake was just finishing up with Nevaeh when the door bell rang.
Blake stood up with Nevaeh in his arms and answered the door. I felt my whole stomach drop from nervousness. I watched as Henry and Katherine walked into our home. I like saying that. Our home. Our happiness. Our family. When Katherine saw me sitting in the living room her face lit up.
"Oh Sophia, look how gorgeous you've gotten. How are you doing dear? I missed you so much!" she exclaimed rushing over to me giving me a awkward side hug, because I still had Nova in my arms. I was quickly burping him so that I can lay him down again for a bit.
"Katherine, I missed you just as much. Maybe even more, you know you are like a mom to me and being away from you for almost a year was killing me. I'm good now, I am very glad I'm back home where I belong and I'm glad that I'm back with my little family." I said standing up and putting Nova in his little play matt that was on the living room floor.
I quickly hugged Katherine as tightly as possible. "Soph, I don't want to squeeze too tightly. Blake told us about your recovery and the twins, and Nevaeh's reflux. I don't want to hurt you honey." she said pulling back and looked over for potential bruises. Not that I had any though.
"I'm fine, I promise. Blake and Shyla are just over exaggerating. Please come on in and meet your grandkids." I said gesturing over to Nova and Nevaeh who was still in Blake's arms.
"Ahem" I head from behind us. When I turned Henry was standing there with a very uncomfortable look on his face. " Sophia. Welcome back. I hope that you make my son very happy, even I know you aren't the right one for him" he said that last bit under his breath but I heard it as clear as day.
"Dad! Really?! What makes you think that I would allow you to speak to my mate like that?! Either you accept her as part of the family now dad or be exiled and become a rogue. It's totally up to you dad." Blake spoke to his dad in his alpha voice that even I bowed my head and whimpered.
Henry stood there with a blank expression on his face. He stood for a few minutes and then just walked out of the house saying nothing. I guess he must've told something to Katherine or Blake through their link. I was still in shock from Blake's tone that he used. If this is going to be my reaction when he uses his alpha voice with other people. How the hell am I going to make it through a conversation when he uses it on me.
"Well let's get to lunch. Mom will you please hold Nevaeh while I quickly check on the last things for dinner in the oven?" Blake asked as he hands Nevaeh to his mom.
Katherine looked ecstatic to be holding her granddaughter. " She looks just like you Soph. She is so gorgeous." Nevaeh stared at her with the biggest eyes. She kept staring at Katherine and then she just starts smiling.
I haven't seen her smiling since we left the doctor's office yesterday. Tears escaped my eyes and I quickly wiped them away before anyone could've seen them.
A few hours later and we had lunch and also enjoyed a lot of conversation. Katherine filled me in on everything that has been happening here, I just got so overwhelmed with all the information that I will have to ask Blake to tell me again. Katherine asked me what I did for the time I was at The Moon Stone Pack. I told her about the amazing views, the fun times I had with Jake and everyone there, I told her about the pain and everything that happened with my pregnancy, the twins being a surprise.
I shared some of the photos of the twins that I had taken ever since they were born. When the clock hit four Katherine and Shyla decided that if was time for them to head home. As we were saying goodbye, Katherine hugged me tightly and whispered that I should just ignore Henry and that he'll come around soon, that he needs time to process everything.
Yeah sure I believe that as much as I believe that there will be world peace one day. I just nodded and said goodbye to the both of them. Blake shut the door and then hugged me from behind and pulled me close into his body. He nuzzled his face into my neck and inhaled deeply. I relaxed against him. I was physically drained, I was actually still supposed to be on bed rest but today was an exception. I know I pushed myself too hard today with standing and being up and busy, because my legs were jelly and I could barely hold myself up anymore.
"Baby I think we should get you into a hot bath while I bring the twins upstairs into their cribs" Blake suggested as he slowly walked me up the stairs. He walked us into the en suite bathroom and started the bath, adding a cocoa butter bath bomb. He is just simply the best.
He walked over to me and reached for the hem of my shirt. My hands quickly shot to his stopping him from removing my shirt. "Blake not now, I really had a long day. I'm drained. I don't have the energy for this or anything tonight." I said my cheeks red as I looked away from his gaze.
"Soph, baby, you're thinking of this all wrong. I just want to get you undressed to get you into the bath. I know you don't have the energy for anything, I can tell in your face that you have no energy for this. I don't want us to rush this relationship though. I remembered you told me this when I asked you for a second chance, and baby? I totally respect that and I'm going to wait for when you are ready for this. But for now I just want to get you undressed so you can relax in the bath ok?" he rambled holding my chin in his hand and staring into my eyes. I just nodded and let him help me.
When my shirt and pants were on the floor I could already tell that this was affecting Blake, but I can see that it is taking everything for him to not do anything to me other than get me into the bath.
This man is going to be the death of me. The temptation got to much for me and as he was reaching to unclasp my bra IÂ reached behind his neck and kissed him deeply. Blake was taken aback, but only for a few seconds then he started taking control of the kiss. He picked me up and placed me on the vanity that was behind me. His tongue swiped across my bottom lip, asking for entrance. I clenched my mouth shut, denying him access. He clearly wasn't pleased with this and slipped his hand under my bra and started fondling my breast.
This obviously made me gasp and he took this as the perfect time to shove his tongue into my mouth, and as soon as his taste exploded into my mouth I moaned. Blake stepped more towards me and he pressed his bulge right in between my legs. I moaned even more and grabbed Blake's hair in my hand and pulled slightly. He groaned and moaned at the same time. Fuck that was the sexiest sound I've ever heard.
Just as I was about to push him back to take things further there was a whimper through the monitor. Blake groaned into my mouth and pulled away." You are going to be the death of me Sophia Merrit" he said before disappearing out of the bathroom.
I stripped the rest of the way, trying to forget the fact that I'm hot and bothered and just got into the bath. It was really nice and hot, my body relaxed instantly. I heard shuffling coming up the stairs. I sat there waiting for a few moments and then Blake reappeared in the bathroom. His eyes were dark, indicating that he was still very turned on.
I smiled at him and held my hand out to him. " Please join me, I don't think I will be able to relax fully if I'm alone in the bath." I asked with puppy eyes. He sighed and rolled his eyes " Soph I really don't think that'll be the best idea, I don't know if I'll be able to control myself if I'm in there with you completely naked." he said hesitating.
I looked at the ceiling feeling disappointed. "Fine, If that's what you want then fine. I won't beg for you to join me. I was just thinking about you relaxing as well and also saving water" I gave him a mischievous look.
He laughed shaking his head and walked out of the bathroom without saying anything. Rude. Oh well, I tried. I really am still in the mood, and he's scared that he won't be able to stop? I initiated this, I want to go through with this and he doesn't? What is he up to?
I finished bathing and wrapped a towel around my body, I walked into the room and directly into the walk in closet. I took out a black see through teddy with a black lacy thong to match. I went back into the room. I placed the lingerie on the bed and dropped the towel. Mind you, Blake is now relaxing on the bed, probably waiting for me to get into bed.
"What are you doing?" Blake asked looking up from his phone. I just kept quiet while I started sexually putting lotion on my body and rubbing it in, still completely naked in front of him. I moved down my body to my legs. I lifted my one leg onto the bed to rub lotion on it, displaying everything to Blake.
I heard him take in a deep breath, and when I looked at him his eyes were pitch black. I slowly rubbed lotion on the leg that was propped up on the bed, then did the same with the other leg. Blake's body stiffened up while I was doing so. I grabbed the lingerie doing a striptease backwards. If that makes any sense.
As soon as I was done I just climbed into bed and switched of the lamp and turned my back on Blake. He growled and switched the light back on very quickly. He took me by my shoulder and pushed me onto my back and straddled me pinning my hands above my head. I could see the prominent bulge in his pajama pants.
"What the hell was that Sophia?" he asked a bit furiously. Oh no he doesn't, he doesn't have the right to be furious. I was hot and bothered in the bathroom and he left me like that. Now he is mad when I do the same to him? This doesn't seem fair.
"What was what Blake? I was just getting dressed. That's all." I said trying to play dumb. He growled and put his face in my neck. This alone sends a shiver down my body and settles in my pussy. I try to move my hips just a little, hoping to get a little movement between us. It works just a little bit and I try not to moan.
"Soph, we can't do this now. You're not healed enough. What if something goes wrong? What if I hurt you?" he said worry and lust still in his voice.
"Blake, I wouldn't want to do this if I wasn't mentally and physically ready for this." I said kissing his shoulder.
