CHAPTER-22

Shanvi woke up from her slumber and found herself in quilt..She saw she doesn't have the frame in her hand rn..she looked at her side and found the frame on the table..She was feeling terrified thinking the worst..As far as she remembers, she was not wearing a quilt.."What if Avyaan had saw the frame..No no it can't be" she was making her believe it is not what she is thinking...She got up from the bed and kept the frame to it's place..she saw her face in the mirror found her eyes red and swollen..she directly went to the bathroom and washed her face..She again looked at the mirror and was a bit relaxed of her condition rn..she went downstairs and found none there..she looked in the kitchen and found helpers helping her sasu Maa and chachi...

"Maa I'm sorry I was late..idk how I slept..Wait let me fo this you go with chachi and take a rest.." shanvi said taking the knife from her sasumaa but her sasumaa draw back the knife from her..

"You won't do anything..today you will take rest" her sasumaa said again doing her work

"But maa why Let me do it"

"No you won't..Go talk to Mahi or you can stay here talk with us" her chachi said in between them

"But chachi-" she was cut off by her sasumaa

"No chachi it's my order you will do as I say..and that's final..I'm your mother and you have to obey me" she said fake glaring her bahu..she nodded..Mahi came there

"Ohh bhabhi here you are I'm searching you in your room..now come with me" she said grabbing her shoulder from both hand and taking her from there..she looked behind and gave a wink to her badi maa and her mom in which they both gave her thumbs up" all the best" mouthing Mahi..Shanvi was continuously asking Mahi but she didn't answer she stopped and turned towards her..

"Mahi can you tell me where are you taking me..I asked you many time but didn't answer.." she folded her hands and asked her raising her eyebrows...

"Bhabhi stop Kitna bolti h aap..sabr rakhiye sabr ka fal meetha hota h..I was going to tell you but due to you continuous blabbering I didn't answer..Avyaan Bhai ne Sach kaha h aap choti bacchi ho Jo Khali bolti rehti h" she said rolling her eyes..

"What your bhai told me Choti bacchi.." she said not believing her words..

"Aur nhi toh kya bhabhi aap mujh pe Biswas nhi Kar rhi ho?" She said being taken back..

"Aisa nhi h Mahi but I never thought he will said choti bacchi to me..now I'll show him this choti bacchi can do anything other than blabbering " shanvi said

"Now can we go bhabhi I'll tell you everything to my room..let's go quickly " she said taking Shanvi's hand and left for her room.."Sorry bhai but I have to lie to bhabhi if you didn't break my ruin my eyeliner on your reception day I wouldn't done that now pay for it" Mahi thought and at last she had a evil smile thinking what shanvi will do with him...

"Now tell me we are in your room.." shanvi said and found Mahi settled on the bed..

"Excuse me miss can you tell me now" shanvi said

"Ohh bhabhi I called you her bcz today I'm going to a party and I want you to come with me..so choose me a dress " she said excitedly...

"Ohk I'll help you but I can't come with you what Maa will think and most importantly him" shanvi said fidgeting with her fingers..

"Ohh bhabhi don't worry badi maa and anyone won't say anything and As for brother, he will come late today..he told me before leaving for hospital " Mahi said trying to make shanvi believe her words...

"But wo mujhe nhi bataye..but as a friend he can say na" she thought and being sad bcz he didn't tell her...

"Now don't be sad bhabhi bcz bhai didn't tell you..he will tell you be patient ok" Mahi said making her happy with her words...shanvi nodded...They choose dress and eat their lunch and spend time with meera,Suman,dadu...Everyone knows all the men are doing the preparations in the backyard except shanvi..At 5pm Mahi told her to get ready..Mahi got ready and came to check on shanvi...

Shanvi was wearing a beautiful white saree..Mahi was gawking at her..shanvi snapped her fingers at her..Mahi came out from her trance..

"Oh my gosh bhabhi you are looking so beautiful..I can't believe you are my bhabhi...now I'll mock my friends of getting a beautiful bhabhi" Mahi said and shanvi blushed at her words..

"Now let me take picture of your and mine to post on my insta handle.." Mahi said and took her photo and hers together and posted on her insta story and sent shanvi's picture to Avyaan..

"Bhai how is my bhabhi is looking huh!!?😏"

Mahi didn't expect Avyaan to left her on seen...she will talk to him later about this and was going when suddenly lights gone..Mahi on her mobile flashlight...

"Bhabhi wait here I'll go and check stay here ok"mahi said and shanvi hummed..It's been 5 minutes since Mahi gone..Shanvi tried to call her but she didn't pick up she decided to check on her shanvi on her mobile flashlight and called her name many times but she didn't respond...shanvi called her sasumaa but she also didn't respond she tried calling everyone's name but Noone respond...she was feeling scared of being alone in the house..she heard some sound from backyard she decided to check on but before that she tried calling Avyaan, Veer but no one picked up.. she went slowly slowly when she is in the backyard suddenly the lights came...

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANVI" everyone said in unison making her startled..Shanvi saw everyone there including her uncle, aunt but Trisha was nowhere to seen..Her mother-in-law and father-in-law came and wished her"Happy birthday beta may god bless you beta" Suman kissed her forehead her sasumaa and sasur ji hugged her..feeling parents love her eyes welled up with tears..Everyone came one by one and wished her..Avyaan came towards her..

"Happy birthday shanvi" he said admiring her..

"Bhabhi dyk this whole surprise was planned by Avyaan Bhai.." Mahi said

Shanvi looked at him she didn't expect thus from him.."Aur nhi toh kya shanvi bhai specially asked me to get to know you" Veer said..

"Enough both of you let's go and now cut the cake ok" Avyaan said

"Shanvi dii" Siya came towards her with her baby steps..shanvi lift her and kissed her cheeks...

"Happpppy Birlday shanvi dii" Siya said kissing her cheeks..

"Thank you Siya.." shanvi said rubbing her nose with Siya..

"Happy birthday shanvi" Kabir said

"Thank you bhaiya " shanvi said and Kabir become emotional..

"Oho Kabir bhai don't be emotional be happy it's her birthday " Veer said..This whole scene was watched by Avyaan who was just looking at shanvi without taking his eyes off from her bcz of two reasons...

1st- She is looking breathtaking in this white saree..

2nd-The way she is playing with Siya.. Shanvi don't know she is having a admirer..

"She is the definition of the word 'ethereal" Avyaan muttered underneath his voice while looking at her fondly.
