Everyone screams as they move away from the corpse. "Is everyone ok?" Asks the royal guard.

Everyone nods when the prince asks, "Little mouse! Where is she?"

Everyone stands there baffled trying to figure out who he speaks of.

He turns to the royal guard, where is little mouse?" He asks at face length, panic written all over his face.

Suddenly, she speaks,"I caught it!"

They all turn to look at her. The prince smiles in relief and sighs. "Do you know what trouble you have put us through?" He asks trying to conceal his worry.

"Nobody said I could not take a different route to capture the deer." She says setting it down and sharing a knowing glance with Krista.

"Well, let us get back to the palace. I have just lost my spirit of adventure." Says Lady June.

"I cannot believe that I almost died today." Says the prince sipping his water, looking at Mia.

"You don't say." She answers boringly.

He looks at her with curiosity. How could she be so unbothered when she could have died as well?

He watches her sew his robes for the dinner gathering and notices a fresh wound across her palm. "What happened this time?" He asks.

"I fell off a tree when I shot the deer." She answers handing him his robes. "Enjoy yourself." She then leaves the room before he can prolong the conversation.

"Well, well. You never told me you have a new name, little mouse." Says Phoebe the protecter of the twins, June and Saphire.

"Wha...Oh no he did not." Says Mia squinting her eyes at Phoebe.

"Oh yes he did." Answers Krista. "You know, he seems to like you Mia."

"Don't say that. Don't even say that! Besides, destiny would not allow it so stop your senseless bickering and eat your food." Answers Mia. Walking out of the room.

She looks up at the sky, the stars shining so splendidly. "I hope you are proud of me mama." She whispers.

"Beautiful sky isn't it little mouse?" Asks the prince.

"It sure is blockhead. What is it you want?" She answers.

"I couldn't sleep. So I decided to catch some fresh air. What about you?" He asks.

"I like watching the sky at this time. Well, now I will retire to my chambers." She curtsies and turns to leave.

He grabs her wrist and turns her slightly to face him. "When night falls, drop the formalities. I was given a name for a reason. So please, call me Edgar."

She blinks, stunned then answers, "As you wish your... I mean Edgar. Sleep well." She says as she walks off.

"You too. Amelia." He answers as he continues to watch the stars.
