"Vectors can be described as geometric, analytic and axiomatic. A vector is a directed line segment. Important points; length and its direction. Length is called magnitude which is indicated by vertical bars. If length is equal to one unit, it's called a unit vector.

A = |A| or  = A/A

Law of cosines:-

C = A+B

C×C = (A+B) × (A+B)

|C|² = |A|² + |B|² + 2|A||B| cos∅

C² = A² + B² - 2AB cos∅

Ouch!

"What the hell, man? My nose!" I cursed when I bumped into Shree.

He was standing in the doorway, blocking majority of the path. He glanced over his shoulder and rolled his eyes when he saw me. Mahek giggled and placed her hand on his chest possessively.

She moved closer to him and smirked when she saw my annoyed expression. Shree kissed her cheek, making her blush which was so fake that I wanted to punch her right there.

"Baby~ my phone is not working properly. See? I dropped it yesterday and now it has so many cracks. How will I click selfies now?" she complained and showed him his phone.

"Don't be sad. I will buy you a new one, okay? Which one do you want?" he asked softly.

"The latest model which was released last week," she cooed.

"Anything for you, my baby." Shree caressed her hair.

Mahek planted a kiss on his cheek and Shree asked her if she wanted something else. She tapped her right index finger on her chin and thought for a minute.

Then she started listing out various items and clothes she wanted to buy and her boyfriend agreed to take her shopping this weekend. She jumped in joy and hugged him.

Why was I standing here and torturing my eyes?

I pushed past Shree and decided to ignore them. I was going through my notes in the Physics lab and practising some experiments for the practicals. But I got bored and decided to take a nap in the library.

As I moved past the couple, Mahek stepped to her right and hit me with her shoulder. I stumbled a bit and caught my notebook before it fell down.

I looked at her and she turned around to face me. She gave me a challenging look and I narrowed my eyes at her. She was provoking me. I clenched my jaw and moved towards her but Shree pulled her back and stepped between us.

"Don't even think about hurting her," he warned as he stared me down.

Mahek wrapped her arms around his waist and peaked her head from behind him. She blew a mocking kiss in my direction and I rolled my eyes. She was really enjoying this, wasn't she? Bloody witch.

"What are you looking at?" Shree snapped his fingers in front of me and I directed my gaze at him.

"Take my advice. Stay away from her," I told him.

"I think you should follow your own advice," he bit back.

"Chill, baby~ She is just jealous," Mahek mocked and stood beside him.

"Move on, Sandhya. I am sure you will find someone else," Shree said and I gave him a dead look.

I deemed it best to not reply and shook my head at him. He still believed what Mahek had said. And whatever I would have said in my defence, he would have just ignored it and supported his girlfriend-no matter what she told him. He had gone completely nuts for her.

I pursed my lips and turned on my heels after throwing a glance at Mahek. How could someone be so cunning and selfish? I was worried for Shree.

Soon, it would be six months to their relationship and I was afraid that Mahek would break up with him. It was her average timeline before she dumped the guy.

I didn't want Shree to get his heart broken by someone like her. She was not good news. I would have to pull up my socks and find evidences against her.

I wouldn't let her play with his feelings and get away so easily. He didn't believe me now but he would when his 'baby's' truth would come out.

I went to the library and made myself comfortable in Shreyas' hiding spot. He wasn't using it now, so I claimed it. I put my bag to the side, took out my phone and the investigation diary. I searched for the boys Mahek had dated before Shree on the social networking sites.

I didn't have all the guys' names but the ones I had would be enough for now. Apart from talking to the women from her society, I had talked to some boys and girls also. Few of them knew the names of some guys with whom they had spotted Mahek outside their area.

I shortlisted five guys who were active on social media and messaged them. I didn't mention Mahek's name because that way they would have gotten suspicious.

After browsing through their profiles, I discovered some pics where Mahek was visible. While I was taking screenshots of those photos, I received a reply from one of the boys.

I quickly messaged him back and he asked me how I knew him. I lied that I stumbled upon his Instagram profile and really liked his posts about love and tragedy.

We chatted casually and he seemed like a nice guy. After we had talked about all the usual stuff, I threw the main question at him.

I asked him about the inspiration behind his tragic love quotes and scribblings and he confessed that he was in a serious relationship few months back.

I took my time and didn't rush him to tell me all about it. By the way he was texting, it looked like he was really serious about the girl.

But I had to make sure he was talking about Mahek. I continued talking to him while I wrote down the details of the conversation in my diary. Luckily, he slipped out her name himself and I was happy that I didn't had to force it out of him myself.

I asked him the reason behind their break-up and he told me that she just broke up over a text. Wow. I was not surprised.

I was glad he was telling me all this but on a serious note, he shouldn't be sharing his personal information with a complete stranger. No one should. It was a hell lot of risk.

He told me his story in short and I was really shocked to read it. I couldn't believe that a girl could be this cruel. He thanked me for hearing him out which was quite ironical because I was the one who should be thanking him. He texted me bye and exited the chat.

I continued searching other profiles and cross-checked the descriptions from my diary. My bum had started to hurt and my back was yelling at me to get up from my spot. I saw the time and it had been almost two hours since I was sitting here without much movement.

I closed my diary and stretched my limbs. I was tired. I got so lost in the work that I ended up bunking one of my lectures. But I wasn't much concerned about it.

As it is, we weren't being taught anything new. I picked up my bag, adjusted the bandage on my left wrist and got out of my hiding spot.

I debated on whether to go for the next lecture or not as I exited the library and walked towards the cafeteria. On my way, I saw Ved and his gang coming from the opposite direction. I rolled my eyes when some girls approached him and started flirting with him.

Doesn't he get tried by being always in the spotlight?

I also noticed that Mahek was glaring at all the girls who had surrounded Ved and she was trying really hard to distract him. Shree was right beside her but he was too busy fooling around with Nikhil and Karthik to notice that.

Nikhil was smiling from ear to ear and I was happy that his smile was natural and not fake like his friend's girlfriend.

I took my eyes off from the gang and thought about what I would order to eat. Maybe I should try the new fusion hamburger and french fries. My mouth was watering by just thinking about it.

"Where are you going?" Ved grabbed my bag and pulled me back.

"None of your concern," I retorted.

"Is Miss Goody Two Shoes bunking her class?" he mocked.

I gave him a tight lipped smile and did a small curtsy in response. He raised one of his eyebrows at me and I stretched my lips more.

Getting in an argument with him had never turned out useful, so I ignored him and his fanclub. I continued on my way as I sensed him burning holes in my head. I just wasted my time thanks to him.

What was I thinking about again? Hm....? Oh yes! Food.

I reached the cafeteria and placed my order. After satisfactorily filling my stomach, I relaxed in my chair and thought about how I could bust Mahek's lies.

Just talking to her ex-boyfriends wouldn't do. I needed to catch her red-handed. Maybe I would have to start spying on her again to find out about her plans.

But why was I so concerned about this matter? How would it benefit me in any way? Should I just give up and carry on with my life?

Then what about Shree?

What about him? He is an idiot too.

He is a good person, Sandhya and you know you can help him.

He always takes Mahek's side. Why should I bother?

He is blinded by love and he doesn't know it is fake. Will you let him get hurt? Isn't he your friend?

He is but-

No excuses. What kind of person you are if you can't even do something for someone you call your friend?

Okay. Fine! Stop bothering me now.

Cool.

I took a deep breath and checked my phone for notifications. Two more boys had replied to me and I fist-pumped. I quickly messaged them back and spent the remaining school hours chatting with the boys and retrieving the intel.

They were not so friendly like the first one but they still spilled some beans without directly mentioning Mahek's name which I recorded in my diary.

I went through all the information I had gathered so far and noticed a pattern. Mahek had come in contact with all of them through social networking sites and when she had dumped them, she had used the same formula of harrassment against them.

Man! This girl was going to hell for this.

Ring!

Bouncer? Why was he calling me?

I picked up the call and Rajeev informed that I would have to help him in the gym. I groaned and complained that I had other plans. He requested me and I gave in after he bribed me with food. He always did that. Damn, I would have to postpone following Mahek to tomorrow.

Why couldn't have Shree just fallen in love with someone else? That clown! Because of him I had to do so much work.
