Y/n's P.O.V
My blood ran cold. I was the last one, I walked front and sat on the table. I could feel the looks and whispers about me
"MM.... a girl from different world.. this is interesting" hat said
"You know?" I whispered
"Of course.... I'm a sorting hat for a reason.... But what could I do with you?"
"If you know everything, then you know how important is for me to be around Harry.. Choose wisely.. please" I requested
"Of course I would.. But where to put you???? You have.. kindness... yes, could be a Hufflepuff but wait.. there's little evilness... just a right amount to be a Slytherin.. oh you're smart.. really intelligent.. you would be a Ravenclaw... and here's braveness and confidence... you have everything.. you can be in any house easily... but that's what makes you difficult..mm" Hat said, I looked at Professor, she was waiting for the hat to say anything but then
"GRYFFINDOR!!!!!" They yelled alot louder then before
I smiled and walked towards the table. While walking I heard few grunts from other houses as well as Weasley twins's "We have both Kims" I walked and sat between Jake and Ron. Jake was so happy. everyone was shaking hands with me. We heard glass clink
"Your attention please"
Professor Dumbledor stood up and said "Let the Feast begin" and like that.. a great amount of food was in front of us. I looked around me.. it all looked so good. I saw Jake taking fair amount of food in a plate and then he placed it in front of me.
I smiled "Thank you.. you start too" I said and waited for him to take his food
"Why are you not eating??" Ron asked me eating his food
"Jake hasn't started.. It is a Asian manner that older eats first" I said and Ron nodded, then Jake quickly ate something.
"Now.. you have it" Jake said eating. after that I started eating too
Many of us were talking. introducing each other "So you really are his sister?" I looked up and saw George.. no maybe Fred
"I am Fred Weasley.." "And I'm George Weasley"
"We are Ron's older brothers" they said in unison
"Nice to meet you... I am Y/n" I smiled
"Yes.. we saw.. it was a quite a shock when we found out our class mate has a secret sister" George said
"he hid it really well. He never told us that he has a pretty sister" Fred said completing each other's lines. Then I heard Percy Weasley telling Harry about Snape. And then Ron yelled a out of no where.
"Hello.. How are you?" He asked Ron.. "Welcome to Gryffindor" And then We saw many of other ghosts coming in the Hall.
"Hello, Sir Nicholas. Have a nice Summer?" Percy asked him
"Dismal. Once again, my request to join the headless Hunt has been denied" He said and flew away
"I know you. You're Nearly Headless Nick" Ron gasped
"I prefer Sir Nicholas, if you don't mind" He said annoyingly
" 'Nearly' headless??" I shook my head to Hermione but she ignored me and continued
"How can you be nearly headless" She asked him. I turned my head to my plate. Jake did the same snickering
"Like this"Â Â We heard and Ron and others groaned
"How did you know he was going to do that" Percy asked me
"uh... um" I saw almost everyone around me was looking at me
"I told her.... She is still new to everything.. So I introduced her to few things..." Jake said covering for me
"That's great.. hope you enjoy without breaking any rules" Percy said and continued eating. I looked at Jake and turned to others. They were little confuse with the greeting too

We now ate our dinner and as a first year I was following Percy with others
"Gryffindors, follow me, please, keep up, Thank you" He said
"This is the most direct path to the dormitories. oh and keep an eye on the staircases. they like to change" We saw the view. it was same as the movies.
Percy said us to follow him and we did. We could see the pictures moving. My class mates were memorizing everything. I was smiling like an idiot now
After walking for a while Percy stopped in front of the frame. the lady in it asked "Password?"
"Caput Draconis" He said and She motioned the door open. Percy went in as we followed him.
"Gather around here....Welcome to Gryffindor common room...Boy's dormitories is upstairs to the left. Girl's the same on your right. You'll find your all belongings have already been brought up." He said and left. Everyone went upstairs to rest but i stayed back
"Why are you not coming?" Hermione asked me
"I am waiting for my brother.. He said he wanted to talk to me... You go ahead" I smiled and instead of going she walked and took seat on one of the chairs
"I'll wait with you until he arrives.... and as a pay back. promise me you will sit with me tomorrow?" She said and I nodded my head smiling.
After few minutes Jake and other Gryffindors arrived. when he saw me he bid others and came to me. When Hermione saw him. she got up and said
"See you tomorrow.. don't forget what you promised" she smiled and left
"Made friends already.. that's quite a talent" Jake chuckled taking seat next to me. I could feel many people looking at me. It made me feel like center of attention. Jake seemed to notice it.
"Don't mind them.. it's going to happen alot from now on. Uncle said that after your sorting you can be around with both of us without any problems... And yes.. He would be so happy that you got sorted house as me.. I can assure him that you are going to be safe here"
"Haru is not quite trained for delivering mails. can you tell him instead.. about my sorting?" I asked
"Of course. I can't see why not... But there was something we wanted to know.. Because of the news we forgot to ask you" He looked around and then whispered "You drank the potion... you are going to have the color of light.. can you tell me what it was?"
"I don't know...... You never told me how to find out. and I don't think I have it" I whispered
"You do have it.. Kim potion is really powerful.... Is there any color that came alot around you while buying things. or was there any glowing ray when you touched your wand" He asked
"There was a glowing ray" I said when I remembered " It was... Violet"
"Violet????" he gasped loudly and covered it with a cough. "That is rarest color of all.. No one had it yet.. It combines the calm stability of blue and the fierce energy of red. It colors of our Parents.." He explained
"Honey.. Violet represents royalty, nobility,power, and ambition. Did Mr. Ollivander say anything about you being great witch?" He asked and I nodded
"Oh no....You got some work in future you have to do"He whispered. "Can I see your wand and its box?" He asked out of no where
"I understand you want to see my wand.. but why the.. box?" I asked him
"The box says what things are used in the wand" He explained
"Um.. I just got the wand... I kept the box in my room.... In Kim Manor" I said taking out my wand but he smirked" I knew that.." just then Suri - Jake's owl came from one of the windows... with the box of my wand. My jaw dropped
"I figured when I saw your trolley.. So I told her to get it.. Let's see what is in your wand... We have to agree, it's beautiful" He said all this really quickly
"hmm... Merlin... .. Oh.. wow... " He kept gasping
"Is something wrong?" I asked him
"Your wand... It's an experiment.... It is a mixture that combined and works together perfectly.. and more of that....It is same as every family member.. It has the same things that is used in our wands... Our Parents, Uncle and myself" he smiled
"How exactly??" I asked
"Let me explain.... The wood used in it is a mixture of Apple and Cherry wood. Dad's wand had Apple wood. And Mom's had Cherry wood. and Your's is a mixture of both of it. Its 14 inches. same as Uncle's but.. why does your wand's core is Phoenix's feather instead of Dragon heart-string?? "
"Um... It is connected to Harry's and Voldemort's wand.... It.. will complete the one I choose" I said quietly
"You will choose Harry's side right?" He asked being unsure
"Of course.. No matter what happens.. I would never choose.. Voldemort's side" I said assuring him. but then one thing came into my mind
"You said it is same as every family member.. How is it same as yours??" I asked changing the topic and then pulled his wand out.
'It's my first time seeing his wand'
"Mine has a stone of my color in the end... like you do" He smiled and I looked at my wand.... It had Amethyst in the end...
"You are right.... but why is it my first time seeing your wand?" I asked him
"It is Uncle's rule.. I better tell you now.. since we are not allowed to use magic outside the school.. Uncle will take our wands the whole summer vacation. He will only give it back when we ready to come back here" He signed
"That is cruel... He doesn't trust you, does he?" I teased him
"well.. because of me, he won't trust you as well..... I think you should go now... It is really late.. I have write a letter to Uncle.... You go ahead and take a sleep... Good night" He said. I nodded and went upstairs. When I entered, I saw 4 girls in my dorm and one of them was Hermione and sadly the bed next to her was empty
"Why are standing there???? I saved that bed for you" Hermione said sitting on the bed. I looked clearly and saw my bags and uniform near my bed that was next to window and on the window I saw Haru. I went there
"I'm really sorry if you mind.. but you took long so I organized you things." Hermione said
"That is so great.. thank you so much...." I smiled at her, she smiled back
"Can two of you be little quite??? I am trying to sleep here" 1 of the girl said
"Don't talk to her like that... She came from a really powerful family.... It won't be good if she gets mad" other one whispered loud enough for me... I was little annoyed but I decided to be nice
"I am Y/n Kim.... and you are?" I smiled
"I--- I am Parvati Patil... That girl sleeping is my twin sister.. her name Padma" she greeted me
'Oh.. its them'
"I am Lavender Brown.... " She said being annoyed
"Okay" I said and turned to Hermione. "I'll go get fresh and come back soon"
"I will wait for you" She said and I went in the bathroom
After changing into my Pjs I went back. the lights were off. but Hermione was still awake. I smiled and went to my bed.
"What are you reading" I asked her while giving food to Haru
"Its about Transfiguration.. It is our first class tomorrow.. I'm just being prepared" She said
"Don't you think you should rest now??? You don't want to over work on first day" I said Laying on my bed
"You are right.. Maybe we should..... Good night" She said laying too
"Good Night"
Time skip
"Wake up....wake up!... You are going to be late" I heard in my sleep
"Wendy no..... Let me sleep 5 minutes more..." I groaned
"I am not Wendy..... I am Hermione... come up get up... we'll be late for breakfast" She shook me hardly as I tried get away from her
"No no no no..OW!!!!" I yelled when I fell from my bed. Then I heard Hermione laughing
"Don't laugh Hermione its hurts" I grunted standing up
"Well.. it is okay that you are up now... Go get ready I'll wait for you.... I hope you didn't forget your promise" She said pushing me into the bathroom
After few minutes I came back. "Who is Wendy?" She asked me
"uh.. Um.. she is... my care taker" I smiled
"Here... your hairclip... you wore it in train as well as in the feast last night... It must be important"
"Yes.. it is..... It was my... my Mom's" I hesitated and wore it
"It must've been hard on you... I read that you were born few days before that happened" She said patting my back thinking I hesitated talking about Irene
"Yeah.. I am better now.. Lets go" I said walking downstairs
'Its been while..... because of all of this.... I completely forgot about Wendy.... I wonder How she is.. It's been so long.. Is she worried for me... She must have.. I wish I could tell her my current whereabouts'
"Are you okay??? What are you thinking about?" I heard Jake's voice and I was in great Hall??
"When did I got here???" I asked out loud
"Just now.. You were in your thoughts so I didn't disturbed you" Hermione said beside me
"Oh... I am Jake Kim... Y/n's brother" Jake greeted her
"I am Hermione Granger" She smiled
"Take care of my sister... I really hope you two study well" He said passing my plate full of food and eating his
that's when it hit me
'I HAVE TO STUDY!!!!!!!!!!!' my eyes widen
"Jake... Jake..." I kicked his feet he groaned and asked "What?"
"I completely forgot I have to study Magic" I whispered
"How can you forget???? Its a witchcraft school... 'school' .. and of course you have to study" Jake whispered back
"But how am I going to do it?" I asked loudly earning the attentions around me
"Is anything wrong?" Percy asked
"No.. She is worried for her first day" Jake said quickly
"Look... You got potion running in your blood.... you can do everything.. besides teachers are here teach you here....look , You understood everything about our history... really fast.. You'll keep up.. Don't worry" He whispered
"And If anything happens.. I would always help you" we heard
"That's would be good" "Thanks Hermione" Jake and I said in Unison
'wait' Our eyes widen. we looked at each other and then Hermione
"H-how much did y-you heard H-Hermione" We asked in unison
"Not much... you two are good at whispering... I just heard that you are worried for your 1st day... Don't worry.. I would help you no matter what happens" Hermione smiled
'She wants me to rely on her..... it's okay.. she'll change after Halloween.. I better go along'
I smiled and ate my breakfast
