Dragons are not simply great fire-breathing reptiles as often told in legends. They are ancient, powerful, intelligent-and extremely dangerous-creatures. When we talk about them, we are talking about beings that can reach level 400 or more, often classified as Grade A. Confronting them is rarely a good idea - and getting out alive is something few can tell you about.
Their skin is almost impossible to pierce, so much so that many weapons break before even scratching them. To make matters worse, they also have cunning worthy of the most experienced strategists. Some enjoy toying with their prey, others lie in silent wait, hiding for days before striking.
A dragon's only real weak point is the Soul Gem, a vital core located right in the center of the forehead. It is small, hard to reach and well protected--but if it is destroyed, even the most powerful dragon falls.
Over the centuries, scholars and hunters have catalogued different types of dragons, each with specific characteristics, behaviors and habitats. Here are some of them:
- Fire dragon
Perhaps the most famous and feared. It has red or orange scales and literally loves to play with its victims, chasing and scaring them before burning them alive. It doesn't do it for hunger: it does it for fun.

- Earth dragon
Giant, armored, slow-moving. It has a brown or yellow coloration and spends most of its time sleeping deep, waking only when it is really hungry. It is not aggressive, but if you disturb it-it is the last thing you will do.
- Air Dragon
White or blue, fast and unpredictable. It lives atop hills and windy mountains, where the sky envelops it. It loves to unleash tornadoes and watch humans as they run away in panic. He is capricious, almost childlike, but deadly.
- Water Dragon
Dark blue or black, it lives in the deep. Almost impossible to see at the surface, it emerges only to attack boats or challenge other large marine predators.
- Dragon of Wrath
A dragon that embodies pure destruction. It has fiery red scales with black paws, and it does not live: it burns. It flies over cities only to reduce them to ashes and finds pleasure in the suffering it leaves behind. It is among the most feared of all.
- Dragon of Wisdom
Gray and white, often withdrawn to isolated places. It is not hostile unless provoked. It is said that if given a worthy gift, he can answer a single question...but beware: his answers are never simple.
- Dragon of Honor
Golden, majestic and noble. Fights only for honor. He despises unjust battles and has a special respect for humans who show courage, especially Protectors, whom he considers his equals.
A dragon's strongest weapon is his breath. No matter what race he belongs to, every dragon possesses a devastating skill commonly called âBreath,â capable of wiping out entire groups of fighters in a matter of moments. The destructive power of the breath is immense even a protector at the beginning of the ethereal rank if struck would not come out unharmed.
Dragons are not just monsters to be faced. They are entities that embody the most extreme aspects of nature and existence: destruction, wisdom, wrath, loneliness, justice. Meeting one changes the course of a life -- always.
