ASHLEY NICOLE AMORES

"Huh, seriously? It looks delicious though," he said.

"I told you," I said.

"Add some mayonnaise," he said.

"Of course, it's me," I said, and just like before, I did it, and we devoured the two. We were startled by the opening of the door.

"Hi, bro," cold man said to Neil. Yes, it's Neil, Andrea's husband.

"You're wanna picked up you're wife so quickly," I said.

"Yeah, let it be. I'm here for some big news," he said, making me raise an eyebrow.

"What big news?" I asked.

"Well actually, I'm two months, two weeks and half a day pregnant!" she said happily, making me smile.

"I'll be a godmother, best! Congratulations!" I said.

"Thank you, best," she said. "Sorry, we can't celebrate. We still have a check-up. Bye, best! Mwuah!" she said, and left with her husband.

Pregnant... Something makes me happy. If this ice were to be the father of my child, what a beautiful family we would have.

"You okay, wife?" Ungas suddenly said.

"Of course, I am," I said sarcastically. But when I think about what I saw, I feel like... Argh, it was okay, why now?

"I think something's bothering you, wife," he asked. Of course, there is. Your foolishness, tsk.

"Nothing, forget it," I said. He just sat on the sofa. You'll just sit there? Are you gold? Hmm, what then... Ah, I know!

"Cold man, go to the market. I want fresh vegetables, fish, meat, and don't forget, mangoes that are red but unripe.  Go now!" I said, shooing him away. He raised an eyebrow, looking surprised.

"If you don't do that, I won't notice you ever again. I'll get sulky," I said, pouting.

"Okay, okay. I'll do it. Wait for me here, okay?" he said. I just rolled my eyes and sat on the sofa. He left, but it feels like I'm missing him already. Only half an hour has passed.

It's still not here... It's 11:00, three hours have passed, and I'm getting hungry.

While bored and hungry, Cold man entered the door, making me smile. He looks like a beggar now.  Serves him right, I'm still annoyed.

"Hi, wife. I'm going to cook, okay? Wait for me here," he said, and quickly went to the kitchen.

After a few hours, he arrived with pakbet and vegetables with meat, and wow, it's spicy! I was about to eat a lot of chili, but he stopped me.

"Wife, it's mine. You might not be able to handle the spiciness," he said. I furrowed my brows. He doesn't care.

"Don't stop me, okay," I said.

He sighed. I feel sorry for his expression. Even though I'm angry with him, I love him too.

"Go and take a bath. I'll wait for you. Just be faster, okay? I'm hungry," I said. He looked at me. Am I already that mean?

"What's that look? Hurry up," I said. He nodded and went upstairs. I just played games on my phone. After a while, he came down, fresh and refreshed.  So tempting.

"I'm done, wife," he said and sat down on the sofa. There's a small table here.

"Let's eat then," I said, and he nodded. While I was eating, I remembered the mangoes.

"Where's my mango?" I asked.

"The mango... It took me a while because I was finding mangoes that were red and, of course, unripe," he said, making me smile unexpectedly, but I quickly hid it.

"Thanks, then. Where is it?"

"It's there," he said, pointing to the small table beside me. I looked at the plastic, but it wasn't there, so I furrowed my brows.

"Where?" I said, getting annoyed.

"It's downstairs," he said. I looked downstairs. There was a sack. When I opened it, there were many mangoes, making me happy.

"Thanks," I said. Even as I ate, he just looked at me questioningly.

"What?" I asked, and he shook his head.

"Wife, I know you have something you want to say to me. Tell me, wife. I'll accept it and understand. Just please say it," he pleaded.

"Okay," I said emotionlessly.

"I'm just... angry," I said. I don't care about him anymore. I'm not the type of woman who's weak. Sometimes, yes, but I choose carefully. I don't want to make the wrong decision. I don't want to anymore.

"Why, wife? Tell me."

"I saw you in your private room, I think," I said, making him stop and look at me, shocked.

"With Althea?" I added. I don't know, but as I said it, my chest ached, and I almost couldn't breathe.

"We had sex... I'm sorry, wife... I'm so, so, so sorry. I didn't mean it. Trust me, baby," he said, making me laugh slightly.

"I don't need an explanation. You know why you're explaining," I said while eating a mango, but it tasted bitter now.

"Am I not enough? Limuel? You said you love me but you cheated! But I can't hate you nor can I let you go 'cause I love you so much that I can do and give all you want as long as you want and need it. I'll give it to you wholeheartedly as long as I will not lose you." These words that I can't even let out...

"I'm sorry. She... she's blackmailing me," he said, crying.  Mr. Ice, what happened?

"She said her brother wants you, so they'll do anything to get you, but she'll help me if they do that. I'm just scared that you'll disappear. I don't like that," he said.

"I don't know why I'm feeling selfish because I want your attention, your hug, your kisses, your everything. It's just mine. But one thing I'm sure of: I love you, wife," he said, crying and looking into my eyes.

I don't see any trace of lying. I think he's telling the truth.
