CHAPTER-47

"Av-Av-Av-Please stop, someone will see us" Shanvi breathed deeply due to their closeness. Avyaan did not take his eyes off from her and kept staring at her, he leaned closer to her until his forehead touched hers. "Why should I stop, Jaan? How can I stop myself from kissing you?? I can't even stop staring at you" he said his breath hitting her lips.

He steps even closer, his body just inches away from hers. He reaches up and moves a strand of hair away from her face, his fingers running over her cheek as he looks into her eyes.

"Av-" He silenced her.

"Let me admire my world" he said softly

"Av-Av-please stop we have to be at the function" she pleaded. Avyaan's eyes softened, he took a step back and said "As you say, Madam". Shanvi left a huge sigh of relief and walked away, followed by Avyaan.

Avyaan stood beside her and kept staring at her, not even taking his eyes off her. Shanvi didn't dare to make eye contact with him and was trying to control her shyness.

"Why are you staring at me??" She stopped and turned her attention towards him and then added "Look at the view it's so beautiful" she pointed where everyone were dancing and everything looked dreamlike.

"Of course I am looking at my view which is more beautiful than anything else" he said which made her heart skip a beat. She blushed and looked away from him.

"You are becoming more romantic every day" she said jokingly. "Only for you, my wife" he replied with a smile.

“Enough Avy you have won my heart. How many times would you want to win it again?” He rolled his eyes. “Till my last breath, I will always try my best to win your heart, Jaan” he replied without hesitation.

She rolled her eyes and laughed before speaking, “Too chessy” he laughed making her laugh. “I can even die for this smile of yours, I want to see you smile even it has to sacrifice  my life” he said without thinking. Shanvi looked at him with concern, worry on her face.

“Don’t say such things " She scolded him. Avyaan nodded and smiled at her “yes, Rani Sahiba” to which she smiled at him.

After the ceremony everyone went to their respective rooms. Shanvi went to the washroom to change clothes and Avyaan changed clothes in the room. Avyaan laid on the bed and kept scrolling on his phone and waited for her, glancing every minute at the bathroom door. She came out and he put his phone in the nightstand and sat on the bed.

"You haven't slept yet?" She asked once she noticed him still laying on the bed.

"I was waiting for you" he replied. She laughed a little and lay down on the bed. "Then go to sleep now" she said.

"As you wish, my love" he snuggled towards her and wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close to him while he nuzzled his face in her hair.

"Good night,the love of my life" he wished her. "Good night, Avy" she said the same.

-Wedding Day-

Shanvi was walking downstairs as she approached the bottom of the stairs, she almost tripped. But before she could fall, Avyaan quickly reached out and caught her in his arms, preventing her from falling and getting hurt.

"Acche se chaliye meri jaan,aapke andar hamari jaan basti hai agar aapko kuch ho gaya toh hamari jaan nikal jayegi" He said as he held her close to him, his arms wrapped tightly around your waist.

When Avyaan held her in his arms, she felt his body pressed against hers. He knew it was a bad idea since everyone was staring at them, but he couldn’t stop himself. He leaned in a little and buried his face in her neck, inhaling her scent.

“God, I love being so close to you.” He murmured softly against her skin, his warm breath tickling her neck. When he saw everyone staring at them, he made her stand up properly, Avyaan reluctantly pulled away from her. As he did so, his hand lingered on her waist for a moment, not wanting to let go.

“Beta, Shanvi are you okay?” her mother-in-law asked seeing her stood up properly. Shanvi nodded as reassurance. “vo sab toh thik hai lekin bhai aaj kal kuch zyada hi romantic nhi bann rhe hai,I mean the way he started being romantic in front of us too” Mahi commented.

“Tujhe koi problem hai?” Meera said rudely.

"Mamma mera voh mtlb nhi tha" Mahi glanced down feeling hurt from her mother tone.Meera eyes softened she lift her daughter's chin with her index finger and spoke " I'm sorry baccha for saying in that tone but beta it's good na Shanvi is getting her husband love and it's not wrong for him to show his love infront of us.Your husband will do one day"

Mahi nodded her head understanding everything her mother said to her.Everyone's attention went back to shanvi."Beta are you seriously ok,I mean do you have any injury anywhere" her mother-in-law spoke in worried tone

"No mumma I'm fine,I don't have any injury"shanvi spoke,Suman nodded still looking concern.

"Everyone let's go it's time for baraat" Dadu informed everyone.Everyone went outside with Karan.Karan sat in his car and Veer pulled Mahi,Aditi,shanvi with them for the dance.

Avyaan eyes darkened once he saw Veer pulled shanvi from him.Shanvi gaze locked with Avyaan's. Avyaan averted his gaze controlling his rage.

"Zyada gussa karna zururi nhi h,pati dev.mai bas aapki hun" shanvi whispered after coming towards him.Avyaan stared at her and his eyes softened.

"I know you're mine but still I can't help it,wife"he says.Shanvi chuckled and pulled him towards where everyone were dancing.

"Dance kariye,pati dev" she said and started dancing with him.Everyone were smiling at the sight where Veer,Aditi,Mahi,Shanvi,Avyaan even dadu were dancing.

-Time skip-

The baraatis reached the bride's house.Karan came out from his car and stood at the front.The bride's mother came out did Aarti and bride's father welcomed everyone inside.The baraati went inside,sat  on the chair.

-:VEER'S POV:-

My breathe hitched seeing her here.Never in my dreams I thought she would be here.My whole body can't move a single inch,it's been 7 years since I last saw her.There she is staring at me and being shocked,just like me.That was until when I heard shanvi whispering to me.

"She is here,Veer" I turned my gaze to stare at shanvi and found her assuring me with her eyes.

"It's been 7 years since you saw her last,Veer and yet you didn't confess when you had time.Now probably the universe is giving you a sign.Confess your feelings to her before it's too late.I'm here for you as a sister,bhabhi and best friend" she gently spoke.

"I-I can't..I don't have guts to confess shanvi" my voice cracks at the end.

"You can do it,I trust you Veer.." shanvi comforted me..I tried to protest but at the end I nodded giving up to shanvi's words.

"I will try" I hesitated but still nodded.

AUTHOR'S POV

Timeskip,It's time for pheras.The bride and groom were doing pheras when Veer pulled her in a corner where no one is present.

"Wt-" she was cut off by Veer keeping his hand on her mouth.Veer gestured her to keep silence.

"Ahvi" he softly spoke.The girl stood their dumbfounded only staring at him.

"Veer,what happened,why did you pull me here?" She inquired.

"I'm just coming to the point.." he took a deep breath and started "Ahvi it's been 7 years since we last saw eachother..and-I want to confess something that I wasn't able to do years ago" he sighed,his whole body was shaking and he was having anxiety.

"I-i love you Ahvi.." his eyes softened and tears formed slightly before continuing further "I di-didn't have courage to confess my feelings 7 years ago and now it's hard for me to even utter a single word.If shanvi didn't assure me then I wouldn't have confessed even now..I-I always loved you Ahvi..I always did...i-i don't know if you feel the same...but...I jut wanted to confess my feelings" he uttered hardly sweats formed on his palm,forehead..

He anxiously stared at her and waited for her to say something. When she didn't utter a single word for 5 sec,he was shaking a little.She was just staring at him and processing everything but her eyes has something different.

She smiled with her moisten eyes and without any interruption she kissed him.Veer was caught off by the sudden affection, he was surprised and was processing the moment until he felt her lips moving on his.He came out of his trance and kissed her back,wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her closer towards himself.They were kissing eachother gently,softly.They pulled out after a good 5 sec and stared at eachother. No one saying anything,that was until when Ahvi decided to break the silence.

"I love you too,Veer" she softly spoke,Veer's eyes gleamed with happiness,he pulled her in a tight embrace and buried his face in the crook of her neck.she chuckled softly,they both pulled out from the hug.

"When I saw you with the popular girl, I thought you loved her and I thought she was your type that's why neither did I confess.I tried to forget you in these years but found myself always thinking about you...now I know we both loved eachother..I-I'm so happy, Veer" tears roll down from her eyes,Veer wiped her tears with his thumb before cupping her face.

"It's destiny who brought us together after 7 years,finally we confessed" he gently murmured only for her to listen..she nodded while her eyes are moisten.

They were staring at eachother lost in their world,until they heard cough sound.They turned around and their whole body stiffened looking at the person.

"Mr Avyaan Verma" shanvi nearly yelled at her husband and gave a glare to him.

"If you didn't cough we could have witness more but no you have to ruin everything" she huffed.Veer and Ahvi were staring at eachother and at Avyaan and shanvi.

"I'm sorry,wifey it's not my fault" he tried to wrap his arms around her but stopped when he received a glare from her."ha-ha ok" he nervously chuckled.

"Btw congratulations to the new couple" shanvi congrats Veer and shanvi."I am happy for both of you" shanvi spoke softly.

"Don't be scared I won't eat you both" she added while chuckling. "Aap udher bas khade rahenge ya fir inn dono ko kuch bolenge bhi" shanvi glared at her dear husband who was staring at her looking scared,he nodded and stepped towards Veer and Ahvi.

"Congratulations both of you" he congratulated in his usual tone."pyaar se" shanvi spoke coldly,he nodded and congratulated them with a smile this time.

"Shanvi ka khauf hai" Veer chuckled making Ahvi also laugh.."Shut up" he told to veer but got silence itself after receiving another glare from his wife.

"I'm happy that Veer confessed his feelings" she smiled..Avyaan muttered something underneath his breathe abd spoke "I'm happy for you both but sad that Veer didn't tell me anything about his love life" he pretended hurt.

"Ignore him like he ever existed" shanvi pointed towards Avyaan. Avyaan gasped and became shocked at his wife's words.

"Haw-" he was cut off by her "Shut up pati dev" she forced a smile.Veer and Ahvi chuckled."Let's go to the wedding before someone starts searching for us"shanvi spoke softly,they all nodded and left towards the mandap.

Hello everyone,so Ik it's been almost a month I updated but I had reasons,I was busy in my studies so I wasn't able to update.I will try to update faster now whenever I get time.Btw do tell me how was the chapter.
