Brendan returns home around 4 pm on Friday evening, he has to attend a party for 9 pm at a club which he hopes Elisha will accompany him to.
He got information that Jett's men were making a trade tonight behind the club building at 11. He hopes to interfere with it indirectly so that the other gang and Jett's will be in sort of a battle mode and be off his tail for a while.
Elisha isn't off till next hour, she called him yesterday complaining about how Kacy messed up an order she took her time to prep.
"Home sweet home", he sighs when he unlocks the front door and went upstairs checking the guest room first, seeing Zane sleeping on the bed with a girl laying down on his side, a blanket covering them.
"Hey man I'm back", he says and Zane opens his eyes.
"Sh*t, what time is it?" He gets up luckily he's wearing a boxers.
"A little after 4 pm also, we're going a party tonight", Brendan adds.
"Sweet and don't worry this sheet and blanket are mine so I'll carry it with me home to wash", Zane adds.
He leaves and goes to his room closing the door behind him, the chat with his dad that night sort of cut short after he heard a voice in the background and hung up immediately. He been ignoring his father's call after that which was for the past three days.
Elisha returns an hour later as Brendan is going through the channels on the television.
"Hey did a little grocery shopping, I brought our childhood sweet I was forbidden to eat", she chuckles as she takes out a about five packs of skittles and two big pack of Snickers.
Brendan laughs,"only you Lisha, anyway we're going a party tonight."
"Finally been a while, now I have a reason to wear that dress I brought which your mother told me to purchase", she says.
"We leave at 8:30 pm, Zack can come if he wants but I think it'll be safer if he didn't also Kacy. Knowing Jett's men if they spot either of them, they'll kidnap them and use it as blackmail for me to hand you over to Jett which isn't going to happen", Brendan states and Elisha nods.

Elisha checks out herself in the mirror,"I look hot", she smirks. The fitted cocktail dress hugs her body which shows off her curves, her hair is down which falls over her shoulders and a pair of black heels in her feet.
"Let's go Lisha", Brendan calls, she emerges from her bedroom and see Brendan dress in dark jeans with black T shirt and matching blazers. He looks good and definitely got the business guy look down.
"You look good", he offers his arm to her which she takes as they walk down the stairs,"also you got to act like we're together, some of exes may be there", he adds and she sighs.
"You just had to be a player huh? But if one of them pushes my button don't hold me back", she warns.
He opens the passenger's side for her and she slips in putting on her seat belt, Brendan gets into the driver's side and starts the car.
"Will Draven and Malcolm be there as well?" She asks.
"Draven, not sure about Malcolm, he's suppose to be flying out for the weekend", he replies with a shrug.
"How long are we staying at this club anyway? I need to get back to sleep since I got work for 9 tomorrow", she explains.
"Don't worry you'll be back by midnight", Brendan assures her.
Thirty minutes later
Brendan parks about a block down from the club, Elisha and him get out then hold hands. A few guys who are smoking on the opposite side of the road cat call at her as Brendan starts to walk faster controlling his anger.
"No ID, no going in", the bouncer steps in front of them as they approach the entrance to the club.
Brendan laughs dryly, "do you hear this guy? No ID, no going in? Look here does Brendan Gunner ring a bell?" He glares at the bouncer.
The bouncer turns pale,"y- yes."
"Well then", Brendan pushes back his blazer a little showing him his gun by his waist, "we wouldn't of have a problem getting in, do we?"
"N- no sir, sorry", he steps aside and they went inside.
"You have a gun on you?" Elisha gasps.
"Why not? I'm a gang leader after all", he whispers and leads her to the VIP area where Zane is already with a red hair girl sitting by his side.
"You're here man, no sign of the package yet", Zane passes him two empty glasses and the wine.
Elisha sits down on the other side of the table while Zane's fling for the night eyes Brendan.
"Here you go, I'm going to talk to some of my men", Brendan whispers in her ear as he hands her the glass and kisses the side of her head.
He leaves.
Elisha finishes her fifth glass of wine then chokes a little when she spots someone in the crowd on the dance floor.
What is she doing here and with him too?
She watches Kacy as she dances against Evan on the dance floor. Evan didn't say he was partying tonight, but Kacy said she was hitting one.
"Friend of yours? The guy", Zane asks.
"We just work together, but I can't understand what he's doing here?" She frowns.
"Baby let's go dance, I'm bored", the girl whines.
Zane glances at his wrist, "one song, I got some things to do", they get up and go to the dance floor just as Brendan returns.
"Missed me?" He smirks.
"Not one bit, but we got a problem Kacy's here", Elisha points to the dance floor where Kacy is kissing Evan?
Evan pulls away from her quickly, he says something and shakes his head.
Kacy gets angry, says something and storms over to the bar,"fate you just had to stress me out even more huh?" Brendan mutters.
Evan runs his hand through his hair then leaves.
"I thought you only get into here with an ID?" Elisha frowns.
"Yeah, she probably told the bouncer that she knows me or something, this isn't the first time she got into a club without Zack's knowledge. I saw her a few times at clubs where I went for business", Brendan explains.
Zane comes back forty minutes later buttoning his shirt, his hair a little messy and neck with a few hickeys.
"She got you good", Elisha points at his neck.
"Yeah, I'll be taking her with me later too", he smirks.
"Our men are in position", Draven finally arrives with a glass in his hand.
"Good, Lisha stay here we got some business to handle, don't go anywhere", Brendan turns to Elisha who nods, he kisses the side of her head.
A few minutes later Kacy approaches her,"what a pleasant surprise, wasn't expecting you here."
"You neither, take a seat", Elisha offers.
"I'm leaving anyway, I just came to tell you that a few girls were taking sh*t about you", she shrugs.
"I don't care, they're just Brendan's jealous exes", Elisha states.
"Just be careful and avoid the washroom, those girls are dangerous and sneaky", Kacy warns.
Like yourself, Elisha thoughts.
"Thank you for your concern, so see you tomorrow at work?"
"I don't think I'm coming I'm going to visit my grandparents", she shrugs and leaves.
"So you must be Brendan's new sl*t, I mean you're not even that pretty", a brunette hair girl approaches the table, she's in a much shorter revealing dress than Kacy.
"Excuse me, but the only sl*t around here is you. I mean no wonder Brendan dropped you like a hot potato", Elisha smirks and she turns red.
"What we had was special, I was with him for two weeks", she shrieks.
"Wow only two weeks? I heard he had a girlfriend for two years and they were serious", Elisha informs her.
"Yeah then the h*e cheated on him and got herself pregnant for some other guy. I wouldn't even swoop so low to get dumped."
Elisha rolls her eyes, this airhead thought Layla did that just to get dump? She's more stupid than she looked.
"I would love to stay and continue this useless and waste of time conversation, but you're perfume is starting to affect the air", Elisha says covering her nose.
She scoffs and leaves.

Brendan is on top of the building next to the club waiting for the trade to take place, his men are on top of the other roof waiting for his command.
At 11:00 pm, two vehicles pull up in the alley and four men get out then another four comes from the opposite side.
"Got our package?" The one on the left asks, Brendan figures that's the gang which is doing trading with Jett's.
"Right here", one of Jett's man walks forward with two bags,"our money?"
The other man who talked first snaps his fingers and a man throws a bag to his feet.
Brendan signals his men and they shoot at the alley, but not injuring anyone.
"You double crosser!" The man yells at Jett's men taking out his gun and his man takes up the bag with the money running to the van.
"We? It could be your men double crossing us", Jett's man snaps.
Brendan's men shot again,"sh*t let's get out of here", Jett's men ducks running out the alley,"this isn't over."
"Its not my men shooting, if I wanted you dead you would have been long time. This is war, I don't like double crossers", the other gang's man snaps.
The two gangs leave.
"At least Jett has something else to worry about except trying to take Elisha", Zane chuckles.
"Yeah, let's go. I told Lisha we'll be home by midnight", Brendan says.
"Dude you're so whipped, just ask her out already", he rolls his eyes.
"I don't want to ruin what we have", Brenda replies.
"Whatever, when another guy sweep her off her feet don't get mad", Zane shrugs.
They go back inside the club and see Elisha drunk, she's drinking with a guy who is leaning into her as they chat.
"You came back", Elisha grins when she sees them,"this is my friend Tobias, Tobias my friends Brendan and Zane, they're in a gang but don't tell anyone", she slurs and gets into a fit of giggles.
'Tobias' smirks at her,"we'll love to stay and chat, but Lisha here wants to go for a walk with me."
"You guys should come too", Elisha claps.
"I think its time we go home", Brendan glares at Tobias pulling Elisha into his arms.
"No I want to go with Tobias", Elisha whines trying to pull away from Brendan.
"Yeah leave her alone man, she wants to go with me", Tobias says.
Zane punches him and Elisha gasps then starts to cry,"you kill him", she cries as Tobias is on the floor holding his nose.
"Let's go", Brendan leads her out the club and up the block to his vehicle.
"He killed Tobias", she sniffs.
"He is alive trust me", Brendan mutters.
"He is? You're my hero Brendan", Elisha hugs him and tries to kiss him, but he turns his head and her lips press against his cheek.
Brendan been waiting to hear those words, but not like this and not now. When he gets Jett and her father behind bars then he would definitely want to hear it.
