CHAPTER-45

Shanvi came back in her room late and found her dear husband sleeping while cuddling with a pillow.She went near him chuckled at the sight.

"Cute" she muttered with a grin and moved the hair strands which fell on his forehead. She turned around and was about to go but was pulled back with a force landing on Avyaan's hard chest.her eyes widened she gasped,she lifted her eyes and found Avyaan smirking.

"You came late,shanvi" he whispered in a low and husky tone while nuzzling his face in her hair.He inhaled her hair-scent,"I missed you"his voice came out muffled.Shanvi who was still in shocked conposed her composer and laid her head on his chest hugging him around his neck.

"Weren't you sleeping, Avy?" She asked quietly

"How can I sleep without you,jaan" he replied softly gazing at her closed eyes.He admired her face caressing her cheeks."I love you, shanvi" he spoke making shanvi breathe hitched.

"I-i love you too" she responded softly and pecked his lips before kissing it actually. After kissing for a bit she laid her head on his and drifted to sleep. Avyaan pulled her closer and cuddled with her remembering the day when they went for shopping.

*FLASHBACK*

Shanvi was buying jhumkas for her with Mahi and Aditi.She was smiling the whole time buying jhumkas. She loves buying jhumkas alot.Avyaan who was standing a far from the shop saw her smiling after she bought jhumkas.

"My intention wasn't to fall for you but this smile of yours,makes me fall for you even harder"he spoke softly seeing her buying jhumkas Veer who was standing beside him was shocked that his cousin can say some loving words.Veer checked Avyaan's temperature and said in a disbelief tone "Bhai are you ok!?"

Avyaan nodded confusingly "ofc I'm ok, why!?" He asked raising his eyebrows. "No I mean- I never saw you saying things like that are you for real?"Veer blinks his eyes.

Avyaan rolls his eyes and kept his hand on Veer's shoulder"Mr veer verma for your kind information if a man is in love with someone then he can say any loving words for his love one" Avyaan patted Veer's shoulder.

"And besides you don't have a girl so you can't understand anything" Avyaan smirked,Veer shook his head at Avyaan's teasing."I hate you bhai" Veer spoke rolling his eyes.

"Did I ask you to love me" Avyaan retorted with a smirk.Veer shook his head and went near shanvi.Avyaan rubbed his nape whole thinking about his sparkle.

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

Avyaan lowered his gaze and smiled seeing shanvi sleeping in his arms.He smiled to himself "Gosh!!I'm madly in love with her" he muttered under his breath.Shanvi stirred in her sleep,Avyaan gently rocked her back making her go back to sleep."Good night, sparkle" he drifted to his sleep.

Next day at night during mehndi rasam.Shanvi got ready and was about to head downstairs but Avyaan stopped her while grabbing her shoulder with both hands.

"Kisiki nazar na lage humari jaan ko,hmm!?" He spoke softly after taking kajal and putting it behind her ears.He pecked her forehead and their eyes locked until they heard a click sound both turned around and found Mahi clicking their photo.

"Bhai!!seriously this much love for bhabhi I'm jealous if my future husband won't do like this then I won't marry him"Mahi said making shanvi chuckled and Avyaan rolls his eyes. "Why did you took our pics?" Avyaan asked

"Obviously bhai to keep your moments as memories and you both were looking cute" Mahi replied flipping her hairs.Avyaan hit her head slightly "Aren't you becoming a third wheel between our moments" Avyaan huffs.

"Not at all bhai it's your fault to always keeping his door open" Mahi replied back.Shanvi laughs at this playful banter between Avyaan and Mahi.

"Bhabhi badi maa was calling you downstairs let's go" Mahi said as she remembered why she came there.Shanvi nodded and went downstairs with Mahi followed by Avyaan. All three reached the downstairs and saw the entire family there.Shanvi went towards her mother-in-law followed by Mahi whereas Avyaan went to a corner slightly observing the decoration and her.

"Kitni sundar lag rhi hai meri bahu" Suman exclaimed.She was about to put kajal behind shanvi's ears but Mahi stopped her.

"Badimaa don't put kajal behind her ears bhai had already did it" Mahi says making buadadi,Suman and meera gasped in surprise.

"Tell me I'm dreaming bhabhi" meera said in surprise tone.Suman who was still in surprised uttered lowly" is it true shanvi?" Shanvi nodded blushing.Suman,buadadi and meera became more surprised at Avyaan's behavior.

"A new member is coming soon" buadadi remarks making everyone confused. To clear their confusion buadadi spoke" I mean my great grandchild and shanvi's child" everyone became surprised and shanvi blushed."Buadadi aap bhi na" shanvi uttered blushing.

"Now let's go and start the mehndi rasam" buadadi said.

"Buadadi you all go I will check the food,are cooks are cooking or not" shanvi said and buadadi nodded. Shanvi went where food is making. Buadadi and all went and started mehndi rasam.Everyone were busy dancing and gossiping whereas Avyaan was searching for shanvi.

"Veer where is shanvi?" He asked to veer,"I don't know bhai go and ask mahi" Veer replied.Avyaan went near Mahi and asked her about shanvi's whereabouts. "She is helping the cooks" she replied. Avyaan thanked her went where shanvi is.

He saw shanvi helping the cooks.He leaned against the wall and admired his wife.He went near her and petted her shoulder to gain her attention. She turns around and raised her eyebrows. "What is it,Avy?" She asked."Just missing you" he replied softly.

She shook her head at his cuteness and started helping cooks again."won't you apply mehndi on your hand?" He intrigued.

"I don't think so because I'm busy currently" she replied

"Come with me" saying that he took her to the henna artist and made her sit.shanvi protested but received a death glare from Avyaan making her shut her mouth.

"Apply a beautiful mehndi on her hand" Avyaan spoke in a cold tone to the henna artist.The henna artist nodded and started applying henna on Shanvi's hand.Suman who was seeing everything standing there took out evil eyes from both Avyaan and shanvi.

"Buri nazron se bachana bhagwan mere bacchon ko" she whispered under her breath.she went towards other where all are enjoying themselves.

"What is your husband's name?" Henna artist asked.shanvi was about to answer but interrupted by Avyaan "write Avyaan ki shanvi" he says in a cold tone.

Shanvi blushed at Avyaan's word.Henna artist nodded and wrote what Avyaan said.Avyaan went near fruit stall and brought a plate of fruits on that plate.He sat beside shanvi and fed her with a grin.Shanvi smiled back.

"Bacche when?" Aditi asked with a mischievous smile making shanvi choked on het food.Avyaan worriedly patted Shanvi's back and glared at Aditi."Go bring water quick" he nearly yelled at Aditi.Aditi nodded and quickly went to bring water.

Everyone were busy in dancing so they can't hear because of loud music.Aditi came back with water and forwarded towards Avyaan.Avyaan took it and his eyes softened for shanvi.He made her drink water.Shanvi gulped water a little.

"Better?" He asked with a concerned face.Shanvi nodded with a smile.Avyaan smile but his smile faded in a death glare when he turns to Aditi."Avy don't scare Aditi" shanvi said seeing Aditi scared of Avyaan. Avyaan eyes softened "sorry" he murmured lowly.Aditi smiled hearing a sorry from Avyaan.

"But seriously baccha when?" She teased making both of them blushed but Avyaan quickly composed his composer and smirked before saying" ask your bhabhi when she wants to start the process"

Shanvi eyes widened making Aditi chuckled. Shanvi glared at Avyaan but Avyaan just smirks.Henna artist who wad applying mehndi on Shanvi's hand choked hearing Avyaan's talk.

"Sorry sorry"Henna artist apologized and applied mehndi. Avyaan rolls his eyes and tucked a hair strands of shanvi's behind her ear.

"Meri jaan" he murmured under his breath feeding shanvi fruit.

"Bro come soon after bhabhi is done with mehndi. We want a couple dance of you both" Aditi says and Avyaan nodded.Shanvi gulps.

Avyaan pampers kisses all over shanvi's face making shanvi blushed.Shanvi smiled and tried to stop him but he didn't stop kept kissing her face.The henna artist was sitting there keeping her eyes low, she was feeling awkward between them.

"Uhm Sir it would be better if you take her to room don't do this all here" the henna artist awkwardly said.Avyaan became shocked that he nearly forgot he is in public.Avyaan got up and went from there feeling embarrassed.

"Ar-i- are you done?" Shnavi asked stuttering.The henna artist nodded and shanvi got up from there and went where everyone was present.
