Y/n's P.O.V
I couldn't believe my eyes for millionth time... I've seen this scene thousands of times but seeing it from my own eyes felt very different. I could feel Harry glance at me, I wanted to look back but I didn't want to take my eyes off the view. Hagrid started walking and we followed him.
"Here's you get your quill and ink" Hagrid showed us
"And over there, all your bits and bobs for doing wizardry" Hagrid continued to introduce us. We both were looking every place we could see. While walking we also saw a Pet shop and if I'm not wrong then we maybe saw Hedwig. There were a group of kids in front of broomstick shop talking about Nimbus 2000. 'I want to tell Harry that he is going to own one soon' I thought.
"But Hagrid, How am I to pay for all of this?? I haven't money" Harry said worriedly
"Look There's your money Harry. Gringotts, The wizard bank" Hagrid showed us happily. "Ain't no safer place, not one... except perhaps Hogwarts"
'Well.. it won't be safe now' I chuckled
We entered the bank and all of the goblins were staring at us like we were Robbers. for my fun.. I was glaring them back and that made Harry smile. 'it worked'
"Uh.. Hagrid.. What exactly are these things?" Harry asked
"These are Goblins, Harry" I answered
"She's right.. They're clever as they come but not the most friendly beasts....Best stay close" Hagrid warned us. As soon as he said, Harry scooted close to me and Hagrid. I smiled. we went to main counter.
Hagrid cleared his throat and said "Mr. Harry Potter wishes to make a withdrawal"
When he said. that goblin stopped writing and bent from the table to see Harry.
"And does Mr. Harry Potter have his key?" He asked Harry
"Oh wait a minute here... Got it somewhere" Hagrid said finding the key in his pocket. That goblin went back and after few seconds Hagrid found it." Ha! Here's the little devil" He showed the key and then turned to me.He was staring at me, I didn't knew why so I stared back.
"Your turn, young Y/n" Hagrid said.
"ohh" I said when I realized. I stood between Harry and Hagrid, Cleared my throat and said " Um.. I want to make a withdrawal from Irene Kim's Vault"
When the goblin heard her name he looked at me suspiciously. "And who might you be?"
"I am Y/n Kim.. Her ..d-daughter" I said trying not to hesitate
"why should I believe you??? Do you have her key???" Ha asked me still doubting me. I glanced at Harry. he was looking at me.. he looked confused. I looked back at the Goblin
"Yes... its here" I took the hair clip of my hair and showed him and he looked satisfied and nodded his head. then Hagrid begun whispering loud enough for Harry and me
"And there's something else as well." He took a mail from his pocket " Professor Dumbledor gave me this." He gave it to goblin "Its about You-know-what in vault you-know-which"
"Very well" Goblin said.... Harry looked suspicious and confused at the same time. 'God I miss the background music'. I signed and Harry looked at me.. I just shrugged
a little time skip
We were now sitting in that roller coaster thingy. It felt like a real roller coaster ride. I was sitting next to harry.. and he was a little shy..'that won't do Harry.. Talk to me Potter I want to gain your trust' My thoughts were broke when we stopped
"Vault 687"
"Whose vault is this??" Harry whispered to me when we were getting up
"Its yours..look" I whispered back
"Lamp please" he asked Hagrid, he passed it to him and we got of out as well. "Key please" Hagrid gave it him. He unlocked the Vault. When it opened we saw the vault full of gold coins. Harry stood there amazed.
"Did you think your parents would leave you with nothing?" Hagrid said to Harry
"No parents would" I replied to them..They both smiled at me "Go get the money, Harry" I shoved him a little. He went there and took the coins in few small bags.
Later, I guess we were going to get money for me. But when we arriving I saw that the surroundings were cleaner than before..it was bright we wouldn't need lamp here
"Vault 555" Goblin said. We got off and saw a white door in front. It had different color of flowers made of diamonds. it was kind of like a bouquet. it had almost every color.
"Its so beautiful" Harry whispered, I nodded in reply
"Your key, please" Goblin said to me. I took the hair clip again and gave him. he took it and placed it in the middle of the door. 'It had every color... except for violet.. that's what completes it..She was intelligent'
The door opened and the size was 2x bigger than Harry's. And It was also full of gold coins. I unconsciously took Harry's arms and dragged him with me. When we went inside we could also see there were alot of jewelries. "That's why he gave me this"Â IÂ whispered.
"W-who Gave you w-what??" Harry sounded nervous so I looked at him. He was red then I looked what my hand was holding. when I saw that I dragged him here I shoved my hand out    "I'm so sorry.. I think I needed help" I said blushing myself.
"Yeah.. I'll help" Harry replied putting his bags on the ground. 'Way to go Y/n... You'll scare him like this.. maybe he is already scared' I signed. we took some coins and went back. Hagrid told us to keep our bags at the back. we did and took our seat. then goblin gave me the hair clip and started moving the ride . I wore the clip back. I saw Harry looking at me.
"please don't tell anybody that its a key" I pleaded him. "That is important.. why would you wear it???" Harry asked me smiling.
"Its a Hair clip.. it would feel offended if its not getting used the way it was made for" I said and Harry chuckled. I laughed a little too. but then
"Vault 713" goblin said 'oh goodness'
We got off and Harry asked " What's in there Hagrid??"
"Can't tell you. Hogwarts business, very secret" Hagrid said.
Goblin said " stand back" and begun to unlock the door. It opened and we saw Philosopher's stone-- 'wait no.... let me rephrase it' we saw a small packet. Hagrid went in and took it and then turned to us.
"Best to not mention this to anyone, you two" he said putting it in his pocket. We nodded
Time skip
Harry and I got almost everything. We got out of one shop and Harry was listing all the things
"we still need the wand" he said out loudly
"A wand?? go to Ollivanders. There ain't no better place" Hagrid showed us the shop. 'Finally'
"You two run along there and wait. I got one more thing to do" Hagrid said and left us alone.
'He's going to get him an owl' I smiled and followed Harry to the shop. We went in, Harry putted his stuff on the table and then took mine. I said a little 'thank you' and told him to go first, he nodded and went in and called for anyone.
"Hello??... Hello???". just then Mr. Ollivander came sliding from the second floor
"I wondered when I'd would be seeing you, Mr. Potter..." then he looked at me " And a great pleasure to meet you too.. I believe Ms... Kim?" He asked me I nodded
'wait.. how did he know??' i crossed my eye brows
He came down and started looking for a wand. "It seems only yesterday that both of your parents were in here buying their first wands..ah" He got a box and took the wand "Here we are" then he passed it to Harry. He took it and stood there no knowing what to do.
Mr. Ollivander and I said it unison "Give it a wave"
Harry replied with an 'oh' and waved it but it made the drawers shut open hardly. Harry Flinched and kept the wand on the table quickly. I bit my tongue so I couldn't laugh
"Apparently Not" Mr. Ollivander said and went to get another wand. "Perhaps.... This" He passed another one to Harry. He took it and gave it flick and that made a vase explode. Harry Flinched again and putted the wand again.
"No, No, definitely not... No matter" He comforted Harry that it was fine. He went in and took one box. He took it and whispered "I wonder...." and glanced back at Harry. 'It is his wand' I smiled to myself. Mr. Ollivander came back and passed the wand to Harry. When he touched it. there was a light around him and soft breeze moved his hair. I was watching with excitement and Mr. Ollivander was shocked.
"Curious... Very Curious" He whispered
Harry licked his lips. "Sorry.. but what's curious?" He asked him
"I remember every wand I sold, Mr. Potter" He took the wand back. "It so happens that Phoenix , whose tail feathers resides in your wand, gave few another, Just two others."
'wait.. what???? 2 others????' i crossed My eye brows
"It is curious that you should be destined for this wand.. when its brother gave to that scar" He continued and made Harry raise his eye brows.
"And who owned that wand??" Harry. I was about to reply but Ollivander said it instead of me
"We do not speak his name.. The wand chooses the wizard, Mr. Potter. It's not always clear why. But I think its clear.. that we can expect great things from you..After all, He-who-must-be-not-named.. did great things..Terrible..yes.. but great" He gave the wand back to Harry and said.. "Let's get you your wand Ms. Kim" he smiled, i nodded my head
My heart was beating so fast. Maybe Harry noticed it and gave me a encouraging smile. I smiled back and took a step in front. Ollivander came back with a wand. i took it.. it didn't reacted.. 'its not this one.. well it doesn't hurt anyone to give it a try' I gave it flick and the drawers that Harry shoved out started flying.. it almost hit Mr. Ollivander. "I'm so sorry" I said and kept the wand back quickly.
'I take my words back'
"I know.. just what to give you.." Ollivander said and went inside. " He came back with a Red Velvet box. He pulled out the wand and it to me. I gasped when saw it.. 'it was beautiful'
The second I held it. A Violet sparkled ray twirled from top to my feet , all around me and with a soft breeze it stopped. Ollivander smiled. 'why anything I get now-a-days is Violet colored??'
"It chose you, Ms. Kim..... I've tried to sell this to all of the wizards ..and witch of well-known families... But it never selected anyone... not one...because it was destined to be yours.. Ms. Kim.... As I told Mr. Potter before that the Phoenix who gave the feather that resides in his wand, It gave just two another... the one in You-know-who's wand.... and the other one is in yours..."
"That's means its connected to them" I whispered
"yes that's right..... apparently your wands completes one of the other two.. whichever you choose will have more chances of defeating others...... Since power lies in your blood.... we will definitely see many great things from you... I hope you use your wand correctly" Ollivander smiled and went to pack our wands. I was still shocked
"Our wands complete eachother.. huh??" Harry said making me look at him. "I guess???" I said not confidently
"I can only think one thing from this" My heart beat increased for the reason I didn't knew.... "That we are meant to friends" Harry smiled
I signed in relief " You think of me as your friend??" I asked him
He smiled " Of course...You are the greatest friend I'll ever have"
That made smile even more. 'mission accomplished'
Right then we heard a tap in the window we looked back and saw Hagrid with a cage that Hedwig was in.
"Happy Birthday Harry!" Hagrid said cheerfully, Harry was smiling and that's when it hit me
'Crap....I forgot it was his birthday' I mentally slapped myself for forgetting it.
"Let's go Y/n" Harry said and started walking. I followed him still slapping myself in my mind..'I could just give him something... that would be alot easier to win the friend-zone'. We came out... Harry took the cage saying 'Thank-you' to Hagrid. But just then Hagrid pulled another cage with an owl.
"Welcome to Wizardly world, Y/n..." Hagrid said happily. I said Thanks to him and took the cage. when I saw the owl.........'what the-??'
Harry was happy to get Hedwig meanwhile I was eyeing my owl.....'why??? Look yourself'
'Red and Blue???????' I looked at Hagrid..'does he know??'
"Something wrong Y/n?" Harry asked me
"No.....Nothing is wrong" I said staring my owl
"Did you not like the owl, young Y/n????" Hagrid asked concernedly
"No... Its just????? why THIS unique owl?" I asked
"Well.. Yer Uncle said to buy something unique for you in the letter.... when I went and looked for an owl.. I saw him.. and I decided that it was best for him to be with Ya" Hagrid replied
I smiled "Thank you very much Hagrid" I said and he smiled
Time Skip
Now we were taking lunch. since they were about to talk about James and Lily's death. I thought I could cheer Harry up so i ordered cake for him.. well you know why.... Dudley eat his cake Hagrid made.. he deserves that. and now we were silently eating our food
"You alright Harry?? You two seem very quite" Hagrid asked us...'i don't why he asked me'
"He killed my parents, didn't he?. the one who gave me this" Harry said touching his scar. "you know Hagrid... I know you do"
Hagrid signed and said " First you.." he looked at me "-two understand this because its very important: Not all the wizards and witches are good...Some of them go bad. a few years ago...There was a wizard who went as bad as you can go . His name was v--" he hesitated
he signed again "his name was V-"
"Maybe if you wrote it down??" Harry suggested
"No, I can't spell it"
"His name was Voldemort" I said before him..
"Voldemort??" Harry said looking at me but Hagrid shushed him down
"Thank you dear Y/n... it was dark times, Harry.. Dark times..Voldemort started to gather some followers. Brought them over to the dark side. Anyone that stood up to him ended up dead. Both of your parents fought against him. But nobody lived once he decided to kill them.. Nobody, not one...except you.." Hagrid said
"Me?? Voldemort tried to kill me?" Harry Gasped. I nodded my head
"Yes. that ain't no ordinary cut on you forehead, Harry.. that mark like that only comes from being touched by a curse, an evil curse." Hagrid explained
"What happened to V-.. to you-know-who" Harry asked
"Well, some said he died--"
"That's wrong" I interrupted making both of them look at me
"He wasn't dead... he was weak... he needed power to live... he came to Kims.. My..p-parents.... asked to help him and carry on their lives... but they declined and with all his stored power.. he murdered them too.. I was just born.... it was few days after your parents died.."
'the day Uncle Eric gave me the clip... he told me tell everyone this story.... he says that no one clearly knows what happened that night.. this is what he assumed happened'
"yes.. that could be the most truthful version I heard.. and the reason he was weak because something about you Harry.. stumped him that night.. " Hagrid said
"That why your famous. That why everybody knows your name" I said
"You are the boy who lived" Hagrid and I said in unison. Harry got lost in the thoughts...and that's when the waitress asked me if she could bring the cake. I nodded my head and she arrived at our table
"Your order lady and gentlemen" she said and left
"a cake??? we didn't order a cake" Hagrid said trying to stop her but i told him
"I ordered it... earlier I found out it was Harry's birthday.. and no birthday without a cake is good.. so...here.. Happy Birthday Harry" I said passing the cake to him.. He was smiling widely
Time skip
We were now completely done our shopping and it was time to go back..
"Where are you going to stay Y/n??" Harry asked me
"Um.. Kim manor... that's where i live" I said
"I forgot to ask you something... if you don't mind" he asked, i nodded my head for him to continue
"You said before that.. V-- You-know-who came to your family for help.. and every time you mentioned your name to shopkeepers.. they were either shocked or surprised.. why was that??"
"See Harry...Kim family has always been popular... and since the day my p-parents were killed.. My uncle decided to not mention me anywhere... in order to keep me safe, no one knew about me...and now when I came back..I'm like a new famous face for everyone" i explained
"Just like me" Harry whispered. "what??" I asked. he stuttered "n-nothing"
"and one more thing Harry..don't call him 'You-know-who'.. he has a name.. Call him Voldemort.. you have nothing to be scared of him" I assured him and he nodded smiling
"Harry.. You going to stay here...If you don't mind" Hagrid said while walking to us
"I don't Hagrid.. Thanks" Harry replied
"You can come and stay with me.. in Kim manor" I said quickly. 'what did I just say??' I widened my eyes when I realized what I said. I was about to something but Hagrid interrupted me
"That's really nice of you to invite us.. but we don't wanna trouble you... that ain't good" Hagrid said. "But if you want then you come with us tomorrow for train, yer Uncle said that" Hagrid asked
"Train??" Harry whispered
"I'd love to.. I'll make sure to be there.. I'll meet you at the gate Harry" I said
Harry smiled and nodded and that's when we heard
"My lady.. its time to go"
I turned and saw Dabon... "Everyone is waiting for you My lady"
"Okay... I'll be there.. let me get my things" I said picking my owl's cage
"You don't have to do that.... I'll take care of it" He stood next to my things and held his hand up for me
"I'll see you tomorrow Harry and Hagrid.... Have a good sleep both of you" I said and they smiled in response
"I'll see you tomorrow, Y/n" Harry waved bye
"Get home safely Young Y/n" Hagrid smiled and I took Dabon's hand and with a shook.. I was back at Kim Manor
Time skip
I was in the living room with everyone and currently Uncle Eric and Jake were laughing their as-- 'No.. I'm 10 now' They were laughing alot
"I can't believe he got this owl for you" Jake said laughing
"When I requested him to buy something unique... I-I meant for something you could wear ... This- This is unexpected" Uncle Eric laughed
"Oh come on you two..... Don't laugh.. he bought something he thought was best for me" I said being annoyed
"We--- we respect that.. he really did his best" Jake said trying to stop laughing.. Uncle Eric cleared his throat
"He is right.... he did a good job... and since its a unique owl... it resides Irene and Suho's Color.... its much better plus on the bright side you got an owl" Uncle said
"Did you meet Harry Potter?" Jake asked
"Yeah.. He said that I was the greatest friend he'll ever have" I replied
"That's good.... Tomorrow I'll escort you two to the station.... for now... you two have to go separated.. Once Y/n gets into Hogwarts.. you're free to tell you are siblings" Uncle Eric informed we nodded our heads
"Master... Dinner is ready" Debbie said
"we'll be there" We said in unison
Time skip Next day
We were now ready to go. All of my stuff were in my trunk, Debbie already packed it when I was sleeping. Uncle Eric came downstairs wearing gray suit and his long cream coat
'He looks so good..I swear I sometimes regret making him my Uncle... That guy is damn hot--NO!!!!! don't think that.. He is your Uncle now idiot' I mentally slapped myself
"Are you two ready to go???" He asked us we nodded
"I'll take you to different entrances so that no body finds you yet.... I talked with Hagrid last night.. He told me where to take you.. Let's go" Uncle Eric held out both of his hand to us.. We touched our trunks with other hand and took his hand. And within a second I was at the gate. Harry wasn't here yet.
"Looks like they haven't arrived"
I turned and saw Uncle Eric "I thought I wasn't suppose to be seen with you guys" I asked concernedly looking around
"I couldn't let you go without saying bye..... Look" He sat on his knee to keep the eye level to me "From now on... There is going to be a lot of things you would find dangerous... but you never give up.. Because I'll always be there.. Okay??" He said I nodded my head in response and then He kissed the top of my head.
"If there's any problem tell Jake and Always wear this" he said touching my hair clip. "Here.. your ticket" He passed me the ticket
When I looked up back he was gone... I signed but then I heard
"Y/n!!!!!!!! " I turned back and saw Harry and Hagrid coming toward me
'So it really begins now......'
